After watching this movie i got the answer why imtiaz Ali made biopic? He doesn't force you to think that , "yahi bikta h to m bechunga" (like all other artists did). He doesn't impose that ," mere sath bura hua ya society gandi h to m bhi vaisa hi hu.." Because 1) chamkila gave the highest selling spiritual songs. 2) He never made any vulgar songs after that.. he sang but not made. 3) He resist to sing those songs as much as he could but he knows that this is public who can forgive you very easily. Now my opinion why he made this film : 1) He wanna show that we as a society are very hypocate, we always have a problem who got fame. (All other artists sangs those vulgur songs but Target was always chamkila. 2) If you are big enough then everyone try to get fame by pushing you down , like : without ever know reporters wrote about you. Dharam tries to impose their value and restrict you of doing many things which are unnecessary. 3) Compititors try to defame you.
The film works because: 1. Great cinematography, direction, characterisation. 2. Doesn't infantalise the audience and force them to think a particular way (ref: your point on glorification). Rather, it humanises everyone including the women who apparently the powers that be tried to protect, but who didn't need protection. 3. Really takes us in the middle of the story - Punjab in the 80s. The production design, the language, the characters. All feel very realistic. The audience is bang in the middle of the action, and not viewing it as outsiders in 2024. It seems like Imtiaz Ali has really come of age with this film. For once, I liked Parineeti Chopra also.
The honesty, admiration and dedication with which Diljit Dosanjh played the character was the most beautiful part of it. Aone if the most memorable scenes for me were: the delima he face leaving while handing over the cash to his 1st wife and their child, the moment wheb he see tve bug poster of his hero in Canada, the interview with the journalist explaining he doesn't have the power to decide the rights and wrongs about his singing (he is just catering to his audience and he just wants to sing), the place where he is almost tored and gave up thinking too much about the threats he qas facing.....
In this movie it is clearly depicted that how an artist is stuck between society and few portion of society which loves the same. Basically if artist try to change people don't accept that change and demand what he is not allowed by certain part of society. In this movie Chamikla made a statement "ki mein kiski suno logon ki jo mere show mein aate hai ya unki jo nahi aate hai". "Mein nahi bhi gaana chahon toh bhi log mujhse wohi chahte hai ki mein waise gaane gao". So as an artist should he stop singing or continue singing which will cost to his life. A great artist who kept on fighting till his last breath and was killed before watching himself on big screen in punjabi movie, which was his dream.

It's Masterpiece move from Imtiaz Ali sir. I really felt the emotions of Chamkila when he was confused and don't know what to do everything getting wrong for him but he always wanted to make audience happy.
I think the film is made perfectly. There is no loophole. The film is biopic of Amar Singh and the film shows the life journey of him. There is no over drama. Great performance of Diljit Dosanjh. So everything works for me. This is the best biopic i have seen after 12th fail

For God's sake or should I say for indias sake go and do some research about this thing from a somewhat neutral media. It was a political agenda implanted by your beloved gov only to use it as an escape to spread hate crime against Sikhs. On ground level you won't even cross paths with a single person IN INDIA who would say sum dumb shit like this. Yall jus use some 2-3 people outside of India Makin a fuss about it and draw a conclusion about the whole thing. Yall hypocrite af why don't yall call out the pro Hindu Rashtras such as bjp aren't they doing the same with India by fuckin up with it's secularism. Focus on the real issues to make it a better country rather than the issues created by the governments to win election around and you'll be adding sum to for the growth of this country instead of hatred What do you think you're doing by calling artists like him khalisani, Makin them more patriotic or hateful to the country ?
This is a different style of filmmaking. Non judgemental portrayal of its protagonist. It doesn’t make the audience love or hate someone of the film. I watched the movie and it is a non dramatised account of the events from Chamkila’s life. It is a very honest film of an honest artist Chamkila. Daljit Dosanjh deserves an award for his acting.
