Born and raised NYer and I still live in NYC. In 4th grade my Hasidic Jewish teacher Ms. Richter sat us down and looked at all of us and said this is where I am supposed to teach you about Salvery. Tosses the text book and thought us the true history. She was the first person to help me decolonize my mind and will be forever grateful knowing how horrible White America are and how they were worse than their British counterparts.
