Looks cool but it's only retrievable when pulling out your primary tie in point too... I'd reckon in most cases when taking out the redirect you'd want to keep your primary in place.
I like the creativeness, but I wouldn't take the chance that the carabiner or ring getting stuck in a crotch. I'd just swing around the backside of the tree over the top of both those limbs and use a natural crotch redirect. It's not going to tear up the rope. Cool video though!
