CakeAssault is just so much better than anyone else right now with Fleet. And better than everyone in general. Leffen did extremely well to take a game
Yeah its disrespectful if he didn’t ask Chillin IMO. Considering he almost died and can barely talk now. Like if he did die would this be an okay thing to put as your PFP?
@@jebrilYou don’t think it’s more likely that it was set to that a long time ago and just wasn’t changed? Feels like you’re kind of reading into it too much.

love the comms, and cakeassault might be the progenitor of a new class of fleets! also insane take to like Hyperborean Harbor. imo its really the lack of wall jump/recovery on that stage. If we like the gimmick of no wall jump recovery, lets either add barriers to make it harder to kill off the top (partial walls for the top half of blast zone) or maybe iceberg platforms below the stage or secondary platforms below the stage. Like, it needs Something as recompense and im just spitballin here
@@Dunbeezytv Leffen is good but he's not going to put enough time to topple CakeAssault, he might beat him once or twice but I dint think CakeAssaults dominance is going to be stopped by Leffen
I mean we can't know that for sure. Many games have had a solidly best player who is leagues abive everyone else, just for them to be overshadowed eventually. From melee, a good example is M2K, who made everyone seem hopelessly outmatched. But sure enough, people always rise up through the cracks. In fact, I think the better the #1 plqyer is, the more motivated people are to improve, and the more material they have to lab and practice against Or who knows, maybe Cakeassault will be #1 for the rest if the games life cycle

Playtesters should have been banned for 3 months. In ultimate all of the playtesters were banned for 6 months when the game came out. I hope you’re not arguing playing a game for 100s of hours more than other ppl when a game is just released is fair.
I think Genesis in Feb will be the next major? Heatwave was a pretty stacked tournament last weekend, and is typically considered one of the biggest Rivals majors. But it was missing all the smash players.
Looked like a battle of brains vs brawns. Cake was the smart patient player, and leffen was the guy mashing his controller like he was making love to it.
@@danramirez8553 Trust me when I say I don't like Leffen, but that's kinda just how you're supposed to play vs a zoner as a character with good frame data. Cake is absolutely the better player in neutral, so you have to maximize your advantage state/punish game if you wanna keep up.
Tbh I feel like leffen is still trying to move like it's melee., where as some extra movement might serve for a solid mixup in melee. But in rivals it seems like it's too much and cake was sticking to solid fundamentals
This just shows how ignorant leffen haters are. Leff is and has always been one of the most technical and most clever foxes in melee. The mindset and gameplan is not why he lost lmao

Judging from their recent sets, Marlon seems to have an edge over Cake

Leffen has to land like 8 hits to get an edge guard where cake just needs one. Fleet is such a good character
Great game and great casting

It’s crazy how Leffen can’t just lose a game of anything without finding a way to blame something for why he lost.
