Loosen your drag off on the bullseye and you will find that the T1000 tip will behave itself 👍 The T900 is perfect for these sort of conditions and the reason I bought a couple to go with my T1000 and they will lift anything up those cliffs just the same as the T1000 👍
@@BigT73 I did have the drag loose mate it’s the way I always fish it was just stripping line like I had a tope on haha I agree the t9s are great for big sea top holds up great I just love the power on the t1 haha cheers for watching pal
I love big seas mate but the swells was slightly too big for Souter seems to do better there when it’s dying lazy roll I wish I hit ryhope but il be up north tonight cheers bud thanks for watching tight lines 🎣
Never fished the cliffs before, what reels would you recommend for it? To be honest I’m still using multipliers so would likely have a blast with my old penn 535 but looking to go to fixed spool and braid soon so after some ideas. Thank you
If you use a multiplier the 525 or 535 are both perfect for the cliffs and use 30lb mono on the 525 like daiwa tournament with a thinner diameter and use 40lb for the 535 over the rougher ground like souter in the video. Maybe try braid on your multiplier 80lb straight through it will pull the plug out no problem. The fixed spools we use are shimano like the XSD XSC BULLSEYE or any of the ultegras or saragosa 10,000 size and above to 14,000 loaded with 80 for rough ground but down as low as 25lb for the clean beaches with a 89lb shock leader 👍 There's lots of other makes like Penn but I can't comment on them as I've never used one but they also are reliable by all accounts 👍
Where’s those big cod mate😂
