Hello, what would be the best way to read/write Hex data to RS232 port and send the data to IoT cloud like arduino cloud? With a Python script controlling serial port and sending with API to a IoT cloud? Can python be used to save the data to usb storage too? Thanks
Hello, To address your question, we would need to investigate your issue further and replicate it. Could you please try to replicate the issue and gather the troubleshooting file from your device (WebUI > System > Administration > Troubleshoot)? Afterward, kindly register your issue either on the Community support platform (community.teltonika.lt/c/teltonika-networks/5) or through the VIP help desk system. Thank you!
Hi, I'm using RUT-955 and a PLC with serial communication. Is there any way to communicate with the PLC (serial communication) without creating virtual comport ?
Hey! 👋 A virtual com port is necessary for a serial RUT955 and PLC communication. If you have any further questions or face any issues with Teltonika Networks' equipment, please get in touch with our engineer team 🔵 at Crowd Support Forum community.teltonika-networks.com/. They would be more than happy to help!
The Modbus data is stored in the location /tmp/modbus_db. Currently, there is no option to write this data to an external flash drive. To send data to a dedicated server from a Teltonika device, The Data to Server feature is used with the possibility to set up data senders that collect data from various sources, including Modbus, and periodically send it to remote servers. wiki.teltonika-networks.com/view/RUT956_Data_to_Server
Nice! Thanks for the Demo
Our pleasure!

Finally it came🎉🎉
👍
What could be reasons that sometimes the connection via RS485 work and sometimes not? We have this issue even on RUT955 and 956

@@TeltonikaNetworks Okay. Thanks for the reply. 🙂
if I have public IP in my RUT-R950 and I can add it in my RMS, how to use to access my PLC remotely?
Do add your device to RMS, public IP is not required. And for the how to do it part check our video ua-cam.com/video/J3HSM2LP-k0/v-deo.html
