Honestly I feel like Wolf (all-rounder), Grizzly (Melee and Heavy Weapons), Fox (Medic), and...Raven (Stealth and Sniper) would be a good team...also the theme is on point as team "Beast Mode"
It runs into relationship issues. Mouse dislikes Fox and Livewire dislikes Raven. I can mitigate some effects by keeping them separate, but it still causes some annoying complications. :)
@@RetconRaider oh I meant for the 2nd mercenary team, I don't know the relationship between Raven and Fox but it's probably better then Mouse/Fox or Livewire/Fox and Fox is fond of Grizzly and Wolf
I'd really love to see this style in a fantasy setting. I know there's plenty of action crpgs etc but I love the mechanics of JA and think it would fit really well in a DnD setting.
One of the ways that would be good to handle firearms in general is putting most of the damage on the bullet, and the gun would just be modifier or damage bonus (depending on how powerful the gun is) For example, a 9mm deals 10 damage, and all guns with that ammo will have (10 damage + gun modifier). The modifier can be minus, plus, or zero Cataclysm DDA works this way, and the damage is quite balanced. Including automatic weapons. It's strong and dangerous because it uses big caliber ammo It's easier to streamline firearms damage that way
I guess with automatic weapons the recoil means it's harder to stay consistently on target during a burst. So individual bullets may lose effectiveness as part of a burst. I'm not a firearms expert though, so anyone with more insight is welcome to comment.
i think the theory of full autos doing less damage is that you are spraying giving a higher chance to hit but fewer bullets are hitting the target dealing less avrage damage.
I suppose, it just feels like it should be the other way around. Individual bullets still doing full damage, but greater recoil resulting in lower accuracy.
Gosh darn it, I missed this entire map. Just gotta finish about another 500 hours of BG3 first so I can come back and finish my second play through. Also, gas masks are definitely going to come in handy further down the line...
Not that it matters too much, but I think it’s Ka-leen-a instead of Ka-lynn-a. That’s how it’s pronounced in the Ukrainian song ‘Oi u luzi chervona kalyna’.
Was there a punchline to that trailer park tag joke or... It was very Phoenix Point of that veteran brute to take a grenade and 6 bullets to the face and still be alive.
Retcon: "Let's cut this short."
*aims for the groin*
Retcon. Geeze. Inappropriate.
:D
One can pause by hitting the spacebar now! Actually rather useful.
Awesome episode as always!
I normally only chuckle at the puns, but "stock in a random soup recipe" got me good.
Glad I'm not the only one noticing that lol
Ouf. I like to think my English is pretty good, but I had to look up alternate translations for "stock" to get what you were on about. ^-^'

Scouting only works for adjacent tiles, not for the tile you are in, good Sir. I am slightly impressed how you handled the bunker, though - good work!

Call of Cthulhu and Traveler handle the deadliness of automatic weapons well.
Great episode

wait.. i get where one group came from but second one? bunker was clear in that direction. weird
I know I'm "a little" late to the party but I heard that if you hire someone before the person they have a problem with, it doesn't become an issue?
That does seem to be the case, at least with some characters. :)
@@RetconRaider *The more you know.* 💫
You ll see the usefulness of the masks shortly, just make sure you fix them.
How ominous!
But yeah, I'll patch them up and stash them in central Flea Town for the time being. :)
