Yes, its kinda weird to see black/green that is artifact heavy. I tried Glissa way back. There are so much you can do and so many interactions, also many builds (infect/proliferate, tax, etc)
I built a recurring murderous theme style Glissa that seems to run amazingly. I would say, to anyone building or running the deck, there are 2 required cards. Viridian Longbow and Thornbite Staff Either one attached to Glissa makes her a murder stick and Thornbite can kill armies if you have the mana to spend.
Danial would have been able to cast his commander on turn 2, if he had cast Cultivate on turn 1. He would have been more mana efficient. He spent 3 turns without using mana from his Tropical Island, which means that he could have just gotten a shockland instead.
It makes me feel less bad about how much i forget triggered abilities like drawing extra cards to see how much your group is forgiving towards each other for it
Sure. It is a three card combo involving Aetherflux Reservior, Bolas's Citadel, and Sensie's Devining Top with Aetherflux Reservior being the finisher. Aetherflux Reservior gains you one life for each spell you have cast in a turn every time you cast a spell and allows you to pay 50 life to deal 50 damage. Bolas's Citadel is used in the combo as it allows you to play the top card of your library by paying life equal to its converted mana cost. Sensei's Divining Top is used in the combo as it can be tapped to allow you to draw a card and put it on top of your library. Once the combo is assembled, you tap the Top, draw a card, and put the Top back on top of you library, pay one life to cast it using the Citadel, and gain life back equal to the number of times you cast it from the Aetherful Resevior. Since you can keep casting the Top, you gain more and more life each time you cast it and can eventually use the Aetherflux to pay this gained life and deal 50 damage to your opponents. This combo is not infinite as you have to draw a card for each Top activation.
Man, there are so many unnecessary instances of casting instants or activating abilities unnecessarily on your own turn ... they're most powerful in your opponents turns!
Yes, but sometimes you don't want a) opponents to untap (e.g. for a counterspell), b) an end of turn effect to happen (e.g. Jin-Gitaxias), c) an upkeep effect to happen (e.g. create fearies or adding mana). Or you want it to be bait, or lastly and least you may want to look like a noob to later surprise them.
Trashy combat deck vs 2 combo decks. Pretty obvious that Trevor didn't stand a chance. The only way to play Zurgo on tables like those is with Obliterate and Jokulhaups.
Cause a combo is easier than dealing 120 damage. It took him 15 mana (he couldve saved 4 by just tapping his top instead of cryptic) and 3 cards to assemble. Pretty tame
Bowl of chocolate-covered almonds is a pretty sweet play and should see more action!
The problem is the costly upkeep.
unfortunately they have Vanishing....
What a play
15:00 An actual Food artifact token
One time in an eldraine draft i used a thing of roasted peanuts i got earlier as food tokens lol
It’s crazy to think how far your channel has come. Keep it up homie.
Daniel's Mana Crypt should have bounced to his hand from Michael's Cyclonic Rift
Good catch!
thats why you don't put mana rocks in the same area as your lands..
Yeah, that's a very common and silly mistake...
I always recommend to put mana rocks somewhere else, but nobody listens to me :'(
Ultimately didn’t matter. Didn’t take the damage
Why didn't Dan on turn one, fetch, play Mana crypt and then play cultivate?
Commandeering the chocolate covered almonds is probably the dirtiest play I have ever seen....
That was a pretty sweet Alela deck. Gotta love gaining 100 times the life you lost the whole game in one swoop.
Thanks for the content, Andrew. And thanks to Trevor for being a sport and filming these for us! :)
I'm excited to see a Glissa deck. She's a hella fun a commander and every deck I see has cards I'd never think of.
First strike plus deathtouch is nasty
@@nanoacido5174 that isn't the abusable element of the card though ;)

He never got his elephant token
Hype for the Alela deck list when we can get it.
I love saving up 700 Mana with nothing to spend it on
Me too thanks as a Johnny
Lol Mana Crypt refused to go back to hand.
Oh boy, that Alela deck seems sweet. Hurry up Michael, I gotta check that list!

