This could show that Revivebur doesn’t care about Ghostbur and views him as inferior to him. More to come soon.
(this is a more obvious point but eh) “satanic and chained up” can also relate to ghostbur being chained up in limbo, and not being in any sort of heavenly afterlife, instead stuck. as if it were hell.
@@NepheleFallen I more feel that Dream is Saint Bernard, since how Wilbur refers to him in the line of “Saint Bernard sits at the top of the driveway.” But I think it a cool angle seeing him as Saint Calvin. Dream could probably be both.
holy shit, I legit felt chills at 1:20 "There's really just one thing that we have in common, neither of us will be missed." HAUNTING. 1:38 with Dream flashing behind Tommy?? FUCKING AMAZING. It really show's how fucking horrified Tommy is knowing that Wilbur fucking sees Dream, his ABUSER, as his hero. The sinister tone of the entire song fits so well with Wilbur and his fucked up mental state so well, and the fear that Tommy feels. Jesus, I could go on and on but man, this is probably one of my fav animatics you've released yet!
“Make me love myself so that I might love you. Don’t make me a liar, ‘cause I swear to God, when I said it I thought it was true.” Even more accurate after Wilbur’s Hitting on 16 stream.
watching this 3 years later, I just realized something I didn't see before- When the song says "You always said how you love dogs" it shows dream behind him, reminding him of how he was treated in the wilderness with dream (treated like a dog). Can't believe I didn't notice that before
The way you draw Wilbur after he’s revived is so good aaaaa the way the white streak stands out so sharply is so striking. Also the reminder line as he looks down at the crater hits so hard. Just. All of it is so striking!
HEADCANON: When Wilbur died he was split into two parts. One part holding love, happiness, excitement, and just overall good emotions. And one was split into his fear, guilt, anger etc. One was made to suffer, while the other was made to thrive. That's why he has the white streak, a part of him is missing, drained from him. Meaning he will never be the same Wilbur, just known as the two parts. And only remembered as the worst, and never remembered as his best. Never remembered as his best because his best now sits alone, in a train station while the worst side that was built to suffer thrives in his place. The good part and the bad part will never make him whole again, but merely be two separate entities.
Finally, someone with the same idea as me! I like to think this happens to all of the dead after a certain time frame and Tommy was barely revived in time
The "I swear to god when i said it I thought it was true" is almost word for word that one part of the script. The "I have never lied to you tommy. I've been wrong but I've never lied to you"
The artist with an incredible taste in and feel for music strikes again! The way you use the music and especially the lyrics to tell the story in such a somehow abstract, multi-dimensional manner is insane; It is as if you make the song and its text your own, making it fit on a different, higher, inventive level! For example, right at the beginning, the singer, Lincoln, essentially calls himself a "fool". Since the focus lies on Wilbur for this animatic, Wilbur in this scenario, too, says he is a fool - and indeed, he is, because he made a mistake by throwing his life away, ending up in his own personal hell. But while he came to regret this particular decision dearly, he, interestingly, also acknowledges that otherwise he doesn't feel remorse for other life choices he made, least of all for blowing up L'Manberg. To Tommy that might not be an acceptable or understandable position, but Wilbur knows he "will always be" the same in terms of mentality and personality. It would also be possible to connect the image of a "spoiled little kid" to Tommy, since he is usually portrayed as a child, often patronized in a condescending manner by the adults of the server, including Wilbur. Wilbur, or rather, Alivebur, goes on, talking about what happens after his death, although it is ambiguous whether he's talking about himself or about Ghostbur. On one hand, "not joining their ranks" could be seen as a reference to him being alive again - unlike Schlatt or Mexican Dream who are stuck in the Afterlife, Alivebur is not, not anymore. On the other, it might also be referring to Ghostbur who has no place in the "ranks" of the living anymore. It would tie in fairly well with the image of Friend that the animatic shows at "holy and free". When Ghostbur was with Friend, he was usually happy and "free" from worry, and Friend, indeed, was "holy" to him. Ever since Ghostbur died, however, he's allowed neither the happiness nor freedom, but is instead "chained up" in Limbo. And Alivebur? He is convinced that "until the end that's how it'll be". Unlike Ghostbur, who was ready to sacrifice himself to bring the 'real' Wilbur back, Alivebur has no intention to save his counterpart, thus stressing the contrast between the "holy" nature of Ghostbur and his own "satanic" self, who, would most likely deserve to be "chained up" in hell rather