I said to some guy that he was wasting his time spaming a Facebook group with racism cos no one was taking the bait troll. He responded with “not using a VPN I see” then started messaging me threats including my location. I’m hate people so much.

Its cause they wanna be relevant and think they're genuinely doing something or helping in some way. The only time this type of video is worth viewing and blowing up is if it is exposing an abuser, but doing all this for someone w a mesh mask... I doubt if they saw her in public they would say anything. I see so many people in public who dont wear their masks right or at all, the only time they get told something is when an employee somewhere says something, but it's never a stranger who's around them tbh..
@@selenarivas436 I’m chronically ill and have to have bimonthly labs, I was in the hospital waiting room, right past where they stop you at the door, screen you and then sanitize your hands and put a new mask on, and as we’re waiting, I watched a guy actually pull his mask down to sneeze into his hand and not a one said a thing. I’m a nurse, as well, and already had Covid, as it first hit, so I just live and let be, but I was pretty shocked how not even an employee commented.
Just goes to show how much virtue signaling goes on online and in media, just to get those “feel important” points.

All I see is someone scrolling through posts of what seems like a public figure (followers, et al) that clearly wanted these posts to be public.
To reset the mental map here, are Idubbbz's content cop videos stalking and doxing, and how are they different?
Anyway, the followers argument applies to any sort of public criticism, rather not go that route of "public figures can not criticize other public figures", and I don't think there's any chance of aggravating that by showing public posts that the harassers among her followers will find anyway.
@@TheCamps10 they're both public figures so this example I can agree with. But at the same time. I still don't exactly think this kind of behavior should be enabled/encouraged. Idubbbz also tended to go for critiquing their content and not a full blown personal attack about things unrelated to social media. This is a situation where when she had just reported her to the airline.. I agreed with it.. then she went full on shitty and made it a dangerous situation.
@Bel H you're confirming that instead of letting others live their lives you think you have some form of control over what people do. There's actually currently things being done to try to get mask mandates removed for some circumstances so clearly not everyone agrees with your opinion. I'm not saying to change your opinion because I respect how you feel. But don't expect others to conform to you especially if they aren't directly effecting you in the first place. She could have just reported her to the airlines and I wouldn't have anything to say because that's reasonable 🤷🏽♂️

For real. I panicked for a second, then breathed a sigh of relief when I realized I’m broke.
A couple things I want to say about this:
A few notes though before my opinions: When I use Caps, I use it the same way that I would use Italics. And before you respond, watch the entire video, just as I did. And also, if you disagree, that's okay, tell me why and we can have a civil conversation about it.
1. The entire reason she wore a mesh mask is to allow air flow, which makes the mask less effective, if effective at all. I see that as the same as not wearing a mask. And she did it KNOWING that was what she was doing. She KNEW that she wouldn't be allowed on the plane if she wasn't wearing a mask and deceived everyone (who though they were safe because she was wearing a mask) on that flight and endangered their health and safety.
2. I don't see Woman #2's video as doxing. The reason that I don't is because Woman #1's account was public (or else #2 wouldn't have been able to find it) and she willingly posted her name on her PUBLIC account. Doxing (to me anyway, not sure what the definition is) is when information is spread about someone that they didn't want spread. When you post something online (as she did) you want people to see it. Therefore I don't consider this doxing. #2 found information on #1 the same way that you do for your videos.
3. I don't see #2 as a Karen. She's pointing out shitty things that #1 did publicly and calling attention to it. It's the same exact thing we do for influencers all the time. If you do shitty things online, people are going to find it and you're going to get called out for it.
4. Lady #1 was not only telling people that she wasn't wearing a full mask (one that wasn't made of mesh) but she was telling them that that's okay. Like the "borrowing" trend a bit ago, it's dangerous to tell other people that doing this is okay because it directly effects others, who had nothing to do with it (the other people on the plane for instance)
5. The breach of contract thing, I do have a problem with. That isn't information that lady #1 would have posted on her account and #2 showing that, I do have an issue with. Also, bringing up a dead dog is just low. Also, just bringing up SUPER personal stuff like the daughter thing is low. That is fucked up. Public information is one thing but dragging up stuff like that is not okay.
6. I don't think that the airlines should be open in the first place. Just figured I'd put that in there.
7. Lady #2 being so "against doxing" is hypocritical at BEST.
Just to point out, the breach of contract papers were on Pacer. So they were court documents, which are publicly accessible. It's more indepth public research than your average FB user, but it's still public information.