The film was so grounded and raw, same locations, same people, same emotions, same thought process. Being a chamkila fan since childhood, I felt I wasnt even close to what chamkila actually was as an artist+ as a human. "doing his job honestly, took him away from us". thank you for the depth you told @5ocial team.
I REALLY liked the movie, especially the last 30 minutes of the movie, the last 30 mins shows how he fears the people threatening him, how he performs on the stage here his idol performed, HOW HE CHANGED, the scene where he light up a bidi just after taking the 4 promises- it showed that he became A KALAKAR, he is just totally engulfed in his art, now he doesn't fear anyone, dosent care about anyone, no society no threats, now its just him and his art. Just after that scene his friend says "us din mujhe samjha ke chamkila pagal ho chuka hai" aur sub ko pata hai har kalakar ko log peh leh pagal he keh teh hai😂. "YEAH BANDOOK WALEH HAI, INKA TOH KAAM HAI GOLI CHALANA TOH YEAH CHALA ENGAY, HUM GANE BANA NEH WALEH HAI HAMARA KAAM HAI GEET GA NA TOH HUM GAENGAY, NA WOH HAMAREH LIYE RUK NENGAY, NA HUM UN K LEA" he dosent care about right and wrong, now its just an artist performing his art. And the song MAINU VIDA KARO ❤ its lyrics .. it just sums it all ( am sure @inotherwords will make an analysis video on its lyrics, those who know will know) . Others might have different perspective, different option on it... but this is how i saw this movie .. sn
Just watched Amar Singh Chamkila and Elvis (Elvis is also a biopic based on the life of Elvis Presley) By watching both I got to know that just because of some people living in this society how great talents lead to death or change their real self for their lives. 90s India and 70s America level of thinking was the same...
Man the lyrics "TUM SABHI SAAF SAHI HUN MAATHMELA MAIN" what a performance by Diljit paaji❤❤ and pareeniti maam what a music/song by ar rehman sir and all the singers and the direction of the movie by imtiaz ali sir🔥🐐🐐🐐🐐🐐
I was blown away by the cinematography in "Amar Singh Chamkila"! They really nailed that gritty, realistic feel of 80s Punjab, especially during the concert scenes where it feels like you're in the crowd. But then they also have these flashback moments that are super nostalgic and soft, showing a different side of Chamkila. It's not just pretty pictures - the way they use split screens and mix in old footage tells the story of a singer caught in the middle of intense social change. Sometimes it's a bit jarring, but I think that's on purpose to keep you on your toes and show how complex his story really is. The cinematography adds this whole other layer to the film, making it a must-watch for the visuals alone.
Just finished watching the movie: "Amar Singh Chamkila" on Netflix. The best biopic movie i have ever seen so far!❤️Feels very realistic on every points of aspects without glorifying the character. Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra has played their role very commendably👏 and the screenplay, cinematography everything stands out perfectly.👌 Imtiaz Ali and his team has created an true artist film with lots of grace and gratitude. It feels like Diljit Dosanjh wasn't playing the character but he was living as a character which made me feel very sad for the tragic death of Singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Mrs. Amarjot Kaur.🥺 Huge Respect to the Amar Singh Chamkila team from Nepal🇳🇵🙏
Movie me Chamkila or Babbi ki past journey dikhate hai, or khas moments show krte time director bich bich me unki dead bodies dikhate hai, to wo ek emotional hike dete hai unn moments ko, usse or jyada feel aata hai characters ke liye, and surely the starting scenes is one of the biggest in the film, literally shocked...
