I already felt so bad for that Fun Quest Mage, but it was the Runthak burn that broke my heart.
Any deck that aims to terrorize big priest is a great deck in my book
Do you have something to do the same in standard? You know, the core set now has cards of the lich king expansion and therefore priest now can resurrect Neptulon.
Imagine if they changed the reward for "Raid the Sky Temple" to "discover a mage spell, reduce it's cost by 2." You'd literally get primordial glyph as your hero power. Considering how crazy wild is I think that'd be a fun deck.
When it was released, I was surprised that it wasn't like that in the first place, it has always been a bad quest even when it was in standard
@@LostOnceLefthanded Primordial gylph might be weak as a card but would be very strong as a hero power. But you're right, the deck still wouldn't be good but I think that's fine. I just want to buff the card so it's better as a meme/fun deck rather than to make it actually competitive.

I wonder what the matchup is like against Dew Process Jade Druid
Probably the worst match up imaginable, I even teched skulking geist to counter it
Got that matchup on 1st day release of Maw and Disorder and can confirm it's guaranteed win for Druid unless you destroy their jades. It all comes down to druid having 20 mana and shuffling his win condition for 1 mana, then you have rogue and his rather costly cards... yea not much you can do.

Its hilarious how the first deck had literally every piece of tech that could neuter your win condition (except Malchezaar, I suppose), yet was still at a massive disadvantage due to the mismatch of archetypes.
A shame you didnt include any games against high health opponents, those are always my favorite matchups with mill
mill rogue vs linecracker druid whos idols you milled is one of the funnest matchups ever imo
Linecracker Druid has really gone into hiding since the die down of its last boom in popularity
What a flex that you left them at 1 HP so that they could amara back to 40, then instantly killed them the next turn anyways.
I think that second rogue was playing Humongous Owls, but we'll never know...
