Always enjoy tarot/oracle collection videos. Thank you for sharing yours. Just want to comment on the Tree Tarot … one of the biggest surprises for me recently. The artwork is simply beautiful, and the readings it has given me are so spot on! One of my new favorites.
If you feel overwhelmed, put some decks away in a place (ehem box...es) where you don't see them all the time. For me it did wonders for my decks anxiety and now I don't want to get rid off decks just because they are not exactly right. :D But I don't keep decks I tested and didn't work well for me.
I have many decks and I appreciate them for many reasons. But, yes, I can keep a deck just because it's beautiful to me. I could not let go any of my tarots or oracles, I am happy to have many of them, with a lot of variety.
Great presentation! Thank you for sharing with us. I think you made some great choices to declutter, and I can sympathize with the overwhelming abundance of decks available to us now.
I love your collection and the way you trimmed the everyday witch tarot in yellow, I did videos about my collection but never did a video about the decks I no longer use, am inspired by you and might very well give it a try 🤔
Grand Tableau lenormand is more traditional and has key word poems on the cards. I found it was a great way to learn. You can also get a pack of playing cards that correspond and write keywords on that to practice:) I'm with you. I'm overwhelmed
I have the Light Seer’s and it’s one of my favorites, also the Everyday Witch is one I love using. The Wild Unknown I don’t use much. The Modern Witch Tarot I don’t like for the same reason as you. And the Tarot of the Divine I do like but I feel like buying the book because the explanation in the guide book is not enough. The Muse Tarot is not bad but I don’t connect with it as much as the Light Seer’s deck. For the oracles I have the Prism and Astro Code. You also had the Tea Leafs or am I wrong? I love Prism Color most because they are easy to work with and I get so many clear messages with it. Tea Leafs too but it’s difficult to find a good place for them and so they are in another cupboard so I don’t pick them up a lot. I do like them and they are great clarifiers but it’s just a lot of cards. Astro code cards are really great but like you I don’t know enough astrology yet to be able to work with them. The radiant Sun oracle is the same thing. I really need to work on it 😅 I want to add a Stacy Demarco to my collection but I am not sure yet if it will be Queen of the Moon or another one of hers.
I feel like we have some overlap in decks! Centennial in a tin is my absolute go-to. If I had only one it would be that one. I find it easier to use for mobility challenges (for me) and easier to carry around (slightly less weight & bulk.) it’s also easier to photograph in a spread if you’re reading a large spread for others. Great video!
I think it is oK to have decks for "beauty/ cuteness" only, though I must admit (you already guessed) I'm not that person. I want to use the things I have on some kind of regularly basis (also if it is only once a month or every winter or so). I might keep a deck I'm not using because of very sentimental reasons, but I don't want these decks to become a collection of their own. I also might keep a "regret buy"deck for a while to remind me of not falling into that same trap a second time. Currently I've 3 of those and in the future they'll go.
I feel if you are tired looking at the pics on the deck, then its time to pass on the decks that one does not want to see the pics anymore. Another reason if one finds they can't read with it anymore....then time to move it on down the line. I had a tarot deck that did not like me and so I gave it to a friend of mine and it does like her. So one knows if time to call it quits with certain decks
PLEASE TELL ME WHERE YOU BUY YOUR TARO CARDS ... iM TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHICH SIT i GET THE QUALITY PLUS THE BEST PRICE {IM OLD AND TERRABLE WITH TECH STUFF} oops ... sorry about the caps {like i said im terrible with teck stuff and spelling} I just found you and like you ... this is my first visit to your work great voice and you talk slow enuff that I can understand you {most talk at lightning speed and a low sound level} Im not bashing them I promise .... Im just trying to explain myself Thank You
I buy most of my decks on Amazon, usually they’re quite competitive with prices. I also purchase from Dutch sites, since I live in the Netherlands, like bol.com, tarot.nl and Indie Tarot. Hope this helps 😊
I swore off anything other than the classic Rider deck for most of my life, unfortunately I slipped and bought “Ethereal visions”… that lead to another slip: “Dark Tarot” 🙄 Now I’m legit thinking of buying protective pages and collecting tarot cards like baseball cards (I’m just a sucker for good art) Finally my question: Do any of these grow in value ? Would you consider Tarot cards to be in any shape or form investment worthy ? (I realize this is a VERY goofy way to look at them) But the ones I want the most are “Somnia Tarot” @ $65 👀 So before I go dropping alot of bread I wanted to ask your opinions on potential investment/return from a collectors point of view.
@@KittyNeptune 😊 Thanks. I figured there had to be some return seeing as how the word “collection” is so frequently found next to the word “tarot” I decided to just buy the ones that appeal to me and cross my fingers. 😊 Hope you have a great day.
I also feel overwhelmed with my collection. I have about 60 decks. Tarot, oracle, lenormand, kipper, Gypsy etc. Definitely overwhelming. I need to find a way to handle.
I started to declutter this time last year. At first I thought I would miss them. As time goes on you work out what type of decks you like which makes impulse buying easier to block as you think more about what your purchasing
Hi! Love the video! If you are looking for a grateful soul to pass on your round tea-leaf deck then I'm here lol! It is so beautiful!!! I gasped seeing you talk about it! BTW, new to your channel and I loge the vibe you give off💋💋 Love and light, Janis✨️
Must be that time of year - I have my entire oracle collection on the living room floor getting ready to film & declutter also. A lot of my hesitation to declutter is the decks are beautiful - but I just never bonded with them or feel like we are at different life stages. No rhyme or reason - sometimes the chemistry just isn't there.
I was in denial about Light Seer's until I bought it. I'm even considering the one in a tin now too lol

