As a sader fan, how classy are the blues looking, most composed side they've had in years. Solid. Equally how good is it to see Aussie rugby making a comeback, they've always had the quality individuals but they are starting to make it work and get some confidence back, great for the game.

When the reds scored back to back tries you can see the Blues never panicked. They knew they had the experience to win the game. This was a good game to watch though. I have to say Super Rugby is competitive this year

Watching this from the Northern hemisphere I cannot work out why the stadiums are always empty. Class to watch
Suncorps Stadium has around 55 000 seats. The stand opposite to the cameras was half empty but the grand stand was nearly full. So I guess there was nearly a 20 000 crowd. That's not bad. It's a bigger crowd than the Premiership's ones.
It's really not that hard to figure out. New Zealand for example is the same size as the UK. But where the UK has 67 million people, NZ has less than 6. And a third of that live in Auckland. Wales and England combined is roughly the same size as the South Island of NZ. But those two countries have 60 million and the South Island has 1 million. We build our stadiums a bit bigger for the ABs and other events but also play super rugby and NPC at the same venues as we don't have the capacity to build tons of differennt sized venues for different things. But it's ok, there's no way we would want the population density of Europe just so we could have full stadiums for super rugby. You can easily find yourself alone in absolutely stunning places in NZ ;) all the best this year for the northern teams
Also fun fact, there was a time when the human population of NZ was 1 million and the sheep population was 70 million. The UK govt guaranteed to buy as much wool as we could produce at guaranteed prices so the settlers built one big sheep farm.

@@ratumelimatanatoto2488 yeah good point, we have the population to fill them but there's way more competition for entertainment now and playing the games at night also makes it harder. There are tons of entertainment options up north as well but with a large population they can still get good numbers and have smaller stadiums to fill for club rugby. But there were still 20 odd thousand at this match, just in a large stadium. A decent crowd at a NZ match probably has more people per capita at it than a decent crowd in the north actually.
