The details you gave seem to line up perfectly. I've been out of the tree removal game for a few years now (body just couldn't keep up with the strain, I'm a fairly small dude admittedly lol), and I've honestly been contemplating starting up a paranormal/cryptid investigation operation, documenting the happenings here in the greater DFW area (of which there are MANY, as I'm sure you know having lived here for many years previously). Madame Skankwater in the first tale sounds like it was a pretty energetic entity if she was able to physically manifest and leave drops of funky water behind and manipulate doors. Perhaps she absorbes fear to give herself a manifestation power up.

I was given a small heap of information from someone tied to a military person, then they disappeared it’s very annoying bc I believe they knew what they were talking about and I want to hear more, hear everything. Anyway they said the reason behind the hell hound lore is that these dog headed things make up much of the personnel in clone rehabilitation realms. Somehow that is the reason people associate them with hell and the dead. But really that isn’t hell, well it is in a way, it’s underground and a clone rehab where a bunch of these things work

I was sad that i had to go to Spotify just to listen to the "Alone in the Woods" podcast! I subbed to listen to your narrations also but your collab with NT was like having my birthday and Christmas all at once! lol Double the sleep inducing gifts! I am subbed to NT as well though just wish the ppl that are so selfish that they couldn't just skip a SINGLE podcast if they didn't care for NT's narrations instead of complaining and making extremely rude comments so that you could have just a little bit of help; a small break so you could have ANY time to spend with your family! It's so important to enjoy your children while they are little or young, they grow up all way too fast. I told him screw all the busy busy go spend time with your new family , you never have a second chance to make memories. When you take your child fishing it's not about catching fish, it's about spending time together as father & son. Enjoy your wife & child(ren). Spend time now, to look back on fondly later. I told him I used to call in sick , just to spend time with my baby daughter. I'd miss a day of pay & have to still pay her nanny. Worth it. I'd take her to the park for a picnic , or go for a train ride to San Francisco. I'm so glad I did that, I will NEVER regret a single " sick day" I ever took .

Soooooo the WA not a deer... Sounds like Fort Casey, which has a huge deer population that is not fearful of people. And as of August we have confirmed Chronic Wasting Disease in eastern WA. All in all, cryptid or really freaky prion disease (honestly give me ghosts and cryptids over prions) I'll be paying a bit more attention when I go to the forts to paint and relax.

For those who say they like Darkness Prevails voice better and you skipped Nature's Temper. Yea, that's not a compliment. That's not loyalty. That's not helping the channel. I don't think some of you understand what it meant to have Nature's Tempers help and what it means for him to no longer be employed by the channel. If you're loyal, you'll support the channel however you can. This includes listening to a voice you don't like. NT helping out by narrating a whole podcast meant DP could free up some time for his family. He has two small children and a wife, they deserve some of his time. Now that's more work, a lot more work and a whole lot less time with his family. Work is important but his family is more important. The channel no longer employing Nature's Temper also means the channel can't sustain the cost...which means the channel is losing revenue. DP is constantly stressing over how to make some of y'all happy, it's impossible because people whine over anything and everything. So if you're cheering over NT no longer narrating this podcast, just what are you cheering about? It's not a win. It's a loss. It's a major loss.

I think you’re taking it too literally. The whole point of that story seems to be how the tale changes over time and depends on who’s telling it. the point seems to be folklore changes but one thing stays the same and for certain regardless of details or changes in the story that bridge is haunted by something.

Yes. It’s more ripped off but lots of times people who get hit or ran over lose limps. So if the tire caught the neck then yes definitely could happen.
