How To Make Polish Kielbasa Cabbage Soup

INGREDIENTS:
1 TO 1 1/2 pounds sliced kielbasa
6 cups chicken broth
1 large diced onion
3 stalks diced celery
2 diced carrots
4 cups diced cabbage
3 peeled and diced potatoes
2 cloves minced garlic
1 bay leaf
salt and black pepper
2 Tbsp. butter or chicken schmaltz/fat
In a soup pot add chicken schmaltz/butter, diced onion, celery and carrots.
Sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes.
Add kielbasa. Cook and stir for 3-4 minutes.
Add minced garlic. Cook and stir for one minute.
Add cabbage and stir to combine.
Add chicken broth and bay leaf. Bring to simmer, cover and cook
for 20 minutes.
Add potatoes, bring back to simmer and cook for an additional 15 minutes.
Serve and enjoy.

INGREDIENTS:
2-3 cups cubed cooked chicken
1 large diced onion (2 cups)
1 cup diced celery
1 cup diced carrots
2 tart diced apples - I used granny smith
1/3 cup rice
5 cups chicken broth
1 cup half and half
2 large cloves minced garlic
1 tsp. minced ginger
2 bay leaves
4 tsp. curry powder
1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
sprinkle of cayenne
1/2 tsp salt and to taste
1/8 tsp. black pepper and to taste
2 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
whole Greek yogurt, diced tomatoes, chives for garnish
In a soup pot add butter, olive oil, onions, celery, carrots and pinch of salt and black pepper.
Cook and stir for 5 minutes.
Add curry, turmeric, bay leaves, cayenne pepper, garlic and ginger.
Cook and stir 1 minute.
Add chicken broth and half and half. Bring to simmer, cover and cook 10 minutes.
Add rice and apples. Stir, cover and cook 15 minutes.
Add cooked chicken, stir ad cook 1-2 minutes to heat chicken through.
Serve and garnish with yogurt, tomatoes and chives.
Enjoy.

Easy 30 Minute Lasagna Soup Recipe | Homemade Lasagna Soup
• Easy 30 Minute LASAGNA...
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 pds. ground beef
1 small diced onion
1/2 diced red bell pepper
4 cloves minced garlic
1 - 28oz can crushed tomatoes
5-6 cups beef broth
2 tsp. Italian seasonings
1 tsp. basil
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 cup Parmesan or Romano cheese
1/3 cup cream
Ricotta cheese for top
Mozzarella cheese for top
In a soup pot on medium high heat add ground beef.
Cook and chop until brown. Drain excess fat if needed.
Add diced onion and bell pepper. Cook and stir for 2-3 minutes.
Add minced garlic, salt and black pepper to taste.
Cook and stir for one minute.
Add crushed tomatoes and seasonings. Stir to combine.
Add beef broth. Turn up heat to bring to simmer.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Add pasta and stir. Simmer for 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender.
Turn off heat.
Add grated Parmesan / Romano cheese and stir.
Add cream and stir.
Ladle in oven proof soup bowls.
Add Tbsp. of Ricotta cheese and sprinkle with grated Mozzarella cheese.
Place under broiler until cheese is melted.
Garnish with parsley or basil.
Serve and enjoy.
