Amazing that no matter much you spend on a caravan, human errors still occur. Very scary as this could easily have led to a fire, and guess what would have got blamed - lithium batteries!!! Enjoy your presentations, very easy to watch. We have spent quite some time around the areas you visited and still haven't heard of many of the spots you visited. Thank you.
I think you are very correct and it should not have occurred. But I can say with good backup service and the van now a joy to use, we will quickly forget the shakedown issues and focus on the place we go. Glad you enjoyed it found learnt some new locations . Cheers for watching
New subscribers and really enjoyed your video. It's great to have older caravaners which makes viewing a pleasure. Lovely music. As you may have gathered, we are in the older demographic and while the youngsters are adventurous, their music is often so loud. Well done on your channel.
Thanks for your comment, we are glad you have enjoyed the video. I know what you mean by the music, we follow a couple of younger ones as we enjoy their locations and content, but sometimes I show my age as the music grates one me. 😊 Travel safe and we may see you on the road one day. Paul & Deb
What a nice beginning from the start of your Zone pick up, it’s great to see the Vineyard open up to caravans, it’s a win win for both travellers and business. The old homestead- cattle station looked amazing, the owner if time allows should open up a shed for coffee tea and scones, as you mentioned the S.E. corner of QLD is now busy, and van parks etc are usually full, it makes sense to cater for us zone people! 😅 thankyou for your accommodation tips.
Thanks, we are certainly enjoying our van, its been flawless since our shakedown service and we are getting away from the SE corner and finding a mix of remote camps by ourselves and bush camps with like minded vanners. Cheers
Great to see you on the road. Thanks for all the information. Interesting to see the battery position now. We look forward to your upcoming episodes. No coffee in the morning? Not good, we can totally understand 😂😂. It's great to hear that everything has been rectified with absolutely no issues. That was our experience dealing with Zone directly as well. Great after sales service.
Another great video, It is good to see that your new van is working out well, teething problems (issues) can be annoying, but I see they where quick to fix, That's good. Just a little side note: 26:30 on your video 😀😀😀you change to a left hand drive vehicle.
Thanks Craig. We enjoy it the further west we go 😊 The hinterland is beautiful, but the remoteness as we are now out at Quilpie is what we really enjoy.
we also just had our first 4 day shake down, same issue with the lounge and kitchen blinds. We also have an electrical issue but not the same issue you had. I agree the Zone response and warranty approval has been seamless but that doesn't take away its still disappointing these issue aren't picked up through testing. My electrical issue is when the van is plugged into mains, the batteries are charging but the power in the van is randomly receiving the shore power to the outlets or microwave and sometimes it isn't. when its not we turn the inverter on and we receive power. Lets hope its a simple diagnosis and resolved as easy as your issues were. I'm dropping our van off to a redarc network service center tomorrow.
Thats definitely a strange one, hope it's fixed real quick for you guys. Yes, I agree. These issues can be disappointing, but if they get fixed quickly like ours was, you soon forget them and enjoy what a great caravan you have, as we are getting so much delight out of our travels. We might catch you on the road somewhere. Cheers