Regardless if the information is public or not showing everything to viewers who you know would have the same opinion as you is a stupid/shitty thing to do. It doesn't take much brainpower to know that you viewer's will harass them and when you go through every negative thing about them your just generating more hate towards them. That's why ever other decent youtuber tries to get their viewers to not send hate towards them.
@@rejd24 There is absolutely something to be said for not pointing your viewers at someone. That is never okay. I agree that showing that kind of information to your audience would be mistake and that some things should be private but, I also think that people deserve to know the truth about bad behavior. Telling you audience about the toxic behavior of some else while making sure not to send them hate is the key (and a very hard thing to do). Had she said "she did this shitty thing and that's not okay but don't send any hate to her" I would have absolutely no problem with it. Her not saying "and don't send any hate to her" is very important and something she certainly should have done.
In short, I agree. She should have made it infinitely more clear not to send hate to Woman #1 and should have kept irrelevant/private things private. Showing an example of bad behavior is one thing but there has to be a line.

I totally agree with you that both of these people are insane. But CLOTH masks and MESH masks are very different. Most people wear cloth masks and they work fine as long as they have more than one layer, which most do. Mesh masks are completely useless. Please wear cloth masks if they’re multilayer and you don’t have medical masks. Love your videos, just wanted to point that out! 😊
Right, they are not meant to stop air/breath (or you wouldn't be able to breathe). They are meant to block moisture as in spittle that come out when you talk or sneeze. Mesh isn't going to block that.

i dont disagree too much with you, but there is a stark difference between cloth and mesh masks 😬 cloth masks, while less effective than the medical grade paper ones, are still significantly more effective than mesh. mesh is MADE to be breathable, its made for you to breath through, a mesh mask does absolutely nothing.

In the netherlands we have a standard mask we all need to wear, its a semi medical mask. Some people even wear full medical masks like teachers and docktors. You will NOT enter a store with a little selfmade cloth mask here or even with a bandana or uplifted tshirt.
Same in Australia. There was plenty of 'home made' ones for sale but they had to pass government guidelines. People want to comply, the ones trying to fight it were barely a handful.

And ye most countries agreed that masks weren't gonna help due to people not being consistant with the way to use them: touching them to adjust them etc will leave the bacteria on as the virus still comes onto the outside of the mask, just in smaller amounts. While cloth masks are the less effective of the masks, they do help. Because the covid virus travels on respiration droplets , it will still get caught in the weave of the fabric. That absolutely won't happen with a mesh mask. It's useless. So any fabric mask is more useful than a mesh one. While we should be using surgical masks or n95 masks as well as a cloth mask on top, to say that a cloth ask and the mesh mask are the same is not at all accurate.

The efficacy of cloth masks depends on materials and the number of layers. The t-shirt material ones are bad, but there are 4 layer cloth masks with filters in them that are good and even deal with air pollution coming in. Also, totally get vaccinated!

One issue Atozy, a cloth mask is not the same as a mesh mask, and it's not great to claim they are. There's a lot of misinformation and disinformation (the difference is intent if anyone's wondering) on masks online and it's obviously confusing a lot of people, so if there's anyone who still doesn't know (keep in mind I'm really simplifying things for clarity)!
We can divide masks into 3 general groups; two way barrier, one way barrier, large droplet barrier (the following assumes there's a tight fit with no gaps and the mask is properly worn)
A two way barrier is made from very tightly woven fibres that prevent very tiny particles from passing through them. These are like N95s. They can protect the wearer from infection and stop the wearer from infecting others.
A one way barrier is a tightly woven material that prevents larger particles, it can't prevent the wearer from getting sick due to aerosols but it can prevent the wearer from spreading their illness to others for the most part. (Edit example being the non-surgical grade blue masks)
A large droplet barrier is not made from tightly woven fibres, you can see through them in the light, and they don't protect anyone from infection so much as they prevent the wearer from coughing/sneezing/etc. their saliva onto those around them. This minimises the risk of infecting others but can't prevent infection altogether. Please note that the CDC and every other agency in the world tells you to have at least 2 layers of cloth, not one. (Edit these are cloth masks, be it a bandana, etc)
Why isn't a mesh mask in there? Because it doesn't qualify. It's less effective than taping a single ply tissue to your face. It's not a mask. It doesn't prevent large droplets, in fact, you can just straight up spit on someone unimpeded while one is on your face.
So no, cloth is not the same as mesh. Cloth isn't going to do anything but prevent large droplets of bodily fluids from landing on someone's face, but it does do that, and thus is better than nothing. A mesh mask is literally nothing.

Cloth masks should be made from high-quality quilting cotton (tight weave) in multiple layers in order to be effective, not loose-weave T-shirt fabric or bandanas.

Doxing is super dangerous, you should look up at what happened to a young girl here in Australia, she got doxed for something she didn't even do (the person who they thought she was, lived in America). Had to drop out of school out of fear, couldn't even leave her own home, her family got death threats, even her grandparents.
