It does, but isn't it most of people's fate? Will we just keep saying that it sucks and make everyone feel bad about this life and doesn't wanna go forward? We should at least encourage teenagers mostly, they are passing through a difficult phase where they realise what's good and bad in life and get an image of life and go through mental hardships..so shouldn't older people encourage them instead of telling them that being an adult sucks? Life isn't easy. This show reminded me how integrity, patience, perseverance and having the right people around you can make your life meaningful. I relate to this show alot. This was and still is my favorite show I've ever watched.
Whenever I hear this song, I would just remember the scene when Saeroyi father died and the way he cried on his funeral, regretting that he take everything for granted. And the scene where he got into accident and dream of his father. Whenever he remember his father asking "How does it taste (soju)?" "It's still bitter" it really hit me😢😢. And when his father want him to cross the bridge with him in a place where you cant't feel pain anymore but he refused because he still want to live life with his friends and the way how his father said that he's proud of cause finally he knew the true meaning of living.

I really liked the bridge scene in Itaewon Class. This story is very very emotional. The boy has been fighting all his life for his revenge, his rights; his dignity and freedom. And when he was told: "if you cross the bridge; you will not suffer anymore"; he has the courage to refuse to die and continue his fight.
I cried when I saw this scene. We see how extraordinary human beings are. Because the faith, the hope that everything is going to be okay despite everything. To succeed in overcoming even if we start losing; this is perhaps our greatest power...

Itaewon Class is by far one of the best dramas I've watched in the last 12 years, since I started to watch korean dramas. ♥ I stayed in Itaewon during some vacations I spent in Seoul and it is funny to see in this drama some of the bars and other places I went while I was there.

i exactly finished the itaewon class and after that my mom died because of ovarian cancer, and when i heard that song, it's make me emotional because i remember my mother, she'd still fighting because of me even though the pain that she feels make her suffered and i finally realized that it's pain to grow up because i know i cant feel my mother anymore 💔😢

Ahhh I love that this line makes so much sense to me now. I've just realized that growing up is so hard. All my life, I have only looked at things that made my life easy and comfortable. I wanted to grow up so bad before, but now that I am on a stage of becoming a young adult and making decisions for myself, it's really hard. I thought when I grow up things will be very easy but really it's not. You have to make decisions for your future and may even let go of things you want just to make everything okay.
It's really great that a simple line holds an immense meaning of life.

I was constantly thinking of giving up sometimes whenever I encounter difficulties. I was thinking of how unfair this world we are living in right now. I was thinking of how I could end this miserable day, but I started to think that this is how life is. It is a matter of how you will survive and what are the things you will do to survive this cruel world. This drama made me realize a lot of things. A lesson that I may apply in the future. For those who are having a hard time, we will get through it and survive this cruel world.
