Congratulations for your Tank and for this video. The Tank looks fantastic on your wrist! I also really like the way you share your thought process and your shopping experience. Entering a luxury shop can be intimidating, especially if it is such a fine brand like Cartier with those broad shouldered safety guards in front of the door. But after all it is not only the super rich who enter those stores but people like you and me who saved up some of their hard earned money to spend on a piece they really desire. In my experience most of the sales people in luxury shops are aware of that. The people I met were all very polite and tried to make my shopping experience as pleasant as possible. Also not everyone spends thousands of Dollars or Euros when purchasing something there. The things I bought from Cartier until last year were "only" cufflinks. They were expensive compared to other brands but on the lower price end in Cartiers lineup. That didn't prevent their sales ladies to treat me very welcome. Which is one of the reasons I went there more than once. Wrapping your purchased piece up like a gift is another thing which makes the shopping experience so special. During the past few months though I had the idea of rewarding myself with a nice watch, my previous watch purchase dating back to 2009. So I went to Cartier, told them that I was interested in a Tank, preferrably the Francaise and the Americaine. I also made clear that I am at the beginning of my evaluating process and will not buy a watch at that day. The sales guy was perfectly fine with that, showed me the Americaine in medium size and the Francaise in large size and took his time for me. I spent more than half an hour there and left the boutique without a new watch but with a clear preference in what I was going to buy later. Last week I finally picked up the Tank Americaine in medium size and again it was such a pleasant and memorable experience being there and fulfilling one of my dreams.
Thank you for sharing. I'm planning to purchase a Cartier soon and have been considering the Tank or Francaise. I believe once I see it on my wrist the decision will be easier to make. Thank you again. ☺
Thanks for making such an informative video. The watch looks so beautiful on you! I'm stuck between the Francaise and the Must, so hearing why you went with the Must makes me think I might end up with the same one since we have the same wrist size. Congrats on your watch!
Thanks so much for sharing your thought process! I totally understand what you went through. I was set about the panthere medium model for 8 months now after watching your video I am very into Tank must. I wish they did a two-tone though haha
Hello, thank you for sharing your experience. I am looking at the Tank Must watch as well. What movement is the best to get? I think the Tank Must is only quartz movement? If I am not mistaken? I do not know much about watches, this will be my first. Thank you~
I adore the Tank Must. It’s definitely on my wish list. I have a Rolex datejust and am getting a breitling chronomat soon-Cartier is next on my list. I’ll probably stop at 3. Just want a little collection and these three are all lifetime pieces that I can pass down to my 3 daughters.❤ This one looks gorgeous on you. Enjoy! Are you still loving it?
Such a beautiful watch ❤ I actually just purchased the same, only with a leather band, and I absolutely love it. May I ask, in one of your trip photos in this video, you’re wearing a pair of sunglasses. Where are they from?
Great review, and it looks really good on you, I am gonna go for this model as well, Cartier is one of the brands that I wouldnt mind getting a quartz.
That is a gorgeous watch on you. Very impressed with the criteria you weighed. Great decision. I was in Honolulu last week and went to Cartier and Chanel. My experience was opposite of yours. The Chanel SA was wonderful and so friendly and relaxed. I got a medium classic flap in light beige caviar with silver hardware. Still on cloud 9 about that. Then I went to Cartier and they squeezed me in because I did not have an appointment. They were kind of cool, but not rude at all. I was, like you, looking for the Tank Francaise or Panthere except in gold. My wrists are a skinny five and a half inch circumference. They did not have a gold Francaise, and the Panthere did not have numerals, so I passed. Was for the best, because I probably would have a heart attack spending $30,000 in one day. Haha. Subbed. 🌸
Great Video❤ it looks stunning on ur wrist. Have u tried on the large size as well? It was so indecisive for me between two sizes but finally i went for small one too
Is that the small one? It doesn't look "small" on you wrist, it looks perfect. I'm thinking of getting it for my sister and the small looks good. PS: "wrist circumference" :)
Congratulations! Beautiful watch. I just checked Cartier online and most of the Tank watches are now with the leather 😮band, your watch is not available for sale any longer. Sucks
Hello! Is it from a Cartier shop in printemps? I’m planning to purchase a watch but I’m also scared of the standalone cartier boutiques at Champs-Élysées et Place Vendôme.😅
Thank you for sharing this! I’m also looking for my first luxury watch and also considering Cartier. So many similar thoughts! Francaise or Must or Panthiere? Will the person at the shop also be kind and not too pushy or salesy? (Esp I get socially anxious..) Recently went to Longines last week and had a little pushy experience from the sales association ate when I said I didn’t want a watch after all, it made me feel so embarrassed and defensive 🥲 Idk - but your watch looks great and I will take your tip about standing up to take a look as well. Thanks!
thats really rude of them, ive been to many watch sales people and they were very kind and accomodating despite me telling them from the start im just having a look
Thats really unfortunate - so sorry you had that kind of experience! From my experience it really depends on the person you get and they are by no means a representation of the brand, so if you are willing, keep trying :) I've had polarizing experiences at Chanel before in the same appointment even!

I went for the Francaise in the end ☺
Congratulations, a beautiful piece and it was so nice to hear about the wonderful customer service.
Thank you, I’m so happy with it! Really didn’t expect how customer service can change the shopping experience ☺️ thanks for watching

Really nice and classic timepiece. It fits you perfect. Congratulations.
Can you please do an update on wear and tear? ❤

Thank you! Your 3 watches sound like the perfect collection. Yes, I’m still very much loving mine and wear it pretty much every day!
@@Nachopad Thanks! Good to know! I’m going to look at it in store and see sizes this weekend. I’m excited. Hoping to purchase within the year.

Where did you get your ring? Love this watch! ❤
Thanks! The silver one I’m assuming you’re asking about was an anni gift but there’s a very similar one on Mejuri :)

Ha it really depends on the person you get I suppose! But congratulations on your medium classic flap!!! :D
@@Nachopad agree. And thank you.
Congratulation, the watch looks good on you. Love your video.

Thank you! Yes I did - it was beautiful but definitely overwhelmed my wrist a bit, great choice with the small!
@@Nachopad I wish they have M size lol.
Thanks for sharing…. Love this watch. May I ask how much? I will be in Italy in 2 weeks, just curious the price in euros. Thx.
loved this overview! Do you wear this watch 24x7 (in the shower and washing dishes)? Just wondering if I would have to take it off constantly!
Thank you! No, I just wear it when out - not when showering/lounging at home :)
Is that the small one? It doesn't look "small" on you wrist, it looks perfect. I'm thinking of getting it for my sister and the small looks good. PS: "wrist circumference" :)
Yes its the small one! Thanks - so excited for your sister!
I’ve a Cartier Tank Must (Small) available below Retail price in UK. Brand New.
What is the dimensions? It looks great on you!
Congratulations! Beautiful watch.

Congrats and wear in good health

Hey! Yes - in Printemps :) same here haha but highly recommend the Printemps locations - less intimidating and more fun
@@Nachopad will check that out tomorrow. Thank you very much :-)
Sizes?
Please becareful wearing your watch in London. A lot of people are getting mugged/having their watches stolen off their wrists.
Definitely! On high alert always. Thanks for watching
Oh no! Im sure it would be regretful for the thief to lose his life over a watch🔫
For that price you should get the leather strap included.
👍🇩🇪