than the sweet, innocent ghost. There's also a certain urgency and threat behind the way Alivebur delivers this message to Tommy, grabbing him by his scarf: As Tommy is the child, his little brother, so to say, he should shut up and obey already because that's how it always has been and "how it always will be", if it was up to Alivebur. But Alivebur let's Tommy go and holds his head in pain upon recalling his own misery. Ever since L'Manberg crumbled, Alivebur has had no love left for himself because he obsessed over his country instead of caring for himself; He's a wreck, and he knows it. Especially remembering his lonely time in Limbo pains him, and so he asks Tommy to stay with him, to "make him love himself so he can love him". And this, right here, is a genius use of the lyrics. Because while there's certainly truth in Alivebur's statement that he suffered a lot, this approach is also a deliberate attempt at emotional manipulation - Alivebur forces Tommy to remain by his side by stating that he is in need while he simultanously alludes to and underlines their brotherly bond. He knows how much Tommy still cares about him, knows that he sees him as family... And he knows how much Tommy craves his brotherly support and love. While pushing the idea that Tommy has the duty to help him, he also promises that he "can love" Tommy back as long Tommy cares for him and stays loyal to him, knowing fully well that this is secretly one of Tommy's biggest wishes. But Tommy, he doubts Alivebur, is quite untrusting. It leads Alivebur to snap at him, again; He tells Tommy to not "make him a liar" after Tommy calls their alleged loving, brotherly dynamic into question, telling him that "he thought it was true", or rather, real. Canonically this would probably fit in with their talk about whether or not they are actually 'brothers'. When Tommy laments that he thought they were brothers, Alivebur replies that they were, no questions asked. Back then, when they fought for L'Manberg and Pogtopia, Wilbur meant it when he called Tommy a brother and a friend, "when he said" these things to him, "he thought it was true" (or so he claims, at least). As implied by Alivebur's expression and body language, this is not a sweet sign of affection towards Tommy, but another hidden accusation meant to guilt-trip him: 'I loved you as a brother, so why didn't you do the same?' Alivebur continues to act cold towards Tommy, brushing him off by telling him that he was told "not to worry about him". It implies that Tommy was not important enough for the world to care about him, an idea he stresses by claiming that "there's only one thing they have in common" which is that "neither of them will be missed". And of course, Wilbur and Tommy were exiled together, of course they have both been dead, and these shared experiences fuel the narrative that Alivebur is spinning. In an effort to get Tommy under his control, Alivebur knowingly triggers Tommy's traumatic memories and fears, while making an effort to once again, underline their bond. He wants to make Tommy believe that they only have one another in this world, that Tommy needs Alivebur because otherwise he'll end up alone again, unloved and forgotten. And while Tommy does perhaps, indeed entertain the thought of wanting to go back to the good old times when he would trust Wilbur without question, he is shocked when Alivebur starts talking about "Saint Bernard". Because "Saint Bernard", in the narrative of the animatic, is Dream, and Alivebur praises him for being his "saint" that saved him and brought him back from hell. For Tommy however, Dream's name is only connected to fear, depression and bad memories - and the image of a "dog" can be interpreted in two different ways. Most people do "like dogs" because they seem to friendly creatures, and Dream posed as a friendly person until he showed his true colors and his metaphorical teeth. At the same time, one could say that Tommy followed Dream's orders like a "dog" while he was in exile - and when he didn't, Dream pulled on his leash and punished him. Tommy even thought he deserved it, at some point, which ties back to the feeling of helplessness Alivebur tries to make him feel in order to bind them together once more. But Tommy, despite being in distress, does not search solace in Alivebur's arms; No, instead, he takes a step back! Because Wilbur after all these years in Limbo has not become a better person in Tommy's eyes, scaring him even. He is dangerous, and Tommy, now more mature and better at understanding the gravity of situations, is aware that from now on, he must be careful; There's trouble, danger on the horizon. And Tommy watches Alivebur greet the sunrise with a smile, knowing fully well that the times of peace are over. Again, this is a wonderful animatic, a great metaphor for Tommy's and Alivebur's feelings and behavior during their first meeting after being revived; I'm starting to notice a pattern here! Nobody seems to use the song lyrics as creatively as you do and in combination with your art, your works gain such depth and narrative beauty, it's unbelievable. I'm excited to see what you'll put out in the future!
