Thank you so much. Life gave me many twists the last two years. Tough ones. I've relocated, now home, new position... I have a whole new crop of milkweed to get started on in my new yard. Thank you for the encouragement. I'll be grinding forward on all of it. Teaching, Monarchs, skating, etc. I'm very excited for Spring and Summer!
I am sorry to hear you have experienced something terrible Rich. I learned a lot from you with regard to raising Monarchs. While I disagree with your use of a critter keeper as well as hanging them high above the ground in your screened in porch, your tutorials have been crucial in my journey to help Save the Monarchs. It has also helped me share with others. I know you are a brilliant man; a fool couldn't teach chemistry. I also know a lot of people look up to you. I just wish you would wear a helmet while skateboarding. I have cared for someone with a traumatic brain injury from skateboarding without a helmet. Please consider leading by example and make helmet wearing a cool thing to do. It could save another family from going through a tragedy like I have witnessed. God bless you and stay safe.
Mr Lund, I would love to mail you some OE free eggs when your winter is over. Spring migration is in full swing here on the coast in TX, 5 days total over 300 eggs. Released 500+ OE free last year because of your teachings.
I might be the wrong person to ask, as I don't care too much about heaviness. I suppose, it's really still a "to each their own" situation with skaters. I know plenty that are very very specific about the size and shape and brand of what they skate. I myself care about trucks (Independent, and I'm not skating anything else, dag nabbit) but that's about it. I'll skate any deck. I wasn't always like that. I wanted a 7.75" width popsicle stick shaped deck, or no dice. Then, Mike V's company Street Plant was putting out so many different shapes and sizes of decks, I had to give them a shot. (I'm unofficially in love with Mike V, so there was no way I wasn't ordering some of his stuff.) Through riding Street Plant's different shapes and sizes, I found a new wave of fun with it. I try to give many shapes and sizes a go. All that said, one thing about the old school fish boards is that if you go into primo (deck is sideways, and you stand on the trucks) the board's shape isn't flush with the trucks, so it's tough to get the primo stand steady. I do some stuff with primo, so for that reason, I definitely prefer a popsicle stick shape to my deck, but it's not a deal breaker. How's that for a long winded answer? Thanks for checking this out!
Glad to see you still doing your thing. I've raised a lot of Monarch's because of you. Keep on grinding...we need educators now more than ever.

Ready for some DBF soon!
Having moved, dust is still settling. Likely DTF continues in the summer. But yes, it shall continue.
Question. I use to skate in the 80s..Do you guys that skate now like to use the old boards ? Like Santa Cruz, Vision or they just to heavy?
Agree having the same question from Lund's perspective. Having more grinding to do either way on my Lucero X1 and x2. Great compilation Mr. Lund!

Thank you kindly! The question was answered. I hope that answer satisfies, but am certainly open to follow ups.
