Uncle Aaron: “I want to protect you Miles.”
Also Uncle Aaron: *shoots giant green lasers at you*
hi bro
*slams him into a a wall and shoot mines at him*
It’s not like the emerald splash ever hurt anyone
@@noahholderman5725 he was protecting him by fighting him
Can’t get hurt if you’re dead
"He taught me to put other people ahead of myself" man that line got me showing how truly doesn't want to let Peter and the city down
It's crazy what kind of work he puts in in Spiderman 2
for someone who wants to save their nephew, some of the attacks were pretty brutal.
Lol
They don't look like they do much damage tho, would it be like if you actually died during this fight.
Hes spiderman you'd have to do some brutal attacks if you wanna keep him down
@@Nick-md4mi exactly. I dunno why people are having trouble understanding that.
Spidermans one tough bastard, you gotta put in more effort in your attacks to keep him down
“And I’m not going to let people die just to save my skin.... you underestimated me” the chills man the chills
nah fr tho that line gives me chill
He underestimated Miles’s power
Unlike most Spider-Man villians, the fact that Miles has to his fight his uncle is much different from Peter's fight with villians like the Green Goblin and Venom. Despite having to fight his uncle and losing respect for him, Miles still loves his uncle and definately hates every minute of fighting his own blood as well someone he looked up to. Neither of them want to kill each other, cause they are family and you can understand how much it hurts both of them on a deep level. That's pretty heartbreaking.
And at the end he has to fight his best friend aka wannabe girlfriend
No the Green Goblin had more impact because Spider-Man lost his Gf trying to be a hero. Its not even the same.
@@fdgvfdasgv Not at all.
6:25 I was getting some Peter vs Green Goblin vibes from this part. I'm glad it didn't end the same way.
“Godspeed spiderman!”

