Taz made a great video about "how to have the ultimate glow up" on her main channel (she uses the term "glow up" but it's not about looks). You *can* strive for a better life. Good luck mate

    I've been watching Taz for a really loooong time now, literal years and the way she is BEAMING with happiness right now is just so beautiful and touching. I literally cried on the part when she was explaining how she's been feeling lately :). For some reason the video made me really hopeful as well because HELL YEAH!!! the peace within yourself can bring so much comfort into your life it's just so amazing. Really made my day love you!

    Going through this period of my life where I’m unsure of where to go and feeling like an imposter. However, with these vlogs it makes me feel less alone in those thoughts and helps articulate the way I go about things. I love this channel and have adored this growth series which has brought so many strangers together! I’m trying to change bit by bit and these videos help bring that heightened sense all the way down. It pushes me and I’m sure many others, so thank you for that❤

    1:14 - quick/easy vegetable hack i learned from kylie dietitian here on yt is, add a veggie/fruit to your meal. so ill add a tomato (whole literally bc i cant be bothered w prep) to my chicken rice. or i have energy to prep sliced cucumbers, i add that to every meal it makes sense with

    I suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder/Winter blues too and i really believe that us brown folk are affected worse by it. Our ancestors for hundreds of generations didn't live in the cold and dark and when we do now, it causes a bit of dissonance in our bodies. I've taken bupropion for the past year to combat it and it has really helped! Also making sure you've got enough vitamin D really helps too! WE GOT THIS.

    Keep the body active and you'll have better winter than blue winter. Go do Pilate, friends available,go for tennis, bouldering, if no one there, take yourself on solo date, learn something, make something new like you made candle. Attend some workshops. Schedule these things in advance. And keep Sunday a cozy Indore say for yourself. Hope it helps. I know it's easy to fall into the blue, conscious efforts is what has changed for you and continue to do so. ❤

      My only issue is leaving my home, I get major chills and since I work from home, it happens very often. Not sure what to do to force myself out

    I have a friend who moved to Canada a few years ago and she got pretty depressed in winter bc of lack of sunlight. She started to take vitamin d supplement and it worked well for her. Love from Portugal 🇵🇹😘

    Heeey Taz 🌞 really good to see you thrive. My tip for winter is to take vitamin D. The body can naturally produce it in summer but in the dark months, when we don’t see the sun and it is not as powerful as in the summer, the body can’t produce vitamin D. So we have to substitute it.
    I live in Germany and started taking it after not seeing the sun for 10 days straight. Hope it helps 🤗

    I've been watching your videos for a long time and hearing you say it was going to be OK because you went through a lot made me stop for a second. I am recovering from a burnout that really affected my health and made me feel miserable. It's now been 6 months and I'm feeling so much better, but I still struggle to feel joy and excitement. You sharing that it suddenly hit you how happy you were feeling about simply existing made me really emotional. It gives me hope that I'll get there too, sooner or later. Thank you for sharing your journey and being real. Your videos make my day everytime ❤

    ah shit, i don't usually comment on videos but this video made me cry. Taz, i'm so proud of you and just watching the first few clips made me tear up. Seeing you grow as a person online has been such a delightful journey. I don't usually feel like this but you made me feel like i'm watching a big sister of mine telling me hey i went through same things and you saw me through them and look i feel happy. and it just gives us the hope and the desire to feel the same. Because of your videos and how much i relate to you, i have been trying to find the calmness in me too, rather respond than react to my surrounding and i was reading this book called The overthinking cure by Nick Trenton and he says the same things. But yeah, thank you for being you and sharing parts of your life to the world so people like me feel okay and not alone.

    My only effective tips are : adjust ur sleep to wake up early so u have time to chill then go out to catch the majority of the sun light. And take vitamin d capsules and magnesium. They helped me a lot

    I know it can be hard to adjust to and it doesn't always work for everyone's schedule, but I find that waking up very early and going to bed early helps me a lot, especially in the winter. Trying to hold on to each bit of light that I can! I've also started doing a bit more in depth cozy nighttime routine to help my body relax and heal which is great for the cold weather as well. I take 15-30 minute epsom salt baths each night before bed and spend time reading or meditating and sometimes stretch or foam roll afterwards. Finding things that heal me and make me feel cozy and warm in the winter are my go to for keeping my spirits up and my body healthy :)

    Tips to help your body/mind in dark weather:
    - go outside at noon, so you can catch some brighter daylight
    - get an adjustable desk light, i.e. Philips hue, whet it gets dark outside at 4, you turn it on a bright setting, when it's later, like 8, you can choose a more subtle, warmer tone

    Just gotta keep focusing on things that bring fulfillment because a lot of other things are only a band-aid until you have that in your life. I'd also add that vlogging about being introspective probably isn't actively good or better than not doing that, but obv it's a vlog channel, so...

    It's totally silly but I find it helps. Get a heating lamp and get your self in something comfy and summery and sit in front of it and zen out with your eyes closed and meditate. For me it resembles the warm summer sun and I feel like it just gives you the happy head chemicals.... or I am a salamander LMAO

    Three quick tips for dealing with the winter mood: 1) taking vitamin d and maybe other vitamins, 2) getting up early and going for a morning walk despite the weather, 3) using a daylight lamp especially in the first half of the day.

    Vitamin D supplements to combat the winter blues! I kinda hate that it's so simple but it has helped me, so much so that it feels odd to be happy this time of year!

    Buy frozen vegetables and microwave them. Fresh veg tastes better but you'll get the fiber and nutritional benefits anyway you eat them. Canned, fresh, frozen, jarred... doesn't matter they're all good for you. The microwave is the best and fastest steamer of veggies.

    Yes I had a general feeling of peace yesterday in the midst of a very hectic week. I was so grateful for it. Like you said when you have inner peace it doesn’t matter what else is happening.