My collection is getting bigger lol I have like 10 decks so far and I'm trying to find a way to keep them organized 😅
What a LARGE and beautiful collection. Thank you 🙏🏻 for sharing. 😊 new sub 🥰🔮🙏🏻🧿

Im in love with The Mermaid Tarot. The book is amazing. Do read The Heirophant card and Five of Swords before you let it go.
I love learning from different decks and the guidebook perspective
I love the Dreaming Way Tarot. It's my favorite.
Saaame 😍

Great collection...think you may like True Black...
I think that one is beautiful, but not my vibe. Thanks for watching 🥰
I wish I could give some good advice, but I have never decluttered any decks myself.. 😅

I have absolutely zero experience with investing or collecting so I have no idea if they’ll grow in value haha, sorry!
Some out-of-print decks go for £200! They increase in value if they're out of print and are rare (:
@@KittyNeptune 😊 Thanks.

Maybe Morgan Greer for your brother. I think it's such a powerful, well loved deck. Plus it's a great beginner
Ooooh that’s a great suggestion, thanks 🥰

Wow you have a really cool collection!!! Thank you for sharing :)... my favourite is the Tarot of the little wizard xD
Yessss, there’s not much that can top a cute HP deck 🥰🥰
@@TarotwithRuby yeah I saw your review on ig! One day I'll get it too! 😍... I usually like dark or forest/celtic mood, but this is great 😍

Thanks so much! I am keeping the Tea Leaf Fortune Cards because I do enjoy it 😊
Love the bags you keep the Cards in. Du you make the yourself?
Yess I have made all of my own tarot bags 🥰
What do you have left as l have an extra The Rider Tarot
I have sold everything I wanted to declutter 😊

I have more than 490+ decks and The Cannabis Oracle is a huge Fav!! That's so disappointing to hear & will be boycotting in future 😢
Modern Witch Tarot was my 1st tarot deck too but i just CAN'T connect with it. Feels somewhat artificial.
Yess I have since sold my Modern Witch Tarot because I couldn't with the cardstock, wayyyy too thick
I’m just decluttering this deck also. The card size is perfect. The book is good a court cards
I have sold Everyday witch tarot, definitely it didnt work flor me.