I really think this is the best way of V presenting a video for the viewers instead of the face came where the camera quality is too low and the expression that he gives are not at all needed as we came to see a movie review
chamkila is diljit's once in a lifetime performance . he literally lived that character . also parineeti showed potential for her character as amarjot . happy to see imtiaz ali's success after years :)
The Presentation of imtiaj Sir Just Fabulous. Look at the way he tells the story and in his every film songs are story driven type not like burden in story . He is just fantastic
i really enjoyed the film. this film really does not follow the pattern of an Imtiaz Ali film, and that is where Imtiaz Ali wins as a director. Thank you Vishal for such a correct commentry.
first of all we must appreciate Imtiaz Ali for such dramatic movie, this movie purely shows what was Punjab and how the people began to listen Chamkila . At that time people of Punjab was were surrounded by horrors of killings and societal norms. So Chamkila rose up there to soothen the moods and pressure of the people.
Diljit will finally get his breakthrough iam not a Punjabi but know Hindi and watch Hindi films and loved this guy in udta Punjab such a talented artist
I loved the movie.I am a big fan of Imtiaz Ali.I think the movie also talk about what is vulgure in our society. For example what Chamkila's father in law and mother in law did in the climax.
The beauty of the film is you can simply draw a parallel between Chamkila and Moosewala. Obviously no one wants to be evil/vulgar/unusual, but if the society loves them for that, the artist has to portray that role his entire life. Moosewala sang "Shaam Te Savere Bhaalde Vivaad Ne, Aiven Tere Naal Karde Fasaad Ne, Chauvi Ghante Naale Nind-de Paraune Nu, Naale Ohde Kalle Kalle Geet Yaad Ne" where he's talking about the media and the society in general, stating that they try to involve him in controversies day and night, but still remember his songs word by word. Most of the people I know don't even know the lyrics of Moosewala songs but still vibe to them, I think that is the power of creativity and music which breaks barriers, and even if people understand the lyrics, they love him more, that's why his videos have millions of views and that only is the reason that Chamkila's records were also sold in millions. During the first part of the film, you can see that the DSP (first of all, the guy who played the DSP was fantastic as he had the perfect blend of the devilish and sympathetic mindset of that of a senior policeman) was kinda negligent towards Chamkila's fame because he had a pre generated image of him as a vulgar and fluke-ish, aira gaira types, but as he got to know about him from his close ones, he got the real image and you can see by the end of the film, during the music video of "Vida Karo" when the Commissioner is saying that Chamkila was this Chamkila was that, portraying him negatively, the DSP stood silent because he knew the truth but he had to stay shut because that's what society is, you can't argue with your seniors or else you will invite trouble.
The song "Vida Karo" exemplified how is life was , "Tum sabhi pak sahi, paap ka dariya main" and people loved those songs even though he once tried to change to decent songs but people demanded the vulgar ones.
I wrote this on my page #punjabimusic #highpitchedvocals #tumbi #amarsinghchamkila #dugri #ludhiana #elvisofpunjab #ImtiazAli #diljitdosanjh #ParineetiChopra #arrahman #AnjumBatra #mohitchauhan #arijitsingh #IrshadKamil #Netflix #chamkilamovie
#myopinion Imtiaz Ali's film "Chamkila" sparks my interest, especially when compared to last year's "Jodi" directed by Amberdeep Singh. Interestingly, "Jodi" was also inspired by Chamkila's life, depicting the story of an artist named Sitara. As you rightly mentioned, a biopic should avoid glorifying a hero's life excessively. However, "Jodi" seemed to fall into this trap at times. For instance, there were scenes where Sitara's controversial songs were glorified, and he himself felt ashamed of their vulgarity. Similarly, the comparison between his songs and mainstream Hindi songs seemed to justify his explicit content. In both "Chamkila" and "Jodi," there were depictions of the artist's involvement in films, portraying the legacy he left behind. Despite these shortcomings, both films succeeded in capturing hearts and delivering memorable music. Diljit's performance in "Jodi" was particularly noteworthy, adding fire to the screen.
