Yes Chester P came up in the UK Hip Hop scene competing in freestyle off the dome battles against the finest UK freestyle battle MC's in the game at the time. When Chester was battling it was totally different compared to don't flop for example as it was off the dome and nobody would dare use pre-written verses
Instant like, this album/ep is so heavy. If you think how many year's ago this came out and not many people have or can ever get close to this level with there lyrics. It has taken me a long time to get this on wax that was not butchered & not cost £70+.
The dj they were with for a long time was Louis slipperz. They released 3 albums called £10 bag part 1 ect . Many features and Farma g has done his £10 bag 1 and 2 so far. I'm lucky enough to have them all but defo worth a look as the farma one's are on bandcamp or wax. ( I've got both) the Harry shotta tune is banging
By the way, I'm pretty sure I suggested years ago for you to check out Task Force's live performance of Battlecats with Louis Slippers. I doubt I'm the only 1 though. It's not obvious to find but if you look for "Live Task Force Chester P Farmer G Louis Slippers" it'll come up

Braintax - Biro Funk (full album) features on there from Task Force, Mystro, Jehst, Skinnyman, Harry Love productions and some very interesting beats/concepts/story telling elements.
Regardless of rumour and noise it’s a stone cold classic Uk album that has a place (in my opinion) towards the top of the ladder.
Would enjoy seeing your reaction to that album (I liked the Escuchame reaction, thought you broke it down well)
