- Aventurine looks very powerful to me. After testing, I think he will be an absolute monster sustain unit that can carry ANYONE through most content in the game. I also would love to test out a powerful shielding unit, because I've never really built Gepard

Aventurine is the reason i started hsr after playing genshin from launch. Incredible character design both visually and mechanically. Its astonishing that a shield character looks so fine in a game

Why is nobody talking about how Aventurine's LC debuffs the enemies during his follow-ups, which gives Acheron a stack for her ult?
Yes, but does it re-apply the debuff EVERY TIME he does his FUA? or only first hit? 💀
If it doesn't reapply debuffs - stick with 4* trend LC
@ayacca we can see him through the Creator Test Server, IWinToLose posted half an hour ago, it looks like it reapplies the vulnerability every single FUA
@@ayaccai saw the LC description and it doesn't state anywhere it applies once or twice. This means the debuff applies on every follow up attacks lasting for 2 turns of the enemy. There is no way they make a 5* LC and make it bad like that.

This character might buff yanqing. Because yanqing does a follow-up attack and gives aventurine stacks to his follow-up attacks. And constantly providing shields so yanqing doesn't lose his follow-up attacks. And since he can freeze easy and it's a debuff, he can work with raito or another unit. So maybe yanqing might get some time to shine.

His sig LC is cracked. Highest base def for a light cone. Highest def% given at S1. This def bonuses makes it easier for him to reach the 4k def threshold. Gives massive crit dmg to make him a good sub-dps. Gives a dmg vulnerability debuff on his FUA, good for Ratio and Acheron team. It's super worth it imo, it makes Aven a great sustain/subdps/support/debuffer in one unit
Absolutely. I'm going to have around 160 pulls by the time he comes around, maybe a few more. I'm guaranteed him, but if I win my 50/50 I'm going for that light cone too. Super strong.

Not that worth it if you plan to make him a shield bot. His damage is just not worth it even at s1. So trend gives you almost the same def boost while giving more debuffs for Acheron or Ratio
Im gonna enjoy using him with Topaz and Ratio
Even characters that aren't centred around followups can still benefit so much like Kafka for example, her followup isn't central to her kit but using aven on her team could make it so easy to keep shields up

I’m tempted to pull for Adventurine because I somehow got two of Gepards light cone
I'm definitely planning on pulling for Aventurine. Currently at low pity after losing 50/50 on Luocha for Clara (which I'll take, new unit for me who will fit well with Aven). So I'm at least guaranteed. Currently have about 35 Premium Tickets & 15k Stellar Jade, so I should be good.
Question will be is if I'll be lucky to get Jingliu as well. Will depend on how the 50/50 goes for me when pulling for her

I"m pretty sure Aventurine's damage scales off his DEF stat, so he might actually be a really good sub-dps/sustain. and that makes his sig LC way better

So good to be f2p and have been able to got acheron and her lc plus a crazy pela e6, a ruan mei with her lc and black swan too by the way( and it's far from over for the 5 stars 😭). The damages are just wow, i obliterate practically all the ressources i could farm and i kill the game too. This is where i see how the game can be generous with us f2p

I realize you are a mihoyo bot account and u get paid to lie to players so they waste their money on mid to bad products but less keep it real for a second.
You don't want to use Landau's on him. No defense boost at all and he's already got aggro from being preservation. Dmg reduction does basically nothing for him.
he is looking really good. There are so many f2p LC options for him. You could go Trend for Acheron, the new 4 star MoC shop LC for damage, Landau's to maximize taunt and shield refresh, Gepard's lc if you dont have someone to use it on. it would all depend on the player how they want to play their Aventurine. Not to mention that he can increase his crit stats so you can build him as a sub-dps for fun