"dont call me a liar 'cause i swear to god , when i said it i thought it was true" ,, such a good lyric . i just think its ,, kinda rlly fitting for c!wilbur's character . during pogtopia , he was extremely paranoid and untrusting , thinking everyone was gonna betray him , except for tommy . he tried to convince tommy that tubbo is a traitor and is gonna rat them out , not because he wanted tommy to hurt , but because he genuinely thought that tubbo would . the people of his country drove him out and didnt help him , his son ended up helping schlatt (but in reality , fundy was gonna betray schlatt) , and - hell , even in the _beginning_ of the election , he tried to get schlatt to help , but he ended up making an opposing party . so why would he trust tubbo ? why would he trust _anyone_ else , other than the one stuck with him in this hell ? other than the one who stuck by his side through everything ? his paranoia grew to a severe extent , which caused him to convince himself that everyone was out to get him . everyone was against him , and they'll act upon it sooner or later , so why not act first ? why sit around , waiting for the (supposed) inevitable ? he wasnt going to take it lying down , and so he acted first , by rigging l'manburg and blowing it up to smithereens . he betrayed them , before they could betray him . he hurt them , before they could hurt him . he tried to convince tommy that everyone was after them , that tubbo was going to betray them , because he thought he was right . he thought he was helping tommy , by warning him and making him aware , which just ended up being manipulative . i dont think he was manipulative on purpose , at least not most of the time . (doesnt excuse his actions though ! poor tommy went thru so much shit bc of him and thats his fucking bad) c!wilbur's character isnt all about power and manipulation , isnt about being a villain . it was about a man who fucking _spiraled_ . it was about a man who was on top , who ruled a whole country and won independence , that fell from grace . he was climbing the ladder of success , trying to get help from others , to boost him higher , but they ended up pushing him down to fall . he caught himself in time , but his hands were left sweaty and shaky , legs wobbly and unstable , heart beating out of his ribcage . and when others offered to help ? well , he's not going to make the same fucking mistake again , so he refused . they kept offering , trying so hard to help a man clearly struggling , but it only ended up with his distrust growing stronger . at that point , he knew he wasnt gonna make it to the top . and he also (thought he) knew , that everyone on that gods-damned ladder , was going to push him when they had the chance . so he didnt let them . he shook the ladder with all his fucking might , causing the others to fumble and fall , dropping a bit lower down . he ended up falling to the bottom , to the hard floor , but he knew it would happen anyways . he accepted that fate when he shook the ladder . he fell , leaving all the others shaken and wide eyed . he blew his creation up to smithereens , leaving others to pick up and repair his mess with shaky hands . this turned into just a full on fuckin . metaphoric character analysis on c!wilbur but uhh . i just like his character a lot :))) its so complex and its annoying seeing people to just chalk it all up to him being an evil villain , when theres so much more to it than that - bc his character is fucking interesting . when i rewatched a clip or whatever of wilbur during the l'manburg revolution , i got fucking _whiplash_ from how different he was . anyways , my long as fuck comment is done now :))) hooray

Has anyone noticed that Wilbur actually ends up echoing the "Don't make me a liar, because I swear to God, when I said it I thought it was true" in his written lore?
