Darrin, I have been a pellet smoker since Father’s Day and your videos and recipes are by far my best resource for information. Thanks for the time you put into these videos to make us amateurs better smokers. You have also made me a Sucklebuster fan for life. Thanks again and keep them coming!
Hey Rob! Congrats on your pellet smoking venture! I'm so glad to hear you enjoy the videos, it is my pleasure! I love cooking and I love helping people learn, so it's a win win! I'm also so glad to hear you enjoy SuckleBusters! Thank you SO much for your support and reach out anytime!
I bought Weber Smokefire Ex6 weeks ago and did my first baby ribs today. I decided to use your instructions and they turned out fantastic. Mine were a bit bigger so i did them 2h, 15 minutes on grill and then 2h in foil with butter and Weber sauce. Thank you for this video.
Good video, I have been using a EX4 for approx 5 months. Excellent results also, all cookers have quirks this one is no different. The grease fire thing can happen on all grills, I do bacon quite often without drip trays on purpose ,no problems. I had a pitboss 820 for about a year it worked fine, the smoke flavor was light. I sold the pitboss and picked up the weber been very happy with the taste it produces. The ability to do high temp cooks is great, but i have to watch the hopper for cavitating. Thanks for giving the smokefire a chance, glad I found your channel.
Hey Paul, thanks so much for the comment! Man, I'm really digging the SmokeFire so far! I am looking forward to getting a greasy long cook on it and see how it does. I am so glad to hear yours has been doing well for you! Thank you for watching and thanks for the information!
I’ve done several briskets on mine. All you need is to place a thin aluminum pan underneath the grates. Work perfect every time and best part is no need to clean up afterwards.
Great lookin cook man! Simple, effective. I really like the idea of using the wrap juices as a simple “sauce”. Great techniques all around. Your channel is becoming one of my new favorites.
Looks great man!! I've been doing your comp ribs on the Pitboss for a while now. Everyone i've shared them with have absolutely loved them. I'll give the 275 a shot next time! Putting them on for a few minutes before the sauce seems brilliant. thanks for all the great videos
Hey brother, glad to hear everyone has enjoyed them, that’s awesome! Great job! And yessir, let’s then dry out a bit is an awesome move IMO. Thanks for watching, I really appreciate it!
great video great grille it produces great smoke flavour I have the ex4 and love it never had that grease fire you mentioned and I consider it a mote point because grease fires can happen on any grille at high temps, however your videos are good and your food looks great I wish I could taste it yummmm keep up the good work
Y'all makin me jealous with that Texas Rib Grind Rub by Chicken Fried.... gonna have to get some of that. 💯 Excellent looking ribs as always, Darrin. I am still a pellet lurker but this is great info here on the smoke fire for sure my friend. Keep up the great work! 👌
Those look absolutely beautiful, I have a pellet smoker and did see some videos that cook at 225 F, they took forever and seemed a little dry, even with spraying, I am gonna go to 275 F cook to color, then wrap, at 225 mine still looked raw after 2 hrs, thanks for doing the work for us.
Great video! Thank you. So the bugs have been worked out of the smoke fire? I was so keen when I saw the product the first time, then I read the reviews……
Thanks brother! And oh no! I still love the 1600. I just got a few new cookers I’ll be featuring over the next few months! The 1600 will always be in my collection, it’s a beast!

Awesome cook 👌 👏 😋
Thank you so much!
Great looking slab!
Thank you, Rob!
He's fabulous - I'm subscribing!
Delicious looking ribs. I never been a big Weber fan but this cooker looks interesting, where's the stack? Great work Darrin, enjoy your weekend.
Hey Mark! No stack on this one, if you check out the burn in video I show ya that it’s vented! I’m a big big Weber fan, and this has been nice so far!

Looks so good!
They were tasty for sure my dude!
This worked perfectly.
Awesome!
Great video! Thank you. So the bugs have been worked out of the smoke fire? I was so keen when I saw the product the first time, then I read the reviews……
Hey Mark, so far so good! I have had zero issues with it thus far!
@@AshKickinBBQ Thank you Sir! I see one in my near future… 🍻
Have you done any more cooks with the Weber?
I did a prime rib video on it that’s up
What kind of pellets do you recommend besides the weber pellets?
Cookin’ pellets. I don’t use Weber pellets
Thanks for the video. I may have missed it, but what pellets were you burning? Thanks again!
I can't remember if I said it or not, usually I'm burning Cookin' Pellets.
Where can I find that spray bottle you use? I seem to get the cheap ones I use clogged immediately.
Hey brother, I added a link to it in the description of the video for ya!
bought a weber smokefire yesterday. guess what im doing tomorrow 😃
Awesome!!
Curious did you use the smoke boost option for the first hour of the cook?
No sir I did not
@@AshKickinBBQ Thanks I was curious as to how effective that was. I suppose it would best to check it on larger cuts like a Butt or Brisket.
Will this work well with baby back?
I cook baby backs a little different. I will have a video coming out on those soon!
Awesome job! Glad you’re enjoying the Weber!! Are you retiring the PitBoss 1600?
Thanks brother! And oh no! I still love the 1600. I just got a few new cookers I’ll be featuring over the next few months! The 1600 will always be in my collection, it’s a beast!
So 300 deg or 275 if we're scared. Got it.
What are your overall thoughts of the EX6? What is your favorite pellet smoker?
I've really enjoyed it, as far as the second part of your question, I'll have a comparison video coming out soon!
