The James Webb Space Telescope has been operational for less than two years, but it has already made very good progress.
Researchers have just revealed the full power of the James Webb Space Telescope, and you’ll be shocked to discover just how powerful mankind's latest invention is. Not only that, but it might have just found life on another planet.
So just how powerful is the James Webb Telescope, and has it finally found life on a distant exoplanet?
Get ready to discover this and much more!

This channel has more sensationalized headlines than the National Enquirer
Yes, and, I, for one, am considering file 13 for it
If the headline asks a question, you can guarantee the answer is going to be "no."
Yea I think it's time to unsub.
"aliens land on White House lawn"
Then it's 29.55 mins about James webb
Channel muted/blocked
When I was a kid- yes I'm ancient but still fascinated- they still thought Mars had canals- now I can see the surface of Mars on my TV - the rovers and Webb are the glories of cosmology and astronomy- great to see this
We are so sure conditions like we live in are the only ones that can support life like we know it. I can't help but think that's a major mistake.
I’m certain there are millions of thriving celestial communities of sea shrimp that have the mental capacity to happily conduct the two fundamentals of life without giving a damn about The End.
I agree, the Methane lakes on Titan could produce life that is Liquid Methane based. We are for the most part water,H20. Somewhere else another liquid that maybe isn't a liquid on present day Earth could be driving life? Like Water,H20 drives us on Earth. Great point. 👍🏻🇺🇲
I"m not going to pretend to be smart, but I think that the cells stuctures have to be stable enough for life forms to form with those cells, and not all elements are stable enough. Of course I"m probably over-simplifying and perhaps misunderstanding what I was seeing/hearing.
Something I often ponder is, what if 'life' is not all there is. We think of life as being the Universe's ultimate creation. But perhaps its not, perhaps life is nothing too special.
One may ask how can there be anything above being alive with the ability to understand one's existence?
But that's because we can only go by what we know. We only know what we know.
We loook for what we know as life , there could be infinitely type of life forms that doesn't exist on earth or this solar system . So looking for something you don't know and find nothing is not smart to find life , or how we know what life looks like .
JWST, I Remember wondering it it would happen in my lifetime? I just turned 41. I remember there was extreme stalling, the date kept getting pushed back? I can't believe Hubble is still functioning. The "UNIVERSE" is so interesting! 👍🏻🇺🇲
Yes jwst failed a number of its tests, including its sail breaking. Its a miracle they got it up there.
Kudos to the engineers that made the James Webb Telescope, so that we can watch videos likes this.
I hope the search for new galaxies and stars never end even if we find life on another planet.
Keep up with the great work!
And also i believe there is much more than alien life out there, we just have to look closer.
Yes, Kudos to the one singular engineer that designed, built and launched it. Congrats to them, a single person. Amazing.
Ok, time for the first generational ship.
I didn't know a star named Godzilla existed. That's pretty cool.
Just think how small we are in this univers.
Speak for yourself. 😂🤪
Yes
We are so small that it’s we are just like a new born infant learning
@@tristanwhalenvtaller than any microorganism
Smol.
Is it so incredibly hard to detect life from another planets? I think they would no tell us, if they manage to find another civilization some day.
Thanks for the video! Very interesting!
Your videos have ignited a passion for science and the mysteries of the universe within me. Thank you for being such an incredible source of inspiration.
Our universe is just ridiculously insane. Thank goodness for the James Webb.
Agreed, though I think our universe needs a psychiatrist, not the James Webb.
Now finally ive aquired the micro to the macro overstamding example . When is the Carl Sagan goin up?
We are a single grain of sand in a star ocean.
It's intriguing to think what else the JWST may show us next, and how we measly humans may or may not interpret it. All I know is I'm glad to be alive in such a time, where we find one answer and are left with 20 new questions.
Cheers!
You can only imagine what kinda life is out there, and as many galaxies the telescope can see... just imagine how many more it can't ,I imagine different realms of the entire universe the further it goes and how different it could be 🤷🏽♂️
Dude, dust, wind
I been waiting years now for James Webb to find life !
I believe the JWST will discover more. The JWST must zoom into planetary system to get the information on the their atmosphere clear to us Humans
Well let us know when they can confirm
IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER!!!
You've gotta be joking! - How's an 80 y.o. fart like me going to make a useful guess about alien lifeforms ..? I can still remember being sent out to the road in London to collect the milkman's horses's droppinng for Dad's flower beds in the '50's.