Absolutely amazing, gonna go cry in the corner now This made me start thinking that Wilbur knows that he is absolutely terrible and hates himself for it, he feels the guilt and the pain of all of his past actions, but pushes it all down. Because all that he really knows now is how to be horrible. It's what people expect from him, and so he continues to do these things even when, in the back of his mind, he's screaming at himself for it. But he's comfortable in being the villain, and its almost a way to continue punishing himself. Probably not the point of the animation, but that's what I thought of.
I’m re watching this for the millionth time and I just noticed at the beginning when he steps forward 0:12 he steps on the beat, one like clap, one foot stepped forward, one like whatever it is, the clap, the second foot, that’s cool I just noticed it, this is why I re watch things to get the cool little things I missed:D
THE EXPRESSIONS! DUDE! You did so good showing the anger on Will's face. But then being able to go from that to a disappointed expression in one smooth transition? BEAUTIFUL! 💙💜💙
this is even more accurate at the moment because the “don’t make me a liar because i swear to god when i said it i thought i’d was true” is similar to “i have never lied to you” “if i truely believed it was the truth does that make me a liar?” from hitting on 16 amazing animatic tho, sorry i saw it so late 😅😅😅
I just had a flashback to when I saw a different animatic where the artist made it about when OG Wilbur first blew up L'manberg and sang this song to Schlatt. The deja vu is real-
1:00 It’s TRUE. He literally had a conversation with Tommy talking about how he’s never “lied” to him. He said what he thought was the truth. Details matter, people. Details matter. 😌
I keep coming back to rewatch this and each time I'm still blown away! The synchronization to the song and the expressions on Wilbur and Tommy are phenomenal! Definitely one of my favorite animatics to date!!
Something I just realized about these animatics you make: The appearances of Dream. If I’m correct he shows up twice in Good Grief. Once in the background of Good Grief and once in the scene where he kills Ghostbur. I’m 90% sure he doesn’t show up in Not Your Fault. He shows up in two frames of Saint Bernard. One where he is behind Tommy and one next to Wilbur. The first animatic of yours(after Soldier Poet King), The Old Days. Isn’t just a Dream animatic. It’s about his friendships and what they used to be. It is tragic and makes you feel sympathy for his character. I feel you’ve done that better than any artist. You really can drive home the emotions. (I wasn’t sure where to put this so I put it on your newest animatic, not including Passerin.)
I love this animatic because it shows that Wilbur is the villain he is today partially because of the events he went through and how he is not mentally stable and still dealing with guilt and anger
The end when his arm are outstretched and the red shadows off of Wilbur just hits different. I love this song and this animation made me love it even more. Oh and when Dream showed up behind Wilbur I could fell the horror in Tommy.
Oh, this is so well done! I was just thinking this morning how much this song suits c!Wilbur (a thought I've had since long before Wilbur was revived). And damn, even though there isn't a lot going on in this animatic - I mean, it's simply Wilbur talking to Tommy - it gave me *chills* . The facial expressions and body language are on point - Ghostbur crying alone in limbo at 0:44 absolutely broke my heart, Wilbur going from having a hand on Tommy's shoulder to grabbing Tommy by the bandanna at 0:47-0:51 got a JOLT out of me, and Tommy taking a step back and recoiling in fear at 1:40 absolutely crushed me. And that's not even getting into just how perfectly timed all of this is, or how perfect the application of the lyrics are, or the amazing visuals (I love the grey tones, and the moment when Dream blinked in and out of frame from behind Tommy towards the end gave me chills)...!! Like hot damn, this is really amazing!
I have an idea that they are both halves and empty husks of what they were once Ghostbur with rose tinted sunglasses he could not take off an revivebur wearing rose-tinted sunglasses that he could take off anytime he wants but does not want to see the truth

WAIT WAIT WHAT HAPPENED WITH DREAM
“Make me love myself so that I might love you. Don’t make me a liar, ‘cause I swear to God, when I said it I thought it was true.” Even more accurate after Wilbur’s Hitting on 16 stream.
that's what I was thinking
watching this 3 years later, I just realized something I didn't see before- When the song says "You always said how you love dogs" it shows dream behind him, reminding him of how he was treated in the wilderness with dream (treated like a dog). Can't believe I didn't notice that before
oh cool, I came back for nostalgia purposes but didn't expect to learn anything new. thanks mate
oh cool, came back for nostalgia purposes but didn't expect to learn anything new.
thanks mate
1:27 after what happened, this line becomes somewhat true😢
The way you draw Wilbur after he’s revived is so good aaaaa the way the white streak stands out so sharply is so striking. Also the reminder line as he looks down at the crater hits so hard. Just. All of it is so striking!
