Why doesn't Ford have wheel well covers for the rear sides. Would the exposed paint get chip by rocks and quickly cause it to rust? I notice the new Rams and GM trucks have rear wheel well covers on their half-ton pick-ups.
Hello Ford or Murfressboro, I have a neighbor who has a 2007 F-150. After he cuts his truck off, removes the key from the ignition, and hits the door lock button on the inside of the driver's door; after he closes the door (normally always driver's door) the tail lamps and front parking lamps flash once after the door closes. He does not lock the truck with the keyless remote, however it seems that the alarm sets after the driver's door closes with him locking it from the inside by the interior door lock button. Also, the horn does not honk when he does this either, after the door closes and the exterior lights flash once fastly. He normally always unlocks the truck with his keyless remote. Is there a way that Ford has made this possible to do, because I have yet to figure it out, but it seems like a great advantage over having to have the keys and keyless remotes in your hand to lock the truck. If you may know anything about this, and are willing to share this with me; I would more than truly appreciate it. Thank you very much for a more than outstanding review!!!

Keegan Moir Yes I know the fx4 is a pkg now. I wish it was a model though because I always loved the painted bumper's etc and the blacked out head and tail light. Also just saying, did you mean to put caps lock on or a mistake?
+InCloseFighter the S T X trim you have is gone not replaced by any other trim. this truck HEAR IN VIDEO is a xlt with a fx4 off road package. witch is because fx4 is not a truck in it self anymore but a package now. add on any trim level you want. kind of like GMC WITH THE Z71 off road PACKAGE. in stead of like 12 trims like before now only 6 xl/xlt/lariat/king ranch/platinum/limited.
+Jr Arias You can get them right now for sub 40 with the incentives out the door, if you can find a 2015. The 2016s are rolling in right now so they're giving good deals on the 2015. Still expensive though.
I remember when Ford made a real sport truck. Short box regular cab with a 5 speed manual transmission. Now they make something for people who forgot what it is like to have fun driving. C'mon Ford - bring back a real truck!!!

XLT used to be the "cheaper" trim level. This new XLT looks very high end!
XLT was the high end package excluding Eddie Bauer. you had Base, XL, XLT. Now there's the Lariat, platinum, limited....
True my dad's old expedition was an xlt and it was the most luxurious. Now he has a 2013 platinum. I have a 23 f250

Yes it is activated once the car is locked, regardless of how it is locked.
