Make sure you fill in your divots on that old golf course😂😂😂😂..great video..I recently subscribed..love the channel..thanks for the info and great stuff..I like your style...have a good day my friend 😊
Definitely! When it comes to overall durability its up there with the best including the Typhon! Bigger pinion can see this reaching some crazy speeds! BEAST!
I've had 3 of the jx 6221s and they are not bad, but there are much better servos at a good cost. I say this because I race and have found so much more responsiveness from other jx servo's, and the better servo seems worth it to me? Every motor combo I have tried, are all about the same? As far as performance, but a better servo... makes the experience so much better! Top that with a high end transmitter, and receiver, and it's a whole other animal! Not dissing your setup at all, just want to share my experience with servos. I like the Jx blshv 7132 servos. They are about 55 bucks, and are awesome. Awesome buggy and reveiw!
Thanks man for the heads up. Have to say i have always been impressed with the JX servos but i am willing to give some others a try if the price is right.
@@beyondRC That's what I'm saying, jx servos are pretty great, especially for the cost. The higher end Jx servos are Awesome! And relitvly cheap. Around $55-65. I race my nitro buggy with 2 jx servos, blshv7132, also have 1 in my backup ebuggy. I just replaced the gears on 1 and made a video, check it out! ua-cam.com/video/_YMi-xaVo4w/v-deo.html
Exactly 😎! Cheers Phil feels great and honestly feels just like the Typhon nice and weighty, solid and durable which is why i like these hypers so much. My intention is to aim for speed with the Typhon which does take away the bashing side of things as it is a very capable basher but with this hyper i feel so much more confident to abuse it over the Typhon. Not sure if thats because it cost less than half what the Typhon cost 😭😆
Great video mate, Funnily enough I only ordered a Hobao Hyper SSTE Truggy Roller a couple of days ago. Hopefully I might have it early next week, I was also looking yesterday at also ordering the Hobao Hyper VSE Buggy roller. I do like the quality of Hobao as I already have a 1/10 EPX Semi Truck. Stay safe man.
@@beyondRC You need to also take a look at the Corally's line up, they are getting a lot of attention these days. The stand out ones are the Radix 6 / Radix 4 & the new Punisher 6s monster truck. The Punisher is an absolute animal, check out some of the vids of the Punisher. The corally 6s line up are also much cheaper than the Arrma equivalents
Great content once again mate . Loving the hyper . Mine is an absolute weapon ! . My new favourite RC infact . So much fun ! . How did you find the core RC tyres !?
Hello mate! Thank you and its nice to be back doing what i love after my mini break! Decided it was time to get back to normal. I have seen yours and i have to say i love it. Admittedly mines not as quick as yours yet but even so it was so much fun can see this going everywhere with me! Haha the tyres are holding up for now but question is will they last on 6s?? Doubt it... 😭
@@beyondRC thanks dude. Yours looks epic too tbf . You might have been lucky with your tyres then cos mine came off first two mins of running aha . I've been recommended some good ones tho but I'll let you know . I completely totalled my wing and wing mount last run out so I'm gonna invest in a Proline wing as the standard one is a bit brittle .
@SausageWallets_Rc_Corner Thank you :) Maybe i was they seem to be holding up then again we only ran 4s i reckon 6s would demolish them 😂 Let me know how it goes and if you would recommend them also let me know what you think of the proline wing 👍😀

Hi Ricky I really like the look of the buggy and it looks like loads of fun, I'm just putting together a cheap budget buggy myself and was looking at the dumborc transmitter but they have them with or without gyro for about the same cost, which do you suggest is the gyro one harder to set up.
Hey Brad! Honestly its great so well built and ultra durable for the price i dont think many RC'c can compete. Its up there with the likes of Arrma when it comes to how tough it actually is overall i am very impressed! I have actually just used a DumboRC in my SG1603 brushless which will be coming soon on the channel and its a great bit of kit. If its the same cost for one with the gyro then get that one as you can turn it off or down if you dont want to use it. Just nice knowing its there should you want to try it out! 😀👍
Do you have a vid covering the general intro into brushless rc conversions? I have an old rc and wanna know the potential technical and monetary hurdles involved.
@@beyondRC I have an old gptoys s911 foxx that can could get up to 35mph out the box, I blew out something by touching wires together while trying to upgrading the battery pack years ago, but now I’m wondering the various possibilities in upgrading this rc now. It’s was cheap but pretty well built, I don’t mind making it a slightly expensive project, but going full brushless might be too much, perhaps a beefier brushed motor would be a good complimentary upgrade along with upgrading it’s battery pack.
any mod recommendations? It really is this was with a 17t pinion just to test things out and see what we get but has the potential to go up a few teeth!

Great budget build video ! It must be rewarding when parts you track down from many sources work together so well, Great job.
Thanks Rick! Exactly its very rewarding! This thing is powered by an old Arrma motor who would have guessed it would end up in a hobao? 😁👍
Great video. Got myself rolling chassis from a garage sale. Thanks to you know I know I can use Mod 1 gear, some sites stated 32P. Thank you!

Personally I think the Hyper7,ss,vs are leaps and bounds better than an Arrma. Just my opinion though.
I would love to see a battle of the buggies typhon vs Hyper both on 6s