Your channel is definitely the best
We got life on other planets before gta 6
Haha🤣
That telescope is seriously, seriously, seriously powerful and with highly advanced technology attached while floating in space at extreme speeds thru treacherous elements 😮...!!! :)
This channel is gangster af 😁👍. Yall dont come out with 47 videos a day like Voyager lol but you guys got quality.
This whole premise is; assumption that other life uses radio signals to communicate. I beg to differ. My guess is energy waves rather radio
I love it when I see a title like this and the poster starts putting up stock footage of pizza being cooked
Love it! Great job 👏🏾
It will be fascinating if we find another intelligent life in other planet!!
Awesome. Learning is fun
good feel for the urban world 🌎
You are correct but the actual content falls short of the titles used to draw us in to watch.
100% Yes....here on planet earth the 'wants' shall always remain infinite.
120 LIGHT YEARS AWAY------ so far is this. We may find intelligent life somewhere over other planets---- but visiting there will be problematic. But if we just get the photographs of such an alien intelligent life---- just a photograph of such life will be so great.
They exactly know what people want to see and hear, so they just do the same thing over and over again, and it works😂
This channel has more stories than Walt Disney
From 10,000 to 2,500,000 is a crazy range.
We found the planet from Subnautica. but any sentient life forms would have serious trouble leaving there planet and making early discoveries like fire or perhaps Metallurgy so rockets may be a issue and be far more difficult to leave there planet due to gravity and being underwater where they would be a gravity would not be a issue down there
My theory is there is no dark matter. We just don't understand gravity that well. Plus there is dust and atoms we just can't see, and more than we suspect.
Oh, dark matter, the cosmic clown that's had astronomers chuckling for a century, and there's still no sign of a punchline that makes sense. It's like they've been on an intergalactic wild goose chase for a hundred years, and all they've got to show for it is a bunch of cosmic whoopee cushions that keep deflating when they sit on them.
Now, enter axions, the absurdity's absurdity. Astronomers, in their never-ending quest to turn the universe into a comedy show, have introduced these quirky particles into the cosmic script. It's as if they've decided to juggle flaming bowling pins while riding a unicycle on a tightrope that's on fire - you know, just to make the whole thing even more ridiculous.
Picture this: Astronomers, with telescopes pointed at the void, staring blankly at the cosmic canvas, suddenly shout, "Dark matter, axions, and...um, other stuff, I guess?" as if they're naming random things from their grocery list and hoping it will magically make sense. It's like trying to play chess with a set of Scrabble tiles - chaotic and utterly incoherent.
They've essentially turned the pursuit of knowledge into a century-long cosmic slapstick routine, where the punchline is eternally delayed, and dark matter is the banana peel that keeps astronomers slipping. Axions, in this carnival of chaos, are the cotton candy that's been flung into the crowd, sticking to everyone and making everything even stickier.
So, here's to our persistent astronomers, who've transformed the cosmos into a never-ending cosmic stand-up show, with dark matter as the bumbling, pratfall-prone comedian. Keep the popcorn handy, folks; this spectacle of cosmic confusion shows no sign of a sensible ending anytime soon.
@@esecallumget a life
They been looking for intelligent life in Westminster, but haven't found anything yet.
But, can these telescopes capture ghosts???😢😮 what if the neighbours we seek to find operate like ghosts and don't need any of the stuff we need to survive on earth on their planet???... I'm just asking though 😅
All fascinating stuff. But I believe there are things right here on earth , these exorbitant amounts of money would be better spent on.
Anyone catch that classic "S" on the whiteboard @ 7:32?
What if someone kid napped the telescope lol
i thought jwst was a typo lol
Если нам удастся найти жизнь на других планетах, то может быть опасно вступать с ними в контакт. А что если они такие же агрессивные как в фильме "День независимости"?🤔
It's life Jim, but not as we know it.
Not as we know it Jim!
I think that what they are actually seeing is pixy dust and fairy dust. Prove me wrong.
If you look very close, you can see a ball of gas, with a temperature of millions of degrees
Αυτό το πραγμα με τα επιστομονικά βιντεο που πρεπει να μαθω ολη την ιστορια για μια ειδηση ποσο με εκνευριζει....
Please tell them to flush human mind with humanity
Cool! 😀
If dark matter holds galaxies together then the space between galaxies where's there's no dark matter wouldn't this be down to gravity of black holes as to why the universe is expanding ?
My guess is, it’s very likely that there is life be on over planet as if we manage to get life on our planet. Then it’s very likely there’s another civilisation. Have you ever seen the entirety of the entire universe? It’s so big that there must be more life.
Godzilla 😮😮😮
I have a problem we keep a fact that if there water there will be some kind off a life but i have a theory that we keeping that fact is we came from water but what heppn if there life on other planets that don't have water
I am interested.