A film that makes an impact on my thinking process that an artistic soul always harrassed by typical practices of society and in the end either art dies or the artist. A strong narrative and screenplay works for me so loud and hats off to it's makers so brave . I want our cinema to exactly like this beutiful and real for audience that's all from my thinking 😊
I didn't know anything about chamkila I just randomly started watching it and was shocked by the beginning of the film, the way imtiaz Ali has captured the scene it worked perfectly, reminded me of the way Villeneuve's polytechnic has started, amazing film, amazing video ❤
Actually this was the film , where I can't describe the energy i felt after watching. Its was something new, different. I felt chamkilla already new he will be killed , but he continued. Yes you are right, Imtiaz sir didn't white washed his bad aspects , he just showed how a normal man would do with opportunities presented to him . As chamkila said " pehlay kam krletay hai phir bad mei beith kr sochy gay sahi tha k galt'
I like the movie a lot, can't imagine that it's a imtiaz ali's movie... He make a documentary movie with almost a perfect cinematography of 70's and 80's era,.....animation , real photos and lyrics explain leaves a big impact on us. 0ne of the best documentary movie I ever seen... Shows all the stages of feeling what chamkila thinks and how he manage to deal with it... But demand the government of find the culprit of assassination of chamkila and his wife...
Imtiyaz Ali is the wonderful director. And Rockstar or Amar Singh Chamkila both are the too nice films . But the fact is that these two actor -director dues of Ranbir Kapoor & Imtiyaz Ali and Diljit Dosanjh & Imtiyaz Ali both are outstanding and wonderful.
2 distinct soundtracks in one movie.. the original's recreations- and the 2nd by a.r.rahman and irshad kamil. the song naram kaalja though... highlights the duality of society very well
I think its a great movie.. It amazingly portrays the dual nature of the society like in the scene at Amarjot's house her family were talking about can a man think of such vulgar lyrics and a minute later they all accepted their notorious side and started dancing on similar songs. Adding on to the 5ocial's analysis, Chamkila always had a choice to stop singing vulgar songs but the moral dilemma becomes his weakness and he fails to keep the promise everytime. This shows a lot about his personality that he secretly liked singing all those songs.
It’s was a great movie from every aspect right from the beginning to end. The way of story telling was really catchy. Thrilling performance by Diljit Dosanjh & Tikki (Chamkila’s Friend). Vibe of music as they created so real as it was during the era of 80’s that was an authentic touch of Movie. Effortless Acting by Diljit Dosanjh & perfect Direction by Imtaz Ali. 🙌🙌
I am so lost in the world amar singh chamkila The last time i was lost in a biopic was 12 years ago with Pan Singh Tomar. Diljit Dosanjh! You're the pride of indian cinema a true artist
The best dialogue is " Hum jaiso ko to bas jaise taise karke jina hota hain" Agar main ap jaisa hota to aap ati kya. The next thing is real life photography which are perfect place.
As shown in the movie chamkila was grown up listening to local folk songs of punjab which were also vulgar so he sang like that this is most of the old punjab music decades se aisa hee chalta aarha tha punjab ne chamkila ne kuch naya nahi kiya tha bas chamkila kee young age me kam time me itni jyada fame gain krne se dusre singers jal gaye jaisa movie me dikhaya aur bas unhone usko girwana chaha aur jab chamkila ka sathi police waalo se kehta hai ki janta ko kya sunna hai kaun chunta hai? Ekdum sahi baat boli usne janta ko jo sunna janta hi chunti hai chamkila ne unpe force nahi kiya ki yehi suno
direction to storytelling everything gives you a new way of presenting a story , a story of how hypocrite society is and how a artist who just wanted to be with his art and society doesn't let him to do the same . My pov is the same as yours, society doesn't allow us to follow "right to express" because they just can't bear the truth or things which are close to truth which i believe was shown in this movie as well and and projects like Tandav which gave us an on point view regarding via its political commentary , which ultimately results in cancelling or get edited like Kashyap's maximum city. As it restricts the flimmaker to go away from reality , and the same reason i loved this flim because it give you how, what and why everything happen in there true sense.
