IMHO, the 20mm rounds are not fast enough. They move at only 1000 meters per second. I think that a new round with the same 20mm projectile but moving at 1500 to 2000 meters per second would be far more effective in dealing with today's higher speed targets.

considering the actual range of a C-RAM is only a 1000 meters these are far in excess of that. also you need to cut the audio when the guns stop. I could still hear firing when no weapons were active. would think that ships attacking would not advertise themselves with flashing beacons . missiles are too expensive to be wasted like that. you'd need a simultaneous barrage of multiple missiles to try and overwhelm the shore batteries.