Miles stop! Its me.
I swear I was waiting for him too shoot a drone or something 😂
@@Remix-pr4xd I’ve been like an Uncle to you...be a nephew to me now..
I understand why uncle Aaron is doing this, i don't blame him at all, i wouldn't want to lose my family members either, but the way he's doing it is not ok, and he has to realize that once miles puts on that mask, his whole job is to save people in danger no matter the cost
And I agree with the whole statement 🔥💯
Chill out m8
@@samhammersley4366 I'm just tryna explain the situation, you feel me?
@@maz5519 you seem pretty passionate about it but ok
@@samhammersley4366 that's good i think, it means I'm getting the message across, or something like that
Uncle Aaron is making legit points
Which would make sense if he was talking about other major villain but tinkerer is not even menacing without her tech she’s nothing and he has beaten rhino twice by this point she was kinda overpowered in this game
True
@Dr.'sorders spongebob referance lol
yes
@@extreme584 She was overpowered cause of Insomniac bringing politics into video games. All that feminism and female representation bullshit. The fact that she beat Miles ass twice alone is absurd af.
The "You underestimated me" line gives me chills every time, especially since it's paired with Miles just powering up. Such a great game. Wish it was longer but I'll take it.
I feel like the way both Spider-Verse and Miles Morales uncle Aaron said “I let you down” are in such a depressing format that it makes people playing want to cry, except Spider-Verse Aaron, I’m pretty sure almost everybody cried on the scene
I understand that prowler is a "villian" but he makes good points. While Miles is ultimately doing whats right I always ask myself the question is it really the right choice? Like Prowler said, you can't save people when your dead.
I understand that Miles is willing to put his life on the line for others and thats perfect. But, I always feel like hero characters forget what prowler just said. What if they were to actually die. Who's going to protect everyone then? Sometimes I believe it's better to sit back and form a plan and prepare than it is to just dive in headfirst.
So to some extent, I agree with Prowler. However his reasoning for his actions is what I disagree with. He does it for the selfish reason of not wanting to lose his loved ones which we can all relate to of course. However, its better to be selfless.
Either way well written characters here. Bravo
That doesn't make sense. That's the catch of doing the whole superhero gig. You're putting your life on the line. And Peter and Miles know that. What's the point in having those powers if you're not even going to use them? Seems people have forgetting Ben's words.
@@RJ-rp8yd I think they mean like picking your battles, only fighting when you win so you can continue winning. Why fight when you know you’ll die and the city won’t have protection at all? It also gives them time to train and get stronger.
@@RJ-rp8yd What's the point of sacrificing yourself and die against a villian you aren't ready for? For example, Avengers throwing themself to Thanos without any plan and losing during Infinite War. Change Thanos into a cold killer and the whole MCU would've ended right there. The end result would've been the better if the Avengers didn't do anything and planned for a counterattack instead of just improvising. They simply won out of luck, Thanos just happen to spare their life. That's the point of Aaron/Prowler. The only reason superheroes keep fighting like that is because of plot saving them but realistically Aaron's point of view makes the most sense. Don't just sacrifice yourself because you want to be heroic. The casualties will be even worse if you die pointlessly since you are their last line of defense. This still applies to Uncle Ben's words. It's your fault to just throw away your life because you are responsible for more casualties by ending your life pointlessly
@@michaelshahoe
That's not even Aaron's point or purpose of doing this. He kept Miles confined because he didn't want to lose him like he lost his brother. It had absolutely nothing to do with preparation or planning. He even admitted that he didn't want him being Spider-Man at all because he's lost his family due to them risking their life to save others. Miles doesn't want to sit back and do nothing, knowing he has the power to stop it. Were you even paying any sort of attention to the video before trying to argue with me? Your whole comment is pointless.
Same to @Fish Cult. Watch the video.
@@RJ-rp8yd Uhm that's his personal goal buddy and not his point. Ofcourse he would want Miles to stop all this. But the arguments he used to try and convince Miles had never been to stop being Spiderman. He said Miles should wait after the Tinkerer and Roxxon are done with their battle because he was afraid Miles couldn't handle it and die like his brother did. That's the message he tried to convey to Miles..... Was it really that hard to understand?
I love how Insomniac too inspiration from both the Into the Spider-Verse movie, and the comics....
Uncle Aron: I’m trying to protect you
Also uncle Aron: proceeds to launch brutal attacks
😂😂😂😂😂😂
Its because miles is still gonna punch him even if he dont fight back. And he also had enough of miles because 1. He escaped 2. He also used venom electric thing to him (which must've hurt alot) 3. Its a game
Its fucking spiderman dudes a brute
It’s weird (in a great way) that we live in a time where a video game can have be beloved just as much as movies
When he said you underestimate me it reminded me of Anakin from Star Wars lol
II HATE YOU
IT'S OVER ANAKIN I HAVE THE HIGHTGROUND
When we do get that Miles Morales movie in the MCU I want to see this type of confrontation between Miles and Aaron, the way Aaron talks to miles in this game is almost as if he was talking to his own brother because he just doesn't see his nephew, he see's a reflection of mile's father in him and he couldn't live with himself knowing that he'll die the same way his brother did.. being a hero and sacrificing himself
Yeah his uncle is a cool guy and this fight is amazing and emotional
Miles is mentioned in Far From Home but at that point he was probably a young kid.
Not until Holland is done is my guess. Might be a while.
Nah, he just sees he nephew
It's too soon to introduce miles, Peter in mcu is way to young
I want a prowler dlc, where you get to be him, it would be cool to fight as him
Won’t ever happen. Insomniac are lazy

This is gonna work perfect for a mysterio level
It's always nice when we can relate and sympatise with both parties, even if we know that one is obviously better than the other.
P.S: Also, for everyone saying that the attacks Aaron delivers are too brutal, remember that Miles is not just some regular guy,he's Spiderman. He probably suffers worse on a daily basis from the other bad guys.

The prowler isn’t really a villain in Spider-Man
@@TheChosennn depends on which prowler your talking about
Edit: since there's actually 2
I miss the skinny jet boots/claw gauntlets prowler this ones still good though
Uncle Aaron doesn't understand what he did to his nephew. He literally stopped Miles from saving people. I understand Aaron doesn't want him to die and needs to be protected, but Miles can take care of himself. Without Spider-Man, people will die.
This is not the right way for Aaron to do this.
And people will die because of Aaron. And Miles mother will blame Aaron for everything.
Miles is right, Aaron keeps thinking Miles can just stop being Spider-Man whenever he chooses
I love this sequence so much and how they did Aaron differently in this game vs what Spider verse did

Easily my favorite fight in this game. The move animations are amazing, and you're fighting a boss that doesn't actually want to kill you but protect you, but you have to defeat him for the greater good.

Well it is a game and there is spider sense
What Aaron calls "surviving" Miles calls abandonment and cowardice. The reason Jeff turned his back on Aaron was that Aaron was too scared to turn himself and his clients in. Miles is right, Aaron was a coward for not doing the right thing to save his own skin. Thankfully, Miles got through to his uncle by telling him that he couldn't abandon his responsibilities or the people that needed him because he had to better than that. I'm glad Aaron ultimately did the right thing and ratted Krieger out, and he went to prison knowing Miles and Jeff would be proud that he made himself a hero. Heroism is about self-sacrifice to do the right thing, even if it means you'll likely die trying or face some harsh consequences.
Can we all appreciate how Miles only webs up one of his hands, letting the other one free when he could easily get out? Aarons just given up at this point. That's why, and miles knows it.