I just loved this film...ending jaante hue bhi I was just enjoying this movie....itni achhi screenplay performance by actors, costume.... originality ko barkarar rakhna.... Mujhe film mein sabse achhi baat woh lagi Jo kumud Mishra ke jariye samjhane ki koshish ki gayi....aur woh bilkul sahi hai
So much to say about this movie: 1) At least respect people in their death. 2) Imtiaz Ali touches the right strings of 'slice of life' and 'hauntingness of stardom' with this one. 3) Trying to pacify everyone in the world, like many of Imtiaz's characters do is like moths running straight into the flame. 4) This feels so close to reality, to the point I've not quite seen in films before. The dialogues, gestures, acting, and interactions all feel like how would people talk in real life. It brings a genuine feeling. 5) Diljit's charm is through the roof, even when he's succumbing to the dark side. 6) every character feels human. There is not glorification of any of the grey acts committed. 7) just a thought: when the deed is done and all is said and gone, and you sit in the middle of the night wondering what went wrong. And even if you knew about it... Would you change it?
Chamkila for me is a very different kind of biopic bcoz as said in th video it doesn't glorify the artist... In the opening scene we did Chamkila getting kind hence throughout the film we want to know the reason for why he got killed....evenually the filmakers wanted tht as in the process of generating pityness for Chamkila we see the rise of him as a mass hero.
Best deeply understand on chamkila. Firstly I loved about its cinematography, songs and diljit doshanjh 's performance. I really liked imtiaz ali's direction. ❤😊😊
No one has the right to ask people to select this or that. I am in love with chamkila and his devotion. Remember I first came to know about chamkila 3 days before the movie
I am from Punjab and also from sikh family. Chamkila is very very very popular and have cult audience even today in Punjab, haryana and Rajasthan's some parts. He died at the age of 27 but i shocked how fast and growing his life he married two times and see so much popularity. It's too too much for a simple person from village. I think if he cross his 30s maybe he starts good songs because his children grown up and then he also realized.
I was waiting for your take on Chamkila movie ❤❤❤❤ really Imtiaz Ali is my role model the way he shows movies are truly masterpiece in storytelling ❤❤❤❤ After Jab we met Chamkila is 2nd best film of Imtiaz Ali and bestest performance by Diljit and parineeti ❤❤❤❤ever I want to experience this kind of films in theatre but 😭 Imtiaz Ali took right decision to release in ott to reach the every target audience fastly ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
2:21 mujhe toh samjh aagaya tha ki killing scene hai starting, setup hi aisa kar rahe the ki kuch unexpected hone wala hai. Baar baar yeh lines use karna "aa raha hai chamkila" and uski tarif, log bahut jyada excited hai, wait kar kar rahe hai and then chamkila ke aate hi uski death
Beautiful movie!! Bollywood me logo ko sikhna chahiye ki ek biopic ese banai jati hai. Literally movie ye sochne par majboor kr deti h ki kya chamkila galat tha? Mere opinion me to nhi.
"Chamar Hun Bhookha nhi marunga"💪😇
Very inspirational story of Amar Singh Chamkila saab❤❤❤🙏💐

Imtiaz Ali is a class director.i have never seen a director at least his generation who visualised songs as if they are themselves telling the story

@technoblade9924 yall don't even have an idea about what this whole thing g is about and now jus target Sikhs because yall have been manipulated to do so.
Focus on the real issues to make it a better country rather than the issues created by the governments to win election around and you'll be adding sum to for the growth of this country instead of hatred
What do you think you're doing by calling artists like him khalisani, Makin them more patriotic or hateful to the country ?
@technoblade9924 y'all say that hindus and sikhs are the same, so khalistan is also like hindu rashtra don't worry 😂😂😂😂
One of my favourite dialogue is -Duniya samajhdaari se nahi chalti bas chalti hi jaati he
This is a different style of filmmaking.
What about Irshad Kamil who wrote it
I was blown away by the cinematography in "Amar Singh Chamkila"!
Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra has played their role very commendably👏
and the screenplay, cinematography everything stands out perfectly.👌
Imtiaz Ali and his team has created an true artist film with lots of grace and gratitude.
It feels like Diljit Dosanjh wasn't playing the character but he was living as a character which made me feel very sad for the tragic death of Singer Amar Singh Chamkila and his wife Mrs. Amarjot Kaur.🥺
Huge Respect to the Amar Singh Chamkila team from Nepal🇳🇵🙏
Movie me Chamkila or Babbi ki past journey dikhate hai, or khas moments show krte time director bich bich me unki dead bodies dikhate hai, to wo ek emotional hike dete hai unn moments ko, usse or jyada feel aata hai characters ke liye, and surely the starting scenes is one of the biggest in the film, literally shocked...
Very rare film
EVERTHING WORKED FOR ME
I NEITHER SKIPPED A SINGLE SECOND IN THIS FILM
I really think this is the best way of V presenting a video for the viewers instead of the face came where the camera quality is too low and the expression that he gives are not at all needed as we came to see a movie review
The ending song nd lyrics summed up whole Chamkla's life... really really appreciable ❤
chamkila is diljit's once in a lifetime performance . he literally lived that character . also parineeti showed potential for her character as amarjot . happy to see imtiaz ali's success after years :)
Brilliance in each and every department makes Amar Singh Chamkila a masterful depiction of a singer who was a superhit among masses
Apart for cinematic aspect what i liked in chamkila portrail is how satisfied he was with world and how much he achieved... Its like meditation
Diljit will finally get his breakthrough iam not a Punjabi but know Hindi and watch Hindi films and loved this guy in udta Punjab such a talented artist
Bro you are responding to a comment really 😱
This song makes me crying 😭
Irshad Kamil lyrics
Chamkila🤝Sandeep Reddy Vanga, this statement deepens as much as you think of it.
One of the bestest❤
Brother sandee is half minded this is true
This point was rolling in my head this afternoon a lot!
I wrote this on my page

The film delivered us a harsh example of our society
For me,Ishq Mitaye song was a fresh breath as I expected a long dramatic scene after Chamkila's death at the beginning of the movie
Kuch anokha dekhne mila . Chamkila dekhne k bad uske bare m or janne ka man kia. Imtiyaz Ali kya derection kia h . Maja ageya behtirin krigiri
everything worked in this movie bro. i found myself rewinding so many scenes
sach kahu to aisa laga ki jaise bade dino baad pet bhar ke khana khaya.... wo sukoon mila.... totally worth it...
I didn't know anything about chamkila I just randomly started watching it and was shocked by the beginning of the film, the way imtiaz Ali has captured the scene it worked perfectly, reminded me of the way Villeneuve's polytechnic has started, amazing film, amazing video ❤
Imtiaz Ali film ❤
Aapka perspective Imtiaz Ali ke perception ke kaafi kareeb hai.❤
Chamkila showed the mirror to the society and few society members denied it.
& what about diljit ?
This is Imtiaz Ali's masterpiece
Masterpiece of film making....
The song VIDA KARO speaks the heart of Chamkila and it's sad the society now is still the same as during Chamkila's time.
Due to Imtiaz Ali Sir we are able to know about Chemkila. As you said it sometimes depicted as a documentary and as a movie. Its a master piece.
For Oscars? Not because i agree or i don't. Because it's a very genuine blend of multiple cinema related thoughts
That Last song was at next level
I loved-
1. Diljit
2. Parineeti
3. Co actors
4. Everything ❤
Ye aisi movie h jise dekhne ke baad sayad hi koi ek scene Dil or dimag se utra ho❤
As a punjabi I like the movie ,chamkila songs and Diljit paji..
Yes definitely right but when a person when the person on the top the Rivals and his relatives also jealous because he is the man who own the industry
Need a movie on Shiv Kumar batalavi ❤
Panjab has great history
@@sukhanpreetsingh2395So does every other state in this country. 😂😂
I am so lost in the world amar singh chamkila
The last time i was lost in a biopic was 12 years ago with Pan Singh Tomar.
