Alhamdulillah Sheikh is absolutely right about the dying of nationalism. For example we Bangladeshi used to hate Pakistan a lot for decades because of nationalism and secularism which started from 1952. But it was Indians govt who used our emotion and divided us. But now Alhamdulillah we are knowing the actual history that happened which was hidden for us. Now Pak-Bangla brotherhood is reviving again. Pray for us so that we can unite again as One Ummah and teach Indian Govt a lesson.

TabarakaAllah, Sheikh Uthman brings up some incredibly important points, especially about supporting at-risk youth who have been incarcerated. As Muslims, we have a responsibility to help these individuals reintegrate into society, offering them guidance, job opportunities, and a path away from potential negative influences. His critique of relying on protests or lobbying also strikes a chord-real change starts within our communities, with us taking action. How can we, as a community, offer these youth a sense of belonging and purpose? Sheikh Uthman’s call for collaboration over drama is a powerful reminder for Muslims to prioritize unity over division. Working together for a greater cause can uplift the Ummah. To the youth, ask yourselves: are you contributing to the betterment of your community, or just consuming content? Let's focus on building something meaningful by the will of Allah.
Allah says in Surah An-Nisa verse 79: Whatever good befalls us is from Allah and whatever evil befalls us is from ourselves and because we have free will if we do good then good will be facilitated and we engage in evil then evil will be facilitated. The help of Allah will come and it will be felt across the world just as soon as all of us who have taken oath to submit our will to the will of Allah fix our mindset and priorities first, otherwise we end up hurting and wronging ourselves, Allah doesn’t need us we need him.. so when we let go of Allah’s commands and the traditional values and standards of previous pious generation and start to invent new ideas and practices that don’t necessarily align with Islams core values and principles of our intended purpose of life. Again we’re not going to be successful until we fix ourselves as individuals and as communities at large and all of us start to adhere to the correct principles of Islam and folllow the proper standards and guidelines set by Allah and taught by his prophets including Muhammad (PBUH). Remember, time may change certain aspects of life, but it will never change the truth from Allah and his prophets
The preservation and veracity of our Quran and the ability of our ummah to memorize it is one of the strongest taking points when making dawah or debating non Muslims. I once asked a Christian evangelical to recite from memory the first page of the Bible and he stumbled. I then asked him to list for me the Ten Commandments and he only got to number six. And this is someone who by their own admission had spent over a decade studying the Bible at a seminary. Subhan’Allah, our religion is preserved and cherished in ways that the books of the kufar cannot be.
What if I showed you a religion where there is scholarly consensus n it’s actually a fact my holy book is only one unchanged would u love God enough to convert to the religion he clearly guided u too since Gods book can’t be corrupt and its preservation cannot be weaker then another major religions