I bet people playing this were surprised being shot suddenly
I never noticed before but we actually get an different version of mm Spider-Man than the animation one in the animation one his uncle died but in the game his dad dies and it shows bc the way uncle is afraid of his nephew dying bc his brother died while his dad is embracing the new Spider-Man. ps if I got any of that wrong then pls correct me
In his first comics i think his mum dies
@@jasonmillsom2981 his uncle dies first in the comics, then it’s his mom but she comes back to life
The sad part is, they both understandable reasons for acting like this. Aaron doesn't want to lose his family and Miles doesn't want innocent people to die .
Prowler has no idea if all innocents and Miles mother died, it would his fault.
Challenge
Every time Uncle Aaron says “Nephew” to Miles, take a shot
The prowler is lowkey the type of guy to spam overpowered fighting combos in fighting games
What makes me happy about this is Arron really loved his nephew. Through the whole fight and the game he loved Miles and never wanted to him het harmed. Its not like he finally shows true colors and betray he actually wanted to protect him
Not gonna lie when he shot me with the laser caught me off guard I though I failed the mission or something lol.
I hate and love how their both wrong in this situation. If miles continues his actions even if heroic, in the endgame have high odds of getting him killed. Aaron (surprisingly my name) just doesn't want that to happen which at this point I wish someone(even me) could tell him the way it is right now, if miles backs out people not just harlem will die painfully. Their both too deep in the war to fix their problems now. Kinda interesting and sad really.
Miles isn’t wrong at all, Aaron is
@@xnortheast1106 Miles is wrong too. Let's just take Avenger's Infinite War as an example. MCU would've ended if Thanos killed those who's in his way of his justice. The only reason they managed to fight back and ended up winning in Endgames is because Thanos let them life. They were insanely lucky. Aaron's point demonstrates he's right in this scenario. Don't just throw away your life just to be heroic, you're their last line of defense. Who will save them when you die?
@@michaelshahoe Okay but he couldn’t just let the Tinker blow up the plaza even if Roxxon is bad it still wouldn’t be right but they don’t want to listen it’s like he said he can’t choose to fight one battle and run away from another he can’t pick and choose when he wants to be Spider-Man he took an oath to protect the city, so I don’t think he’s wrong for this.
@@xnortheast1106 I'm giving you an example of Miles being wrong. The point is both depends on the situation. Miles having this mentality 100% will get himself killed one day and everyone else because your luck will eventually run out. Aaron's point is more realistic.
@@michaelshahoe And Miles also said he was definitely ok with dying to protect the city because that’s his job as Spider-Man, to protect the city and the people. Aaron’s point may be more realistic but it’s not what Peter would do and it’s not what he would do so again I don’t think he’s wrong
Honestly I do hope that some day we get a live action version of Miles Morales with Donald Glover playing Prowler