HEADCANON:
When Wilbur died he was split into two parts. The good part and the bad part will never make him whole again, but merely be two separate entities.
yes
and the good part was ghostbur... all that's left to fill Wilbur's revived and empty husk is the bad things. It's tragic.
Finally, someone with the same idea as me! I like to think this happens to all of the dead after a certain time frame and Tommy was barely revived in time
OHHH MY GOD. HOW ARE YOUR MUSIC CHOICES ALWAYS SO GOOD MAN AAAAAAAAAAA
yes
The "I swear to god when i said it I thought it was true" is almost word for word that one part of the script. The "I have never lied to you tommy. I've been wrong but I've never lied to you"
"Don't make me a liar because I swear to god, when I said it I thought it was true" damn that hit hard.. too relatable
The artist with an incredible taste in and feel for music strikes again!
The way you use the music and especially the lyrics to tell the story in such a somehow abstract, multi-dimensional manner is insane;
It is as if you make the song and its text your own, making it fit on a different, higher, inventive level!
There's also a certain urgency and threat behind the way Alivebur delivers this message to Tommy, grabbing him by his scarf:
As Tommy is the child, his little brother, so to say, he should shut up and obey already because that's how it always has been and "how it always will be", if it was up to Alivebur.
But Alivebur let's Tommy go and holds his head in pain upon recalling his own misery.
Ever since L'Manberg crumbled, Alivebur has had no love left for himself because he obsessed over his country instead of caring for himself;
He's a wreck, and he knows it.
It leads Alivebur to snap at him, again;
He tells Tommy to not "make him a liar" after Tommy calls their alleged loving, brotherly dynamic into question, telling him that "he thought it was true", or rather, real.
As implied by Alivebur's expression and body language, this is not a sweet sign of affection towards Tommy, but another hidden accusation meant to guilt-trip him:
'I loved you as a brother, so why didn't you do the same?'
Alivebur continues to act cold towards Tommy, brushing him off by telling him that he was told "not to worry about him".
But Tommy, despite being in distress, does not search solace in Alivebur's arms;
No, instead, he takes a step back!
Because Wilbur after all these years in Limbo has not become a better person in Tommy's eyes, scaring him even.
He is dangerous, and Tommy, now more mature and better at understanding the gravity of situations, is aware that from now on, he must be careful;
There's trouble, danger on the horizon.
And Tommy watches Alivebur greet the sunrise with a smile, knowing fully well that the times of peace are over.
Again, this is a wonderful animatic, a great metaphor for Tommy's and Alivebur's feelings and behavior during their first meeting after being revived;
I'm starting to notice a pattern here!
Nobody seems to use the song lyrics as creatively as you do and in combination with your art, your works gain such depth and narrative beauty, it's unbelievable.
I'm excited to see what you'll put out in the future!
heck! your analysis... this is exactly what I was thinking about when I was drawing it! TY TY TY TY I LOVE THIS SO MUCH
After reading this, it made the animatic a lot better for me, rewatching
dude this is AP english teacher levels of detail holy shit well done, amazing analysis!!!
Underrated comment!
Wow, now that's what I call an analysis.
This fits so much more with Revivebur going to Utah, symbolic as death.
