Great vid. If you hold down a trig and press “yes” your can preview how it sounds on that step. Very useful for doing p locks the way you’re doing because you don’t have to wait for the sequence to come back around to hear what your changes sound like

Just stumbled onto your channel, great stuff, I’m always looking for good octatrack content, it’s been my favourite machine since I got it a few years ago. For me, I use it as the worlds most overpriced guitar looper and backing track maker. Ps props on the aiaiai headphones too, they’re great

Absolutely, I feel like I’m scratching the surface with this but the basic workflow is what I’m displaying here. There’s so much more when it comes down to the routing of its effects that I feel it allows you to play with your beat and add variation. There’s definitely gonna be a lot more on this machine as I get more familiar with it.

Yes you can! There are actually a few ways to do that with the Octatrack, and Record Trigs are the craziest of them all

Hahahah right ? Surprisingly enough I feel so comfortable with this little screen since it’s so easy to look at and it gives me all the information I need a bigger screen would never hurt lol.
