Of course I use Serum, Diva, Nexus and other go to synths BUT for oldschool trance I always open the good old Sylenth 1.
Somehow Sylenth1 sounds like classic 90s Roland synths like JP8000

You can use Nexus 2 for the Piano and basses as well for Euro Dance. Loads of older rompler sounds in there(I think they also have a Eurodance pack). I've been getting back into the OG Vanguard as well

Spire is old? I'm still using Massive lol. To this day I can't find a legitimate replacement for the scream filter. Serum's scream clone is nowhere near the same.
