Ted Karagis joined me at my local range with his Archimedes equipped Xylo chassis custom rifle. Ted is the owner and designer at American Rifle company. We dive into what makes this action revolutionary as well as every detail that was carefully considered when putting the action together. The action is the most feature rich action available on the market from its lever driven primary extraction to the R700 footprint, swappable bolt faces, locking cams machined into the receiver as well as toroidal bolt lug interfaces for a better contact surface defeating misaligned bolt to reciever fitment. 3 lug bolt head with controlled round feed and inertial controlled ejection. The bolt is machined +/-.001” for prefit barrel compatibility. It accepts R700 patterned triggers and has a swappable scope base and integral recoil lug.
