I'd love to see more resistance treadmills like sledmill, sledtread, hiitmill, or sledtrack. Sleds are great but not every home gym owner has the space to push a sled, especially if they live in a city or an apartment.
Thanks for the in depth look at our dreadmill! We appreciate all the feedback as always. One day we will make you a dedicated bulgarian machine for you Adrian 😉
So now all these changes you guys are making what about everyone who bought the machine in its early stages do they now have to suffer and can’t have any of the upgrades????😮
This is all-in your best video so far Gluck! This looks less scripted, the humor is getting more natural feeling, excellent use of B roll, no wasted time in the video, seamless sponsor/promotions, good acknowledgments and really honest feedback to Bells -- You nailed it with this video. Also looking more lean! Keep it up! also -- I do agree that if Bells would make adjustable handles it would really be useful for those other lever-arm style exercises. I use my BOS Hydra lever arms more than I thought I would, and this would take the place of that potentially with better handle placement.
This is an interesting piece. Thanks for the review. I own the Xebex TRK-4000, which is pretty much a more basic version of this. I really like the ability to do carries with this BoS version. Thanks for the review Gluck!
If they sold a horizontal handle attachment that connects the two handles, this could also be used as a seated calf raise and maybe a belt squat. May need a little tinkering but I bet it could work. Of course none of those functions would be as good as if they were stand alone machines, but it would certainly increase its versatility and value for the price and footprint.
Good review I saw this and liked it for farmers carries and front/rear sled pulls without bulky sled. I'm with you and not likely to do any of the other exercises.
It looks like a very cool machine, and all the changes you suggested seem like they would be easy to do (like adjustable handles with knurling, I could see this be done easily enough).
If BOS could have the arms be separate attachments to bring the price/footprint down, that would be more ideal. My primary use would be walking/pushing and backwards walks. I like the build quality over the sledtread for sure.👍
After months of binging your videos I was finally able to show some love by using your link and coupon code to purchase the freak athlete Nordic hyper! Can’t wait for it to arrive. Keep up the great vids!
Great review and suggested improvements! I’d love to see an option to drop in taller handles so you could do sled pushes without having to lean over so much. I could definitely see myself pick up a version 2 or 3 of this.
I like what I see! I understand @BELLSOFSTEEL going for a more "polished product" design, but I think those lever arms could use the old 3x3 tubing. It might not look as pretty but it'd open a whole lot of handles and weight horns options for customizability. Maybe as an option in the future?
Thanks for the review! I've been wondering about this one for a few months now. I've been looking for some piece of steady state cardio, ideally walking or stairs that I can do for about 30 minutes at a time. Since versatility and space are my biggest concerns this looks like a pretty good option!
This machine looks interesting. The last gym I belonged to had a push sled that I loved using. It was so exhausting and I felt like I was getting my money's worth for the time I was spending. I refuse to go back to a commercial gym but would really like to have that at home. I looked at the curved treadmills that have magnetic resistance and they seem like the resistance option was an afterthought. And the Xebex XT4 looks interesting although I don't know what the neighbors would think of me pushing a contraption up and down the sidewalk. Maybe this would be good for me? I like that it folds up too.
The big issue that I have with this is that I don't do standing cardio, I use a stationary bike for the low impact. If they had a bike version of this I may be interested except that it would make more sense to just but rack attachments if I wanted to work off a pivot point. I can see value in the deadlifting ability here, as a strongman I do car deadlifts buuuut I think I'd be more likely to buy their Berserker Press and a landmine
Video Idea 💡 Since a lot has changed in the space I would love to see an endgame list of all the products you would buy to have for the rest of your life with no upgrades. Could maybe call out other UA-camrs and see who can create the best no budget build in terms of value. Feel free to add onto the list below: Rack Functional Trainer Plates Barbell Specialty Bars Storage Flooring Rack Attachments Adjustable Bench Flat Bench Dumbbells Collars Machines Etc.
Sprinting would be nice, but not a deal breaker. My biggest issue are the handles. I would like to see adjustable handles or articulating arm. I would also like to see band pegs, and I'm not sold on the horizontal placement of the weights.
I know you already did the rack mounted Fringe Sport Mammoth, but could you review the wall mounted? I have a super small gym, and if I were to attach one at full length to my rack, my but would almost be touching the wall.
Looks pretty great for what it does, but the price (even if fair) gives me pause. Have you looked into getting a review unit for The Tib Bar Guy's SledTred? That product I am very interested in, but am waiting for reviews from reliable sources such as yourself.
Please review the MAXUM Fitness SX2 and Force USA C10 (w/sliding bench) next!! They seem like the most innovative and feature packed all-in-one rack options on the market right now.
We want more cardio videos! Well, I don't want to actually DO the work. But the physics how, say, an ergometer ... measures work ... that could be cool.
The owner of Bells of Steel has promised to send me a free Dreadmill unit so I can do an official Beefcake Review. In my review I'll see how it handles 855 for max reps on incline press.
I'm sorry, this is just dumb. How about Bells innovates on some design ala what ATX is doing. They have three different belt squats all offering different functions at different price points.
I've mocked the Bells of Steel videos promoting this product so I guess I'll do it here to. This is a design that no one needs, wants or will use. Not sure why they wasted their time on this item and I guarantee they aren't selling them. These will be liquidated at some point just to get them out of the warehouse. Easily the dumbest release I've seen in the fitness world from a major manufacturer.
Your input guides what we review so what do you want to see reviewed?
looking forward to seeing the rogue functional trainer if you get the chance.
Peppins adjustable kettlebell/dumbells?
Pro Kettlebell?
I'd love to see more resistance treadmills like sledmill, sledtread, hiitmill, or sledtrack. Sleds are great but not every home gym owner has the space to push a sled, especially if they live in a city or an apartment.