Masha Allah.. Sheikh Usman for your dawah work.. May Allah accept your work.. If Sheikh is proud about the Continuous Oral Transmittance of Quran, then he also should listen and follow the teachings of Imams.. But Modern day salafis like him don't respect the teachings of earlier Imams.. And always stick to Hadiths as Kitabs..
The Ahruf dont just change styles of recitation it changes the meaning too. The way the ahruf manifest: Different words, identical meaning- in order to accommodate the dialects of the arabs Different words, synonymous meaning- to subtly expound upon what the Quran is saying Different words, different meaning- In order to expound upon the recitation. Eg "Ajibta" "Ajibtu" (You marvel/ I marvel). That is not the same meaning, it's different Regardless, all of it came from the prophet, all of it is the Quran because what is the Quran? *It is the recitation that the prophet recited for 23 years until the end of his earthly life, that he acknowledged as Quran (negates abrogated verses)* And since all the ahruf were revealed in this period and acknowledged by the prophet as Quran, they're all Quran. The Quran is multiformic by nature, meaning comes in multiple different forms that can't be recited simultaneously (cant say both ajibtu and ajibta simultaneously) and requires you to express this 1 Quran in various iterations (ie the 10 qiraat books that express the 1 Quran). And before the christians get excited, this is not a logical contradiction like their 3 in 1. We acknowledge the reality of plurality in the singular (Eg Allah is 1 God (ilah) with 99 real attributes), but we don't acknowledge contradiction like when you say that each part (person) of the singular (god) is identical to the singular (the father is identical to god, the son is identical to god but the father is not identical to the son), this is a logical contradiction. Whereas saying that the 10 books are 1 quran is due to the definition of what the Quran is; what was recited by the prophet in a given time period. All of the 10 qiraat meet that definition since all the ahruf that constitute the qiraat were recited in the time of the prophet. We don't say that 1 qiraat is the full quran, the 2nd qiraat is the full quran, the 3rd qiraat is the full quran etc. If we did, THEN we'd be idiots like the christians, making a logical contradiction. We say that all the ahruf make up the full Quran collectively.
Salam brother . Keep up the good work. However, I believe you should modify the title of the podcast because there is a misnomer in there in the phrase "modern quran" which would imply that there is a different quran that existed before as is the case for Christian.
The easiest way is to watch videos of Muslims preaching Islam, or make him watch them if you can. You can learn the questions that are on your husband's mind by asking him, then you can search for those topics on UA-cam and have him watch their answers. Or you can explain it to him after watching and learning the answers to those questions yourself.
May Allah make it easy for you and bless you for all your efforts my dear sister. Remember that it is Allah who gives guidance, this will take a lot of pressure from your shoulders inshaallah. Like the brother/sister said above, pray and especially pray tahajjud inshaallah. Every night. Our deen has so many layers and sides alhamdulillah, some people are more interested in the scientific part, some in the spritual, etc. Try to find what your husband is interested the most. And sometimes we dont hear what the closest to us tell us. Like parents with children or husband and wife. You can try to get one of your friends' husband with good islamic knowledge to talk to him, you know.. just casually. May Allah guide your husband and all of us amin. take care my dear sister 🩷
JazakAllah for all the kind responses. Yes, I pray tahajjud ; I'm learning to read the Quran and I'm taking aqidah, seerah, tajweed and tafseer classes. Alhamduillah He has a second chance right now, having spent 9 days in the hospital recently. I have only been practicing for a little over one year. I'm afraid to push but speak gently about Islam to him. I don't think he watches the UA-cam forwards. The closest mosque is over one hour, no Muslims in my area. I'm getting everything online. Thank you so much!
THIS : 55:45 Literally explains the entire issue and the same thing I've seen during protests, the same Muslims lining the streets don't take care of their salah even - like it or not, that's a form of shirk that you've put your trust in your actions as opposed to Allah (SWT). O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as guardians-they are guardians of each other.1 Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (5:51)
I think those bodyguards are not there to block people planning to HARM the scholars. But these scholars are cherished and always on the move from one point to another for a full day programme especially when they are overseas. People who look up to them and sort of hard core fan tebd to swarm them to kiss their hands, ask for duas, ask for tips, ask for anything....would cause delays and may endanger the whole crowd if went uncontrolled. Eventually causing delay to the subsequent event at a different location. But when they are in their homeland esp in the area of their madrasahs, they are more relaxed, just close students and friends companying them everywhere.