"dont call me a liar 'cause i swear to god , when i said it i thought it was true"
,, such a good lyric . i just think its ,, kinda rlly fitting for c!wilbur's character .
during pogtopia , he was extremely paranoid and untrusting , thinking everyone was gonna betray him , except for tommy . he tried to convince tommy that tubbo is a traitor and is gonna rat them out , not because he wanted tommy to hurt , but because he genuinely thought that tubbo would . the people of his country drove him out and didnt help him , his son ended up helping schlatt (but in reality , fundy was gonna betray schlatt) , and - hell , even in the _beginning_ of the election , he tried to get schlatt to help , but he ended up making an opposing party . so why would he trust tubbo ? why would he trust _anyone_ else , other than the one stuck with him in this hell ? other than the one who stuck by his side through everything ? his paranoia grew to a severe extent , which caused him to convince himself that everyone was out to get him . everyone was against him , and they'll act upon it sooner or later , so why not act first ? why sit around , waiting for the (supposed) inevitable ? he wasnt going to take it lying down , and so he acted first , by rigging l'manburg and blowing it up to smithereens . he betrayed them , before they could betray him . he hurt them , before they could hurt him .
he tried to convince tommy that everyone was after them , that tubbo was going to betray them , because he thought he was right . he thought he was helping tommy , by warning him and making him aware , which just ended up being manipulative . i dont think he was manipulative on purpose , at least not most of the time . (doesnt excuse his actions though ! poor tommy went thru so much shit bc of him and thats his fucking bad)
c!wilbur's character isnt all about power and manipulation , isnt about being a villain . it was about a man who fucking _spiraled_ . it was about a man who was on top , who ruled a whole country and won independence , that fell from grace .
he was climbing the ladder of success , trying to get help from others , to boost him higher , but they ended up pushing him down to fall . he caught himself in time , but his hands were left sweaty and shaky , legs wobbly and unstable , heart beating out of his ribcage . and when others offered to help ? well , he's not going to make the same fucking mistake again , so he refused . they kept offering , trying so hard to help a man clearly struggling , but it only ended up with his distrust growing stronger . at that point , he knew he wasnt gonna make it to the top . and he also (thought he) knew , that everyone on that gods-damned ladder , was going to push him when they had the chance . so he didnt let them . he shook the ladder with all his fucking might , causing the others to fumble and fall , dropping a bit lower down . he ended up falling to the bottom , to the hard floor , but he knew it would happen anyways . he accepted that fate when he shook the ladder .
he fell , leaving all the others shaken and wide eyed .
he blew his creation up to smithereens , leaving others to pick up and repair his mess with shaky hands .
this turned into just a full on fuckin . metaphoric character analysis on c!wilbur but uhh . i just like his character a lot :))) its so complex and its annoying seeing people to just chalk it all up to him being an evil villain , when theres so much more to it than that - bc his character is fucking interesting . when i rewatched a clip or whatever of wilbur during the l'manburg revolution , i got fucking _whiplash_ from how different he was .
anyways , my long as fuck comment is done now :))) hooray
I love this I think you got c!Wilbur perfectly and you explained his mental state in Pogtopia the best way possible so it’s incredibly clear to understand
@@loganhadley-choy6677 aa thank you :) !!! i very much love his character so just analyzing the way he is/was (specifically and especially in pogtopia) is very fun n interesting , and being told that i described it perfectly is rlly rewarding ngl
glad its easy to understand despite the Many many words lol , rereading this a year later i realize i got Very poetic (?) near the end there LMAO
Wilbur singing to tommy "neither of us will be missed" hurts deeper when you remember how when Tommy died, Wilbur would tell him in limbo that the ruin and war on the server was caused by them, and that neither of them was good for the server
this is so cool the way it goes with the beat tickles my brain in just the right way and the perfect amount of angst
Dude, this animatic made me think of a real life situation going on with me right now and it kind of made me scared.
There are a couple videos and animations I would love to see in a movie theater, and this is definitely one of them
"This is my sunrise, Tommy!"
Yes, that is the sound of my heart shattering into a million pieces.
Even after two years this is still great :)
I interrupt the angst to say that Friend looks absolutely adorable
The music and the art everytime is just amazing👌
This is incredible mate!! I am in love with all of the little details you added! I especially love the flashback to pogtopia, showing Wilbur struggling and Tommy not really being able to do anything about it so he could only watch as his former mentor and brother figure went insane (characters obviously lol). Amazing work!