Really easy way you could fix the grip of the handles is allow for a carabiner to clip on for a handle attachment for more versatility!
So now all these changes you guys are making what about everyone who bought the machine in its early stages do they now have to suffer and can’t have any of the upgrades????😮
@@FRIVZ306That's the risk with buying stuff..
The fear of the deck falling on your face while pressing adds an interesting element to your training! Nice.
Hahaha it locks in
The goat of garage gym reviews going over probably the craziest home gym contraption ive ever seen, this is gonna be GOOD! 🐐🔥
I know a few companies Bells could collaborate with to make those lever arms adjustable 😂. Nice review!
Those are great points. If the handles were adjustable and this thing could kinda double as a lever gym, I would buy it in a heartbeat

Have yet to watch but assuming you zonked it for not having neutral handles for walking curls.
Don't curl in the treadmill rack, brah.
That's fairly accurate 😂
Coop from GGR released a review of this piece today. I watch both of y’all, and can def say you’re review is way better imo. Well done!
Thanks. I put my everything into every review so I appreciate your kind words!

Dang, I could be so good at pushing the wheelbarrow around the yard. The whole neighbourhood will be greener than my lawn with envy!
😂 Exactly

A unique piece for sure. Thanks for the overview
You got over 50k. Congrats!
This looks super cool. love the farmer walks integration
More like, " World's most interesting and versatile gym equipment review channel". Well done.
Hahaha. Thank you!
It looks like a very cool machine, and all the changes you suggested seem like they would be easy to do (like adjustable handles with knurling, I could see this be done easily enough).
Wynie is pregnant? Congratulations!!
I thought she was on a transformation to lose all the weight?
Nah she just looks fat.
The thing is absolutely sweet and for what you get out of it, its price is comparable. Big fan.
If BOS could have the arms be separate attachments to bring the price/footprint down, that would be more ideal. My primary use would be walking/pushing and backwards walks. I like the build quality over the sledtread for sure.👍

Looks pretty awesome! Definitely on the short list
Interesting concept. Thorough review as usual mate. Just schhhhneaking in a little manta ray flex in there as well. Nice 🙂
Great review and suggested improvements! I’d love to see an option to drop in taller handles so you could do sled pushes without having to lean over so much. I could definitely see myself pick up a version 2 or 3 of this.
The width of handles would present a challenge to some. Interesting machine. Great review. 💪👍👏
Thanks 👍

I like the idea of expediting cardio so you can get back to lifting, only spending 10 minutes is a helpful addition to training in a week

could you please review Xebex sledtrac 5000?
Damn… now I want to buy a $2000+ piece of equipment I had zero interest in a few minutes ago. Well done on the review!

Seems like an awesome tool for the gym. Just don’t know how much I would use it. Great that is is a small foot print.
Best machine ever, but the carrys even if i love that variation its basically a wellbarow carry
I do a simple dumbbell, pull up bar calisthenics workout. And never gonna buy stuff. But watch all Gluck videos just for Dad jokes😂

Been waiting on this one
Hope you enjoyed the review!

I really like it wish I had more space in my home gym for it

Interesting little contraption
As far as micro sizing gym equipment it a great concept but the price is close to adding an additional room to your house
This thing is so weird that it’s awesome!
All they need to do for the handles is put them on a tube and make it a pop pin system. Couldn't be too long but it'd work
Did you try attaching something like angles 90 grips so you could pull them in and not be stuck where the handles are?
No but that's a smart idea
ah as you said, if only the handles were adjustable it would be such a great device!
If they would fix the width on these handles this machine would be 🧑🍳😘
Get low, drive those legs Gluck!
My guy were talking 50 exercises filmed in a day where I worked out before. I'm lucky to even be able to stand 😂
That price though... YEESH
We want more cardio videos!
Well, I don't want to actually DO the work. But the physics how, say, an ergometer ... measures work ... that could be cool.
Dose the VR video and now this. I'm gonna have to block you 😂
Yep!
The dreadmill? Is that kinda like the dreadlift bar?
if the track was longer and had a 0 resistance option would be a bit more attractive.
This thing would be DANGEROUS with 2.5x2.5 Jammer arms with 5/8ths holes.
"... Making you hate your life.". Accurate!
😁 My favorite comments are when people quote the jokes
If you use that thing only one quote comes to mind, Ivan Drago from Rocky IV… “if he dies, he dies”
Based and Gluck pilled

This is pretty interesting but I dont like the tread desk standing up like that.
I'm sorry, this is just dumb. How about Bells innovates on some design ala what ATX is doing. They have three different belt squats all offering different functions at different price points.
Why is it dumb?
The rep one that's in the works with air resistance seems better but it might be 3x the price who knows 😭
that thing looks evil. Like WTH!
it does anything and everything except function as a viable treadmill
it tries to accomplish too many things. i think it falls short on many of them.
If Gluck entered a race against his pregnant wife he would come in 3rd.

Funny how you guarantee the units aren’t selling but yet they sold out the first batch. No one asked for your uniformed opinion.
The made in China mill.