Assalm o alakium can I use your content to create UA-cam shorts I will be posting them on my channel Let me know if you don’t allow me copyright permission so I can take it down Otherwise I will continue posting May Allah reward you
Good podcast but 2 points need to be made: The shiekh talk about leave the drama but caused drama himself with Daniel Haqiqatou which was totally wrong. he mentions UK issues travelled over the pond but issues with the likes of Yaqeen have been happening for many years these are not UK related.
Quran was burned by the consensus of the companions, due to the vetted and authenticated nature of the Quran that uthman compiled compared to the burned quran (what was burned were the *companion codices* , unfinished qurans, quran with exegetical notes on them etc). There were companion readings of the quran that they documented in companion codices (Quran learned by the companions from the prophet, companions heard the prophet recite different ahruf between them because the Quran was revealed in 7 "modes of recitation" aka ahruf) and these companions went and taught the quran in the way they learned it from the prophet in different regions. *Note that the companion readings were not vetted or corroborated, so the chain of transmission for their Qurans relied solely upon the respective companion being completely right about what they heard, these are called Ahad reports* The muslims from these different regions would learn the quran in different ahruf (whatever the companion they learned from had taught them), and uthman called them all together into the army to fight for him [i think it was against the romans]. But then they began disputing about whose recitation is best. Uthman wanted to resolve this by standardising the reading (NOT remove all ahruf) and accommodate as many ahruf as possible within the skeletal structure of his codex; this was achieved by producing a Quran that is multiply attested to by multiple companions AND is without dots or vowels in order to accommodate the ahruf. *Strategic* The companion codices relied on 1 companion transmitting the Quran from the prophet perfectly which is possible but there is room for doubt and uncertainty, whereas the codex of Uthman relied on multiple attestation. At minimum, for Uthman's codex, each verse of the Quran needed 2 witnesses to corroborate it, and the added bonus of being able to compare the written quran with the quran memorised by the companions. These are checks and balances to vet the Quran and ensure its preservation, there is not the room for doubt like there would be if we relied solely on companion codices that were not vetted. And by the way, the majority of the readings of the companions (eg ibn masud, ubay ibn kaab) are actually incorporated in the 10 qiraat, so their readings were not abandoned. In reality, the variant readings in companion codices from the uthmanic codex are minimal compared with how much from their codices is corroborated by the uthmanic codex Another important point is to know that the ahruf are a concession, meaning a mercy, they are a sunnah that could be left behind or adopted. You don't need to keep to sunnah's like you do for Fard. That's why it is no issue knowing that many if not MOST ahruf that the prophet recited in reality have been left behind. Just like the option of merging prayers when travelling, one can leave it off if they want, or adopt it. We know it is a concession because of the hadith of the prophet saying that the ahruf of SUFFICIENTLY healing, eg "maalik" is sufficient just like "malik" is. If we were to leave malik behind and not preserve it, it would not effect the preservation due to ahruf not needing to be preserved. So preserving the ahruf was a luxury, an added benefit of having a preserved Quran Sahih bukhari 4992 "...'It was revealed in this way. This Qur'an has been revealed to be recited in seven different ways, so recite of it whichever (way) is easier for you' (or read as much of it as may be easy for you)." Abi dawud 1477 Ubayy b. Ka'b reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Ubayy, I was asked to recite the Qur'an and I was asked: 'In one mode or two modes?' The angel that accompanied me said: 'Say, in two modes', I said: 'In two modes', I was asked again: 'In two or three modes'. The matter reached up to seven modes. He then said: *'Each mode is sufficiently health-giving* , whether you utter 'all-hearing and all-knowing' or instead 'all-powerful and all-wise'. This is valid until you finish the verse indicating punishment on mercy and finish the verse indicating mercy on punishment."
He didn’t mention a book at 09:54. However, the trail of Imam Ahmed is well known in the islamic history, unfortunately, I don’t know any book which was authored specifically about it not because there is none rather because I don’t have any knowledge.

