It seems to be the same case as pvz 2 where the china counterpart has a lot more content but none of them are as polished as the old/og pvz 2.
@Toyfoxy-pe7rg on bedrock the modding capabilities are terrible the best bedrock addons are basically data packs so I'm guessing they couldn't make something as good as this

To be fair it's made by a completely different team who have different standards than Mojang and Microsoft. So everything new that they add is going to feel like an addon