Hahaha Miles has that kid interpretation of the world, it’s funny because everyone goes through that stage. Thinking they want to change the world for the better. They did a good job of capturing that.
The difference is that Miles actually does have the means to change the world.
maybe you're just a careless and selfish person with no desires in life. and you're projecting it on here
Prowler: I gotta keep you safe
Also prowler: Aggressively shoots lasers at him
1:33 You underestimated me....
I thoroughly enjoyed this fight. Felt like I was in the middle of a cinematic scene.
Uncle Aaron need to hear from another Great Uncle say "With Great Power's comes Great Responsibilities. "
I totally agree with miles. Can’t pick and choose when to be Spider-Man.
Definitely played it like a movie scene. Well done
I like how the oath he made is always mentioned and its one of the reasons he wont back down not just for average super hero reasons
I see both sides but miles didn't tell his Uncle about the new specs on the reactor and how it would blow up Harlem. I'm pretty sure if he told him Prowler would help Miles rather than try to hold him hostage and fight him.
Uncle Aaron: Dog-Eat-Dog
Me: Prowler-Eat-Prowler
Prowler doesn't look quiet like Prowler without his cape.
Man, I never thought I was gonna want a collection of Prowler figures!
Damn all the shade Prowler threw at peter
That’s not Peter
Saying "I want to save your life" and then blasting him with that green laser is just another example of twisted video game logic.
That wasn't saving. Prowler doesn't care if Innocent people died.
Its hard to say this but I'll say this:
I grew up watching spiderman having this life of fighting villains and I always thought I adored the original spider men and oh boy was I angry when Spider Man Morales came around because I always assumed it was a "Woke liberal agenda" propaganda and an attempt to remove any traces of other raced heroes to promote black heroes but I soon realized: "this spider man has more raw fight scenes, family vs family, dimension saving..." and I said "Oh nahh this shit actually BUSSIN' you spider man fans are missing OUT" ❤😂
Miles slowly reminds me of myself irl. I never stop to help anyone in need even if I know they abuse me... Because I know at some point, people will turn from the hateful darkness that consumes them. And I wanna be the one to stay true to myself, as miles did, so others can too...
Hell yeah! I dig re-watching these while listening to raw rockmusic like delta parole, makes me feel all excited
Lol the audio is so good, I can tell where he is by the sounds when he is invisible
Honestly if I was Prowler I'd probably be doing the same. Miles is still a kid, even though we know he's amazing Aaron still sees him as his nephew that called him when he was unsure of himself. The only different choice I would make as Prowler would probably be going with Miles right after the fight to help him out and watch out for him. There have been several times in the game that Miles has almost kicked thr bucket, that would worry me to no limit and I would do my best to keep him safe, even if it means I had to be rough with him. Maybe I would bring Rio to help talk sense into him (even though ultimately she'd agree with miles)
This was one of the best fights in the game
I remember I beat him with with a great combo using connected venom dashes and and just massing the attack button. I wish I saved it because it was awesome as hell.
"I'M TRYING TO SAVE YOU MILES"
Proceeds to try to kill him.
Yeah, that's not saving.
Lol getting shot out of the blue trying to locate Phin was surprising and funny
When I saw this, all I could think of was the Prowler’s theme from Into the Spider-verse 😭
it saddens me that Prowler doesn’t have an awesome cape
It is sad that Miles’ uncle would actually end up killing his nephew despite not intending to.
U know the Prowler is just like Task Master...Copying everyones combat skills
One of the best fights in the game besides the “vulture” fight in my opinion
So this is like taskmaster he hits u while swinging and u get into a boss fight
Well, UA-cam died.
Charged Clouds wdym?
@Lunar Productions thought i was the only one having that problem earlier
If I was in the movie and me and miles were fighting him I would say: “ if you really wanted to protect miles, why try stopping him from saving other people?.. you can just lock him up in here forever! Some people need him because they want his help and they care! understand that you should support miles for once Aaron. I know you want to protect miles but at least let him do his job.”
I want to protect you by slashing open your chest with claws
I liked that they didnt cliche kill the uncle again.
Honestly, Prowler is my favorite character. I mean I agree with Miles but I completely understand Aaron
I like how he venom blasted it shows orange lightning and the electric box shows blue that looks cool
Jack: I THINK I ALREADY LIKE HIM MORE THAN PETER!!!!
Peter: **am I a joke to you????**
Me: siding with White Boi here.
I think he was talking about animation and gameplay wise
I want mysterio as a boss he is my favorite sinister six villain
Going through this scene, i thought my health was low or sum and sum underground character shot me but i was so surprised
This abandoned subway one of the hammerheads hideouts in the one of the dlcs in the first Spider-Man game
Aaron was definitely the best character in the game.
It’s So Sad that Miles Had to fight his Uncle Aaron, knowing That Aaron didn’t made an Impact on Miles that He wasn’t there for him and his Family, Miles and I have Something a lot in common, we Both have Evil, Alcholic, and Villainous Uncles
I can't believe this is a side mission
1:35 - Clear Star Wars reference
A playable Prowler DLC would be so cool
You can understand this from both ends
It’s funny cause when I went to the museum before I got hit by prowler I was just walking up to it like nothing and when he blasted at me he missed yet I still got the knocked out cutscene lol
Uncle Aaron : Surrender to me kid
Miles :L1+O+Tri
Uncle Aaron : x_x Ahh Hell nah Man Here we go again
At first I felt like this was a set up cause I got ambushed the second I got the prowler suit😂
Does anyone know what triggered this fight? Cause I was swinging doing side stuff for a while, ignoring the Oscorp center mission, and he jumped me.
Swinging near the main mission marker will make Prowler stop you from going any further
7:00 this is such a sad scene. While I agree with miles on his cause, he turned his back on uncle Aaron, who needed him as family.