Has anyone noticed that Wilbur actually ends up echoing the "Don't make me a liar, because I swear to God, when I said it I thought it was true" in his written lore?
I always love it when both Wilbur and Tommy have the white streak in the hair I think it looks awesome
Wilbur at the very end: ASSUME THE "I'm about fuck up your entire day" POSITION!
*T-poses*
Absolutely amazing, gonna go cry in the corner now
This made me start thinking that Wilbur knows that he is absolutely terrible and hates himself for it, he feels the guilt and the pain of all of his past actions, but pushes it all down.
BEAUTIFUL! 💙💜💙
Never watchd dsmp but I've watched this video 20 times like this is what I think of when I think of this song (edit more like 100 times now)
bad timing friend
I actually love this song! This is going to be so epic!
Edit: I was right... I was so right! This was brilliant as always!
this is even more accurate at the moment because the “don’t make me a liar because i swear to god when i said it i thought i’d was true” is similar to “i have never lied to you” “if i truely believed it was the truth does that make me a liar?” from hitting on 16
amazing animatic tho, sorry i saw it so late 😅😅😅
i love the animation but can i just say OMG FRIEND IS SO ADORABLE THE LITTLE HEAD TILT!!!!!
I just had a flashback to when I saw a different animatic where the artist made it about when OG Wilbur first blew up L'manberg and sang this song to Schlatt. The deja vu is real-
1:00
It’s TRUE. He literally had a conversation with Tommy talking about how he’s never “lied” to him. He said what he thought was the truth. Details matter, people. Details matter. 😌
INCREDIBLE AS ALWAYS I GOT CHILLS AT THE “NEITHER OF US WILL BE MISSED” PART
GOSH I LOVE YOUR ART SO MUCH
I like how it was wil’s *Sunset* and not sunrise, as if all he would bring was darkness and sorrow Instead of a new light or chance.
"Don't make me a liar cause I swear to God, when I said it, I thought it was true" It got so much more accurate since Hitting on 16 this is so cool
(I wasn’t sure where to put this so I put it on your newest animatic, not including Passerin.)
the song matches me xd
but ngl i never thought that it would fit this well with tommy and wilbur
also good song xd im addicted to it
у меня нет слов. то как подобрана песня, то как вы изобразили все это… вы невероятно талантливы, я влюбился в проделанную работу.
Bro Wilbur’s facial expressions?! Amazing.
Here before the storm.
oooh boi I can't wait ;v; I already know this is gonna be great, also the song choice aaaaa
Wowwwww the first part where it was synced with the music got me
I love this animatic because it shows that Wilbur is the villain he is today partially because of the events he went through and how he is not mentally stable and still dealing with guilt and anger
I love this animation style so much
The end when his arm are outstretched and the red shadows off of Wilbur just hits different. I love this song and this animation made me love it even more. Oh and when Dream showed up behind Wilbur I could fell the horror in Tommy.
I don't even watch the whole Dream SMP thing but this animatic is just too good
Oh, this is so well done! I was just thinking this morning how much this song suits c!Wilbur (a thought I've had since long before Wilbur was revived). And damn, even though there isn't a lot going on in this animatic - I mean, it's simply Wilbur talking to Tommy - it gave me *chills* . The facial expressions and body language are on point -
Ghostbur crying alone in limbo at 0:44 absolutely broke my heart,
Wilbur going from having a hand on Tommy's shoulder to grabbing Tommy by the bandanna at 0:47-0:51 got a JOLT out of me,
and Tommy taking a step back and recoiling in fear at 1:40 absolutely crushed me.
Holy crap I love this so much!!! Wilburs lack of self love creating a lack of love for Tommy sounds so realistic and you portrayed the tension and fear so well
i am not crying, you are.
