    We are so sure conditions like we live in are the only ones that can support life like we know it. I can't help but think that's a major mistake.

      I agree, the Methane lakes on Titan could produce life that is Liquid Methane based. We are for the most part water,H20. Somewhere else another liquid that maybe isn't a liquid on present day Earth could be driving life? Like Water,H20 drives us on Earth. Great point. 👍🏻🇺🇲

      I"m not going to pretend to be smart, but I think that the cells stuctures have to be stable enough for life forms to form with those cells, and not all elements are stable enough. Of course I"m probably over-simplifying and perhaps misunderstanding what I was seeing/hearing.

      Something I often ponder is, what if 'life' is not all there is. We think of life as being the Universe's ultimate creation. But perhaps its not, perhaps life is nothing too special.
      One may ask how can there be anything above being alive with the ability to understand one's existence?
      But that's because we can only go by what we know. We only know what we know.

      We loook for what we know as life , there could be infinitely type of life forms that doesn't exist on earth or this solar system . So looking for something you don't know and find nothing is not smart to find life , or how we know what life looks like .

    Kudos to the engineers that made the James Webb Telescope, so that we can watch videos likes this.
    I hope the search for new galaxies and stars never end even if we find life on another planet.
    Keep up with the great work!
    And also i believe there is much more than alien life out there, we just have to look closer.

    We found the planet from Subnautica. but any sentient life forms would have serious trouble leaving there planet and making early discoveries like fire or perhaps Metallurgy so rockets may be a issue and be far more difficult to leave there planet due to gravity and being underwater where they would be a gravity would not be a issue down there

  • @Sarconthewolf
    @Sarconthewolf 6 місяців тому +5

    My theory is there is no dark matter. We just don't understand gravity that well. Plus there is dust and atoms we just can't see, and more than we suspect.

    • @esecallum
      @esecallum 6 місяців тому +5

      Oh, dark matter, the cosmic clown that's had astronomers chuckling for a century, and there's still no sign of a punchline that makes sense. It's like they've been on an intergalactic wild goose chase for a hundred years, and all they've got to show for it is a bunch of cosmic whoopee cushions that keep deflating when they sit on them.
      Now, enter axions, the absurdity's absurdity. Astronomers, in their never-ending quest to turn the universe into a comedy show, have introduced these quirky particles into the cosmic script. It's as if they've decided to juggle flaming bowling pins while riding a unicycle on a tightrope that's on fire - you know, just to make the whole thing even more ridiculous.
      Picture this: Astronomers, with telescopes pointed at the void, staring blankly at the cosmic canvas, suddenly shout, "Dark matter, axions, and...um, other stuff, I guess?" as if they're naming random things from their grocery list and hoping it will magically make sense. It's like trying to play chess with a set of Scrabble tiles - chaotic and utterly incoherent.
      They've essentially turned the pursuit of knowledge into a century-long cosmic slapstick routine, where the punchline is eternally delayed, and dark matter is the banana peel that keeps astronomers slipping. Axions, in this carnival of chaos, are the cotton candy that's been flung into the crowd, sticking to everyone and making everything even stickier.
      So, here's to our persistent astronomers, who've transformed the cosmos into a never-ending cosmic stand-up show, with dark matter as the bumbling, pratfall-prone comedian. Keep the popcorn handy, folks; this spectacle of cosmic confusion shows no sign of a sensible ending anytime soon.

    If you follow basic evolution and the birth of life on earth, it all came from the seas and oceans. Even the simple plankton and protozoal ect. The question needs to be, what planets have water? In our solar system their are at least five planets or moons that are believed to have oceans although most would have frozen surfaces. The question then becomes, what about those below the permafrost? Let me call it the planets Aquasystem. We more than likely already have life and not too far away. Look toward Jupiter and its moons for the most prospects of this phenomenon.

    And the logic is simple
    Among Trillions of stars, there must be planets in some form or other
    The probability that same atmospheric scenarios which happened in earth must have occurred on many places
    But life compatibility may be in planets not on stars( which are not encountered frequently cox of huge distances.but consider in 200 years time what can be extent of progress science may made

    What's the purpose of seeking alien life that far away?
    Skeptically speaking, finding somewhat civilized alien 40 light yrs away, then what? When humans ever would obtain technology to travel faster than light, wormhole, etc, to communicate or visit? How about starting with our milkyway Galaxy or Andromeda?

    JWST sits at Lagrange Point 2, and always needs to keep the sun shield pointing at the sun, so how in the hell did it manage to look at Earth?
    Something doesn't sound right here !!

    If the brightest star in the known universe (125,000 x brighter then the Sun) is named Godzilla! What would the Sun be named; the Daisy star? Named after Doris Day of course, whom was a lady daisy if ever there was.

    I think we are the aliens…. We can look at galaxies that are 60 million years ago right…. So what’s there to say that life from another planet in a far galaxy isn’t looking at us as we could be the past ourselfs.

    Um, no. They have not found life on another planet. Just signatures of life. But nothing defendant. Why are we so concerned about finding life lightyears away when we have potential life right in our neighborhood? We have Titan, Europa and Enceladus. We have the technology to go to these moons and find out if life exists there. So why don't we do it?

    Dimethyl sulfide COULD also be present> What? Did I just get clickbaited at 3:32 if so, 1.69 million people aren't paying attention. May be more to this but I just clicked to "not recommend" this channel. Don't have time for nonsense.
