Girl i know u dont do hair porosity but u definitely have low porosity hair. The water is literally running off of your hair causing it to take a minute to get wet/drenched. And it all makes sense why your hair stays moisturized longer.
I have high porosity hair and water just soaks up like a sponge but only stays moisturized for 2 to 3 days.
Definitely recommend my hydrating hair butter. It’s designed to provide long lasting moisture

With a silk press you would need to have a clarifying shampoo to cleans everything out your hair strands, then get a moisturizing shampoo to place moisture in your hair, conditioner and then a deep conditioner and leave it in for atleast 15 minutes and rinse out with cool water then place your heat protectant in. Make sure it’s a good heat protectant but not so heavy on the hair. Blow dry then flat iron.
I brought the wax w/ an edge brush. I cant wait to try it 🙌🏿
