I live ten minutes from this neighborhood. Always love driving along the Lakeshore. The houses are beautiful but the trees and views of Lake Ontario really make it special.

All of the housing & properties in the whole Canada are extremely beautiful and the life is so peaceful over here. Only sometimes thinking of Switzerland and Germany where I grown up.😇 Greetings from Vancouver B.C.
Lakeshore was my paper route as a kid and quite a few of these homes weren’t even standing when I had it back in the 1980’s to early 1990’s. There were a lot of old 1940’s to 1960’s small homes where these mansions now sit. I believe there was even a couple of war time houses too on my route which are gone now. I miss those days with the old houses, the stories they could have told, as I had a couple of WW2 vets, and was lucky to have 1 WW1 vet on my route. One if I remember was a pilot in WW2, but the WW1 vet sadly had the worst job as he was one of the ones who had to deliver *THE Message* to families that they lost a loved one during WW1.
My dad was a.vet and grew up on Englewood Drive. It was a beautiful house then when I saw it in the 70s..It was taken down and the old Tudor style gone and replaced with a modern home. I still would prefer to see the beauty of the past..an amazing paper route you had all of those years. And yes so many stories behind the walls.