Always a pleasure. Thanks Muddstah.
Does anyone know what sleeves Michael used this game? I was given those sleeves from a friend and I want to get more of them! Such good quality.
It makes me feel less bad about how much i forget triggered abilities like drawing extra cards to see how much your group is forgiving towards each other for it
Do you happen have a list for the Alela deck by chance? I'm looking into building an artifacts matter deck and would love to see what he included!
Hard to tell, but I think Michael forgot to draw from Avacyn attacking because Windreader Sphinx is any creature with flying
Came here to say this, any creature with flying triggers it, not just your own
Aidan Weiss-Rice very cool! I didn’t know that.
Trevor: Is a combo player
Also Trevor: That combo is called beating ass
This post is endorsed by the Naya gang
Alela seems really nice rewarding you for mana development and permanent based disruption
Really want to see Michael's list!
I hope we see more planechase in the future, the planechase game was really interesting.
I'm picking up the Anthology set soon so that I can not have to rely on others bringing it.
@@MTGMuddstah Sounds awesome, can't wait.
Thought I missed It didn’t ya! Daniel forgot to return the mana crypt to his hand from cyclonic rift!
is Daniels deck completely foiled out? I saw some expensive foils int ehre
Michael better hurry up with that list, it Looks heck'n sweet
at 9:35, Elijan forgot to put a beautifull elephant in play, thk to the generous gift :)
seems like they used a centaur tokenas a stand it seconds later.
and then Daniel rifted anyways
When we can get the Alela deck list?
Any update on the Alela deck list?
Why is it that none of the decklists i want are never given
U guys should play with commanders from theros beyond death 💀.
Lots of cool commanders that I’d love to see in action!
Giving the season's past at 10:55 is silly.
Very silly.
EDIT: oh, the spellbomb. I totes forgot. :P
9:01 bro got out two tezzerets, does the planes walker uniqueness rule not apply the same as legendary creatures?
Really want to see Elijah’s list
Why didn't Daniel's mana crypt return to his hand aftet the second cyclonic rift?
That Thalia card is beautiful.
Alela gives flying creatures +1/+0, which was missed regularly.
I'm from the Bronx
Where in NY was it filmed?
will there be siona enchantress games in the future?
is it only me but was shocked not see turn 1 cultivate into turn 2 commander?
9:08 ouch...😂
Did you ever get the Glissa deck list?
Deck list please!!!!!
Did Michael ever make a deck list?
Did the Alela deck ever get posted?
This game was full of Trevor's except that the original was the only one not making Trevor plays
:(
Still waiting Michael list
5:45 shouldn't that be 6 damage because of Alela?
Still no glissa decklist available? :(
Want that Alela list!!
@Michael, list please!
I don't understand how that final combo worked - can someone explain?

Thank you so much! Very appreciated.
Yay! Generic Goblin Noise!
Why didn't Daniel cast a first turn cultivate? He would have a second turn kruphix
I don't understand the game winning combo in detail. Also Michael's deck list is still missing.
Alela list please! :)
“He then plays a tapped evolving wilds which is just…. AWFUL” 😂😂😂
Nice
top on top
Thoughts on putting Blood Funnel into a fairly average Glissa deck?
I had to delete my last comment since it could have been viewed as a spoiler. I made the comment before I even knew who won the game lol.
Daniel shouldn't have had mana crypt after cyc rift. Nothing happened anyway.
Man, there are so many unnecessary instances of casting instants or activating abilities unnecessarily on your own turn ... they're most powerful in your opponents turns!

Lit
Doesn't he make a 1/1 farie from also playing the artifact land.
No, Alela only triggers on cast.
@@Onattamato Oh yea, still think etb would have been better, but i guess some form of balance is needed.
The Living10 You realize that if it was on etb then she would go infinite with herself, think about it.
@@nicholasberry8456 Yea Alela+Mycosynth latice. Probably others too.
The Living10 Lol my bad actually, I thought she spawned artifacts not faeries.

Cyclonic Rift just stone ages such decks.
Why does it have to end with a combo... again?
Playing with powerful cards will do that.
Cause EDH tends to build to combos rather than straight damage.
Cause a combo is easier than dealing 120 damage. It took him 15 mana (he couldve saved 4 by just tapping his top instead of cryptic) and 3 cards to assemble. Pretty tame
How often do you win without it? Just curious, not trying to be rude about it or anything.
Sure it's a lame way to get wins, but it works!
A Kruphix player with a mana advantage should never tap out at the end of their turn. Rank amateur.
