I felt the innocence of Chrissy while she confessed to Tim's questions at the end of the clip. Chrissy represented the feeling of most of the provincial people in Philippines. They are awaiting to see the world. It's quite a relationship between Tim and Chrissy since they came from completely different worlds. It's an art to compromise themselves before they can be compatible to each others.

Welcome to Singapore!!!! I'm your Singapore fan! I've been watching your youtube channel since Harald dropped by the Philippines. I'm sure you guys have been here a couple of days, Its funny to see that the first place you guys go to was Lucky Plaza haha I hope you have tried the food at East Coast Park for BBQ Seafood and Satay, Changi Village for Nasi Lemak. If you are just hanging around in the city, Newton Hawker or Gluttons by the Bay beside the Esplanade has really good food - of course the prices are a little higher at these places. If you ask the locals we'll tell you the the late night gems we'd like to go to for supper. Have fun and I hope you guys enjoy Singapore!
BRAVO..!! BRAVO..!! Tim & Chrissy K. in Sinapore. I was on Aircraft Carrier 80-83 Westpac 1981 we moored in harbor at Singapore for 1 week. Absolutely LOVED it. Food was AMAZING, City was Spotlessly Clean. Even the waterfront. Was Expensive on E-4 pay. Good thing we'd Saved many paychecks be4 we arrived there. English is widely spoken there. Also, Chinese Mandarin & Cantonese. As well as Indonesian, & many other dialects as well. A Real melting pot of Asian & Oriental Cultures. Also India. People were cultured, friendly & Polite. For the most part anyway. At least was my experience in 1 week. World famous Chef's elevated Culinary Cuisine's. Even the Street-Vendors on waterfront had most Delicious panko jumbo PRAWNS. Lightly dusted & lightly deep fried not greasy or oily at all. The savory sweet Dipping sauces were World class phenomenally Delicious 😋! ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Remember that Singapore began life as a broken colonial tropical backwater ex British colony. It was a mosquito infested swamp . If started life as a third world nation breaking away from Malaysia. There was poor housing, no work, inadequate government services , sewerage and utilities and very few jobs to give people income or draw taxes from. It’s had everything going against it and nothing much to like back then. In one generation , just one generation, Singapore was a turned from another no hope impoverished country to an advanced ,wealthy , first world, open economy, profitable, low debt, fully modernised , efficient, can do , no waste, no graft , no corruption , no delinquency, no smoking, english speaking safe first world success story. They even got rid of the mosquitoes too. There will never be an Asian success story like Singapore. Enjoy.

If you are new to Singapore its difficult to understand most local accent, it takes time, but not all.
Oh my gosh. Just seeing the airport in Manila. My son is returning from Manila July 6th. Haven’t seen him for 6 months. I’m already teary.
