✧ Amount of Yarn for Each Strand at 1:00
E.g. Double strand B cup needs 100x2=200m, single strand C cup needs 125m, triple strand A cup needs 75x3=225m, etc.
✧ Meter or Gram?
Using METER instead of gram, as a unit to determine the amount of yarn, is the closest to being accurate, and applicable to all yarn categories (you can always find meter info on the yarn label).
Meanwhile using gram would be kinda risky, because with the same amount of grams you may get more or less yarn depending on the types of material (e.g. Cotton yarn is heavier than acrylic. So with 50gr of No. 4 cotton you'll get about 80 meters BUT with 50gr of No. 4 acrylic you'll get at least 100 meters).
✧ How to Check the Gauge?
With the chosen yarn and hook size:
• Make a swatch of 10 Dc sts by 4 rows.
• Measure how many sts were in 2 inches and how many rows in 2 inches, note down.
• Compare your note to the given gauge at 2:10

Tr = Treble Crochet; Sc = Single Crochet; Sl-st = Slip Stitch; rep = repeat; Sk = skip stitch

Unfortunately this is an intermediate crochet pattern which requires sufficient amount of experience around 🧶yarn, hook sizes as well as crochet basics. it would be quite troublesome with grading cup sizes if I try to make a tutorial for beginners 😭😭😭

hi ❤ I suggest you used No.5 Bulky yarn with the 5 or 5.5mm hook, and follow the pattern of D cup after that you can try the cup on as suggested at 10:00 and then if you need further extension for the seam you can do it at 19:34 😉

Cup question: I have a fairly small bust, I comfortably wear S and some M sizes in bras that don’t use cup sizing and I don’t often wear bras. I measured for my cup size and I was told on several calculating sites I found that I’m a D cup. Will this pattern align with standard bra sizing calculators or should I opt for a C cup just to be safe?
hii there, the straps & wings of this bra is adjustable upon wearing so I think it is safe to say you can go for a C cup. It will like a 1/2 cup bra style if you get the size corret, but you can also go for bigger cup if you want more coverage ;)
How does one wear an a cup and then get a d cup answer ? 😅
I measured myself and apparently I was a D cup too when I wear a Small size in regular swimsuits for example. I made a C cup because I was skeptical, but it was WAAAAY to big, so I gave it another try and I made a B cup and that worked.

@@ABoCStudio bien ya tejí el primero y queda muy pero muy lindo!!! Tuve un problema que me hizo contar y leer y leer el esquema tratando de entenderlo a pesar de que no sé inglés... Y que pena pero el problema radica en que tu te equivocaste en el total de puntos de la vuelta 4 en la que das un total de 22 puntos en donde realmente quedan 24 puntos... 🤦♀️
Entiendo que te resulta difícil traducir las instrucciones en pantalla 🥲 en la fila 4, aumentamos solo 4 puntos, por lo tanto deben ser 22, no 24. (porque la fila 3 tiene 18 puntos, y después de aumentar 4 puntos en la fila 4: 18 +4=24).

what do i change for a bigger cup size than D?
Hii💓To customize the cup and adjust the size accordingly to your crochet tension and the material that you use, there are a few ways and best to combine them:
1. Adjust gauge, follow the given gauge and the suggestion at (2:10).
2. Add/take-away Hdc rows demonstrated at (10:10).
3. Top/bottom edging at (19:37).
The triple strand looks nice but must be a pain to work with 😅
Hehe 🤣 there may be a bit too much “turning”. But I figured that if you reversed the turn (flipping back n forth, instead of flipping 1 way) there will be no twisting hence easier to handle (32:12) 💞
