My center piece ripping out of my evo10 was the exact reason I had to pull the trans and replace the clutch and put in an act monoloc in my evo10. Tried grabbing a gear one time and pulled the throw out bearing out of the pressure plate.
@@MiguelDsm Well the fact that it did it on the first attempt at doing any sort of speed shifting..i would say yes. And Its know to be an extremely weak system to retain that throw our bearing in the pressure plate.I wouldnt put any pull type clutch with out a monoloc in it.
get sooooommmeee. love watching u guys , enjoy having your crew. i miss those days. now everyone is spreadout and we dont get days like this anymore ..
Grateful for them man. Wouldn’t have been able to get this far without them. As far as everyone going their own ways, it’s true. If you stay involved in the car scene you just end up meeting new car friends. Some people are only their for a chapter in your life and there’s nothing wrong with that
oh and for the titanium bolts . get the thread and size and order them seperetely. i got all my hardware for engine mounts for like 100 bucks give or take.
Pretty cool. I enjoy how you include your mistakes in the videos. Its all part of a build. Things will go wrong. Most channels dont show it. Keep it up!
@@MiguelDsm it definitely does but it’s the journey that make it’s better. I taught myself everything about a car by building my 2g and now I’m out racing it and hopefully one day I’ll have it in the 10s. I’m hoping to have it at the shootout this year
Did you have the felt washers between the clutch fork and springs? Not sure how important they are but I read it was suggested to replace them when you do a clutch and have the transmission out.
Build it how you want it to be which takes time and Dem dollars I watch alot of automotive channels and there builds have taken a lot of time but we all still dem videos until its done we waiting mane
Almost there guys! Cop your 4G63 shirts and hoodies here:

@@MiguelDsm What clutch your going to run and what kind of flywheel too?! Oh happy for you, on your evo journey. You came a long ways 😄

Guess it happens more often than not. I always hear the monoloc is a must

We were considering the throw out bearing as well with it not being OEM. I guess welle see how it works out

It's coming along very good bro. Can't wait till it's done. Good video.
Almost there! Thanks for watching 🤙🏼
Man you’re so close!!! Coming out great!
W Jay bro he got so much knowledge.
Without a doubt. Dudes an Evo dictionary haha
@@MiguelDsm he leavin to come help me build my evo 😭
Pretty cool.

Crazy ive watched you awd swap the eclipse find and build a 3000gt vr4 and now rebuild the evo time flies man
It really does man. I appreciate you sticking along
Yessir Miguel i did the same on mine so i know how you feel after installing the engine
It’s almost like a little achievement and motivation 💪🏼
Yup I like to say little wins here and there
Oh yuhhh💪
Grab some popcorn 🤙🏼
That’s awesome man! I love seeing the content! It keeps me motivated to keep making my dsm nicer and better
It always just takes time man. Somehow things start coming together and next thing you know your dsm looks sick

Someday an evo 8 or 9 is on my list of cars I'd love to own but for now still going to play with my csms
Hmmm never thought about running stiff motor mounts and then soft one with the closest. Seems like a good idea 👍🏽
Just based off what I’ve heard from other Evo owners

I'm surprised you didn't decide to go with the twin organic ACT-MOD clutch. I wat to try that whenever my next clutch change comes
That was an option. This single disc was half the price and handles our power output just fine
@@MiguelDsm Gotcha. (It would probably twice the price after customs and import duties hit us here... lol)
Evo gang 🤘🏼
Where it’s at 🙌🏼
🍿 🥤
Right there with ya 🙌🏼
DREAM CAR!!
Looking really good!
BANGER video Miguel :D
Thanks! 🙌🏼
What Brand motor mounts are you running? And where do you get them from?
If you’re willing to part with the twin disc clutch I’ll take it off your hands 🙌🏾
should put the transfer in the hole before get the engine in haha now you will struggle getting the transfer in... anyway nice job dude =D
Welle deal with it later lol. It’s finally in
You got a link to that clutch?
Slowly coming around bruh 👌🏼
I hope that you guys caught this but at 10:12 the throw out bearing is backwards.
We sure did! Great eye. We flipped it once we noticed the fork would not move 🤣
@@MiguelDsm thank goodness! I was getting anxious just thinking about having to pull it back out for that. Haha
🔥
I thought it was one of those 20 min build compilation videos I got worried I missed all the videos 😅

Have to enjoy the little wins as well
Can’t believe u barely protected the motor from rain.
Oh I did. I had multiple tarps around it the whole time. Water still managed to get to it since it sat outside for quite a while
Roof peeling means you can go carbon roof😏
I like the way you think
I know it’s your car but you should consider a full exhaust and not a hood dump. 😅
We have one life and an Evo doesn’t need a full exhaust lol
Only reason ppl run action twin is cause they're sponsored by them and theyre trash for evos. Excited for the progress of yoyr build
Mitsubishi recommends not to resurface the flywheel
Why so?
So you're gonna run a hood exit exhaust, but are afraid of stiff rear mount? SMH
Turbo spool and fire out the hood vs a shaking dash? Yea I’ll take the hood dump over a stiff rear motor mount
Action clutch is trash lol they always blame the customer for not "breaking it in correctly" lol no other clutch needs to be broken except that trash