You sound confused
Allahuma barik
The Ahruf dont just change styles of recitation it changes the meaning too. The way the ahruf manifest:
Different words, identical meaning- in order to accommodate the dialects of the arabs
Different words, synonymous meaning- to subtly expound upon what the Quran is saying
Different words, different meaning- In order to expound upon the recitation. Eg "Ajibta" "Ajibtu" (You marvel/ I marvel). That is not the same meaning, it's different
Regardless, all of it came from the prophet, all of it is the Quran because what is the Quran?
We muslims need to embrace this plurality understanding of the Quran, it is such an important distinction between our scripture and the previous ones
Masha Allah
1:33:40 spot on ☝🏻 go back to the Quran and Sunnah
Amazing
Salam brother . Keep up the good work. However, I believe you should modify the title of the podcast because there is a misnomer in there in the phrase "modern quran" which would imply that there is a different quran that existed before as is the case for Christian.

I'm not your brother from Yemen but please ignore my sister from Yemen 😅.

I am your brother from Yemen, and please ignore the other Yemeni brother who poses like a Yemeni sister and begs for money, he is a famous scammer

I am your brother from Yemen please ignore both my brother and sister and let people watch video 😂😂
Subhanallah awesome episode! But slow down on the sugar Sheikh 😅
Can somehow recommend to me a book or anything to give dawah to my husband? He's 77, I think I'm going about it the wrong way😢
The easiest way is to watch videos of Muslims preaching Islam, or make him watch them if you can. You can learn the questions that are on your husband's mind by asking him, then you can search for those topics on UA-cam and have him watch their answers. Or you can explain it to him after watching and learning the answers to those questions yourself.
Of course, don't forget to pray. because Prayer is the Key to everything. quran 40/60 And your Lord said: "Call on Me and I will respond to you."
Alhamduillah
He has a second chance right now, having spent 9 days in the hospital recently. I have only been practicing for a little over one year. I'm afraid to push but speak gently about Islam to him. I don't think he watches the UA-cam forwards. The closest mosque is over one hour, no Muslims in my area. I'm getting everything online. Thank you so much!
Is your husband's background Christian or what religion?

Literally explains the entire issue and the same thing I've seen during protests, the same Muslims lining the streets don't take care of their salah even - like it or not, that's a form of shirk that you've put your trust in your actions as opposed to Allah (SWT).
O believers! Take neither Jews nor Christians as guardians-they are guardians of each other.1 Whoever does so will be counted as one of them. Surely Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people. (5:51)
False, Christians and Jews were not guardian to eachother, evident from history 😂😂😂

The scholars have bodyguards the كبار العلمة
Assalm o alakium can I use your content to create UA-cam shorts
I will be posting them on my channel
Let me know if you don’t allow me copyright permission so I can take it down
Otherwise I will continue posting

Quran was burned by the consensus of the companions, due to the vetted and authenticated nature of the Quran that uthman compiled compared to the burned quran (what was burned were the *companion codices* , unfinished qurans, quran with exegetical notes on them etc).
There were companion readings of the quran that they documented in companion codices (Quran learned by the companions from the prophet, companions heard the prophet recite different ahruf between them because the Quran was revealed in 7 "modes of recitation" aka ahruf) and these companions went and taught the quran in the way they learned it from the prophet in different regions. *Note that the companion readings were not vetted or corroborated, so the chain of transmission for their Qurans relied solely upon the respective companion being completely right about what they heard, these are called Ahad reports*
The muslims from these different regions would learn the quran in different ahruf (whatever the companion they learned from had taught them), and uthman called them all together into the army to fight for him [i think it was against the romans].
*Strategic*
The companion codices relied on 1 companion transmitting the Quran from the prophet perfectly which is possible but there is room for doubt and uncertainty, whereas the codex of Uthman relied on multiple attestation. In reality, the variant readings in companion codices from the uthmanic codex are minimal compared with how much from their codices is corroborated by the uthmanic codex
Another important point is to know that the ahruf are a concession, meaning a mercy, they are a sunnah that could be left behind or adopted. So preserving the ahruf was a luxury, an added benefit of having a preserved Quran
Sahih bukhari 4992
"...'It was revealed in this way. This Qur'an has been revealed to be recited in seven different ways, so recite of it whichever (way) is easier for you' (or read as much of it as may be easy for you)."
Abi dawud 1477
Ubayy b. Ka'b reported:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Ubayy, I was asked to recite the Qur'an and I was asked: 'In one mode or two modes?' The angel that accompanied me said: 'Say, in two modes', I said: 'In two modes', I was asked again: 'In two or three modes'.
You have been quite composed.
Just one point to my understanding what and why animal like face on your seat, or is it something else?

Answer: Muhammed Saw
الله أكبر
Awesome podcast....
Do we know of any prophets to native Indians?
Guru Nanak and when he was sent he went around the world as far as his feet can take him (he’s most travelled man on earth by foot)
The Hindus Buddhist n Muslims followed him there is 140-175million of them
Probably, early vedic texts display a unique amount of monism when it comes to the concept of Brahman, I would not be surprised if it was a concept evolved from a prophet preaching tawheed.