This is incredible :") the song fits really well and I love how on beat it is; you never miss
At 1:00 “don’t make me a liar cause I swear to god, when I said it I thought it was true” it’s different after Wilbur released hitting on 16
OH MY GOSH THE FLASHING OF DREAM BEHIND TOMMY AT 1:38 SHOWING HOW TOMMY WAS MANIPULATED BY DREAM INTO BEING HIS LAPDOG DURING HIS EXILE. IMIN PAIN HERE
I have rewatched this so many times; one of my favorite details is wilburs footsteps lining up with the beat at the begining
This was an amazing choice of songs, it fits perfectly! The part with Dream is my favorite. Amazing amazing job!
"St. Calvin" could be technoblade when he says "he told me not to worry about you he's got his own things to deal with"
1:33
I had my volume up almost all the way and had ear phones in.
🥲
newHVbwmauGs 2023, and barley watching it. I'm so sad that I haven't found this sooner , this might be on of the coolest damp animatic.
This is so amazing! the way you fit the song into the recent events of the smp is crazy! This song fits the lore with revivebur and Tommy
I love this, it really shows how as soon as he was revived, he just went right back to manipulating everyone he could
"How many times have you watched this?"
"...hung pictures of patron saints up on my wall..."
THE FOOTSTEPS ON BEAT AT THE START 😔👌
THE DROP WHEN DREAM APPEARS BEHIND WILBUR GAVE ME CHILLS
ooooohoho i’m feeling sooo many emotions rn
The implication that Wilbur’s afterlife was Ohio is sending me 0:43
This is literally traumatizing me, and I'm already traumatized
I know I’ll be coming back and rewatching this for years i can feel it
OH MY GOSH SAINT BERNARD IS SUCH A FITTING SONG FOR WILBUR
ONCE AGAIN YOUVE DONE AN AMAZING JOB ❤️
Literal goosebumps. This is incredible. Pogchamp!
0:11
Never thought I would say this.
But those feet... *they're beautiful.*
I swear to God this song scares the shit out of me everytime but I NEEDED to watch this ITS SO GOOOOOOD!
Woah, Perfect. I love that song and it's the first time I'm actually paying attention to the lyrics and its just woah, amazing animatic! I'm sorry if these comments are getting annoying cause I'm just binging all ur animatics now, they're just *chefs kiss*
Omg the music 😳💚 ( прекрасно как всегда))
0:52 - 1:00 WAS SO GOOD OH MY GOD
I'm using this for a skit competition on Saturday
Loved everything. How the song fit, the timing with the beats, the art style, the expressions. perfect
Oh my god, even if this is mostly in greyscale, I feel the values used are absolutely perfect to set the mood and this just looks so fantastic
I LOVE LINCOLN'S SONGS GOD DAMMIT
i have never noticed until now but the second voice towards the end of the song actually sounds like dream holy heck. this is the cherry on top of the amazing cake that is this animatic
OH GOD THIS IS SO AMAZING I HAVE NO WORDS AT ALL KIR ITS JUST SO AMAZING
I love this. I LOVE this. The way it tells the perfect story with no dialogue??? GHOSTBUR coming up so perfectly with the lyrics??? Show stopping. Spectacular. Incredible.
до чего же клевый стиль у вас, насмотреться не могу
this is so underrated. honestly this is just a masterpiece! I‘m shivering! 👏👏
Omg the music choice goes so well with revivebur
This is one of the very very few songs I've heard that doesn't have a chorus and it works perfectly. I love it.
THIS IS SO EPIC!! AHH FAVORITE ANIMATOR EVER
pore revivedbur, the voices he hears are the ones he fears, and tommy, also, i like the idea of them having a white/silver streak in there hair to show the change they went through when they were revived, and tommy, he looks scared. this sutes them well
How did I only just find this? This is amazing, and it hits so hard considering c!wilbur ACTUALLY SAYS THAT HES NOT A LIAR IF HE THOUGHT IT WAS TRUE. Either way, I love your art so much!
Loving the use of colour in this one
The expressions were so great! I don't think I've ever seen an animatic with such great faces if distain and anger. Also the timing and rhythm was perfect! 10/10 great job
The way the sheep looked at Tommy tho