There is life in the universe that look down on us as miniature humans because some of them are so big that they are bigger than the earth
Purple Bacteria 🎉
We are so small in this universe that’s like a baby born and start learning! 😳🫣
There's life closer than u think
Earth gets discovered first for life ,before earthlings discover life abroad, besides who would let the public know if life's been
discovered and exists
What if Blackhole is actually a Portal between Dark matter Uni
No I think not.
Not at all you mean.
Thanks, saved me 18 minutes 🙏
After listening for 18 minutes to Mr. Kurzgesagt I can confirm, you’re right.
The telescope was designed to detect life signatures similar to earth 🙄🙄🙄
Sooo... its a guess over a guess based on a guess 😅
THEY R HERE!!!
If you follow basic evolution and the birth of life on earth, it all came from the seas and oceans. Even the simple plankton and protozoal ect. The question needs to be, what planets have water? In our solar system their are at least five planets or moons that are believed to have oceans although most would have frozen surfaces. The question then becomes, what about those below the permafrost? Let me call it the planets Aquasystem. We more than likely already have life and not too far away. Look toward Jupiter and its moons for the most prospects of this phenomenon.
Moonpie
More clues about the search for life on other planets!
From la grange 2 isn't earth covered by the moon?
Leave it there before it’s brought back n pops out our chest n brains like movie aliens
Is dark matter or dark energy only 27percent really???
Why don’t they ever look up or down why do they always look outward? 🤔
The point we don't believe in things unless we see them in real.
I have no doubt in my mind that extra terrestrial life is present in the universe.
And the logic is simple
Among Trillions of stars, there must be planets in some form or other
The probability that same atmospheric scenarios which happened in earth must have occurred on many places
But life compatibility may be in planets not on stars( which are not encountered frequently cox of huge distances.but consider in 200 years time what can be extent of progress science may made
Don't think we ever find out why we are here sometimes I think we live in a ballsack and wen we die we are born again cycle repeats 😂 millions little ones gotta live somewhere lol 😂
😅😅😅😅😅😅well information good show 😅
"It is He Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon; all (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course" (21:33). "The heavens, We have built them with power. And verily, We are expanding it" (51:47).
Summary: False title - it only talks about universe and life! Don't waste time!
I have heart those stories a million times before and it really get’s old pretty fast,if they will ever discover alien civelizations on other planets,it definitely will be breaking headline news.
I m here
This is why we won’t find alien life if we haven’t already. We think all life needs what we need. But it doesn’t we have organisms on earth that live in extreme conditions. So why can’t aliens
Aliens have been visiting earth since the dawn of mankind, but this is somehow "ground breaking". 🤭
i like the jwb
Perhaps dark matter life is everywhere and there's stuff going on all around us. Perhaps we are the anomaly...
🙏🙏🙏
non they would ever admit to or show us, we are only fed the info they want us to see.
It's always aliens in the title and nothing in actual video

I feel like I just watched an episode of the Big Bang Theory
We did it! We found ourselves! We suck!
What's the purpose of seeking alien life that far away?
Skeptically speaking, finding somewhat civilized alien 40 light yrs away, then what? When humans ever would obtain technology to travel faster than light, wormhole, etc, to communicate or visit? How about starting with our milkyway Galaxy or Andromeda?
wait huh
Hope they will find the heaven on there way up there
JWST sits at Lagrange Point 2, and always needs to keep the sun shield pointing at the sun, so how in the hell did it manage to look at Earth?
Something doesn't sound right here !!
👍
Extrateristrial
If the brightest star in the known universe (125,000 x brighter then the Sun) is named Godzilla! What would the Sun be named; the Daisy star? Named after Doris Day of course, whom was a lady daisy if ever there was.
cap
We never find anything
I think we are the aliens…. We can look at galaxies that are 60 million years ago right…. So what’s there to say that life from another planet in a far galaxy isn’t looking at us as we could be the past ourselfs.
The SCIENTISTS called cell is refourming frieza please stand up once more
JWST IS NOT A TELESCOPE but a observatory
Can you believe that wow
Um, no. They have not found life on another planet. Just signatures of life. But nothing defendant. Why are we so concerned about finding life lightyears away when we have potential life right in our neighborhood? We have Titan, Europa and Enceladus. We have the technology to go to these moons and find out if life exists there. So why don't we do it?
Dimethyl sulfide COULD also be present> What? Did I just get clickbaited at 3:32 if so, 1.69 million people aren't paying attention. May be more to this but I just clicked to "not recommend" this channel. Don't have time for nonsense.