He gains 2 stacks on his shield whenever he gets hit so he refresh and fua quick, he has higher DEF so his shield wont break easily even if he takes the whole enemy team’s damage allowing your squishy units to save their shield for aoe attacks, then gets energy at the same time. I dont get it when it works well for Gepard, who he powercreeps, but not for him
@@Borovski213 You place him in the 2 or 3 slot to maximize chances of him getting hit, which i see no CC mentioning. You want to stack as much defense as possible to get the CR buff and to do that you need 4k defense, not having at least 24% from a lightcone is going to make that brutally difficult.
Landau's works great with Fu Xuan because it makes it more likely for her to get hit and increase her already insane dmg mitigation. Getting attacks redirected towards her limits the amount of sustain needed to heal other teammates from her ultimate.
Bottom line it's his worst option among 4* other than Wildfire. Ideally, Gepard's lightcone, This is me, Day 1 of my new life or Trend of universal market will be pretty solid for him if you don't go for signature.
@@nikonFB1988 but you dont NEED to get the full crit rate buff since you dont expect him to do crazy damage in the first place. Its just icing on the cake. His primary role is to protect your units. Adding to what you said, Landau’s on position 2 and 3 will make sure that he gets focused by the enemies and proc the passive faster. Therefore, Landau’s is still good on him

E1 Acheron isn't that good of a stopping point unless you're really down bad for crit rate. Better to get Aventurine

@@runaway1635 pull for sustain since you need 2 for MoC. Aventurine also has really good synergy with Acheron since you can give him trend and his ultimate is a debuff

Yeah, no. Even if u make him a Main DPS he still needs some supports which probably won't help much, and most that activate his DMG (Follow Up) is from characters who does FUA, that's pretty much almost all DPS... Making your effort a bit wasted since u could have invested in a team that's good and functioning than to one character.

I really want to go for Aventurine but I'm starting to not see the point like they're not making any hard content at all. I already have Fu Xuan and HuoHuo and Luocha with e5 Gepard. Is there any point in going for more Sustain or Harmony? Acheron alone changed my perspective nothing feels challenging anymore.
In terms of meta, you don’t need to pull for him because you already have all the other sustains in the game. But if you like him as a character or enjoy his playstyle, then go for it.
It’s not like you’re forced to go Acheron. Mess around and make different teams. Yeah, you may not do the most dmg, but it will be giga satisfying to see Aventurine, Dr Ratio, and Topaz constantly doing follow up attacks.
Considering i'm a new player with e0s1 acheron only, and around 100 pulls, should i go for aventurine or skip him
Depends, but he will be pretty good since he Stacks Defense up to 200% of his Skill, he also gives shield when entering battle (Passive Trace)
Many more is that he increases CDMG taken by an enemy on his Ult (which is a debuff to help on Acheron) he also gives 50% Res (Max) to all allies, which could help you survive lots of debuffs.
Like I said before, it depends but I think you should try your luck and see, if you can't get him then skip if you have no interest.
If you're interested with Boothill, get him he can apply Physical Weakness and Harmony TB can help him with insane DMG's + Bronya (if fu have her) what makes it more OP tho if u have Ruan Mei.
That's makes u have 2 OP DMG Dealers for the next few versions, tho I advise you get Sustain, Gallagher is good but needs E4, or any other 4* but they need their Eidolons.
Loucha for SP Positive whilst doing good heals, HouHou for Energy, DMG, and cleanse and lots of heal, but can be a bit SP Neutral or Negative sometimes.
If you're planning to main Acheron, he might be her best sustain yet. I'm certain he won't be a bad pull to your account, at least. But remember, you can still clear the game even with a 4* sustain.

Personally for me, I would wait to see if Fu Xuan is getting a rerun in 2.2. Aventurine and Fu Xuan are basically on the same level of being a really strong sustain unit. However, I do think Fu Xuan’s crit rate boost is more beneficial than Aventurine’s Crit Dmg boost.
If you find yourself struggling with sustaining from now until Fu Xuan’s rerun, then I would just try for Aventurine.

Aventurine will be better than Geopard 1000% so if you want a better sustain and like the character then yes. If you don’t like Aventurine then no.