Diljit Dosanjh! You're the pride of indian cinema a true artist
"Your explanation was really beautiful. It made me connect with the movie for the past two days. It's been on my mind."
Diljit ki pehli movie dekhi ha jis man diljit ko real acting man dekha ha.ye imtiaz sir ka kamal ha...
Yeh ab tak ka Imtiaz ki sabse acha kaam hai
CHAMKILA IS MASTERPIECE FOR ME..
Diljit showed his best in this movie. Just loved to see the movie again and again
Diljit naam hi kafi he♥️
The best dialogue is " Hum jaiso ko to bas jaise taise karke jina hota hain" Agar main ap jaisa hota to aap ati kya.
The next thing is real life photography which are perfect place.
Ek baaat aur Bhaiya ❤Stage p Jo bhi seeen ar song h wo real m Chamkila ka original h❤
As shown in the movie chamkila was grown up listening to local folk songs of punjab which were also vulgar so he sang like that this is most of the old punjab music decades se aisa hee chalta aarha tha punjab ne chamkila ne kuch naya nahi kiya tha bas chamkila kee young age me kam time me itni jyada fame gain krne se dusre singers jal gaye jaisa movie me dikhaya aur bas unhone usko girwana chaha aur jab chamkila ka sathi police waalo se kehta hai ki janta ko kya sunna hai kaun chunta hai? Ekdum sahi baat boli usne janta ko jo sunna janta hi chunti hai chamkila ne unpe force nahi kiya ki yehi suno
Please! Vi give review of these amazing movies:-
1. Aadujeevitham (The GOAT Life)
2. DUNE
3. Bramayugam
4. Manjummel boys
5. Gaami
direction to storytelling everything gives you a new way of presenting a story , a story of how hypocrite society is and how a artist who just wanted to be with his art and society doesn't let him to do the same .
👍🏻 chamkila is totally new experience for us
I just loved this film...ending jaante hue bhi I was just enjoying this movie....itni achhi screenplay performance by actors, costume.... originality ko barkarar rakhna....
Mujhe film mein sabse achhi baat woh lagi Jo kumud Mishra ke jariye samjhane ki koshish ki gayi....aur woh bilkul sahi hai
Rating nahi diya aapne?
Masterpiece “Amar Singh Chamkila”❤
Ek taraf hamare yaha BMCM jaisi movies banti hai,,,jinki itni hype kar di jaati hai,,,or ek ye chamikla ,,,This is the real content ,,,,
I think this is Daljeet's best performance.
So much to say about this movie:
1) At least respect people in their death.
This is imtiaz ali best work
One of the best film!
Best deeply understand on chamkila.
Firstly I loved
about its cinematography, songs and diljit doshanjh 's performance.
I really liked imtiaz ali's direction. ❤😊😊
No one has the right to ask people to select this or that. I am in love with chamkila and his devotion. Remember I first came to know about chamkila 3 days before the movie
This is a finest film making by Imtiaz Ali.
Deserves a National award
For AR Rahman, Imtiaz Ali, Diljit Dosanj.
diljit paaaji was outstanding.......
This movie made me think that nothing is wrong and nothing is right in this world
whole another league, another masterpiece for lifetime
I like the movie because bhut deep thi , koi khule aam kuch kre toh glt h pr sb chupke vo hi kr rhe h or vo shi h ...
The detection singing and screen play and acting all together ❤❤❤
Can anyone explain why exactly did Chamkila feel bad after his show sold more tickets than Amitabh's? 5:52
Same question popped in my mind
We need this type of movies making.
Beautiful movie!! Bollywood me logo ko sikhna chahiye ki ek biopic ese banai jati hai. Literally movie ye sochne par majboor kr deti h ki kya chamkila galat tha? Mere opinion me to nhi.
