I recently got Dehancer and I love it. But, I saw in the video that his using version 6.3.3 and I got 6.3.0 and I believe that's why I don't have the RED Komodo (I see that Raptor is not available) option in the camera input. Is there a way to upgrade? Thanks.
@@EatDrinkShare The RED Komodo should be part of it, I got it even before version 6 was out, maybe something went wrong when downloading the camera profiles. You should try to download them again if that’s possible, you might have to deinstall and install Dehancer again, just make sure to follow their step by step guide from the manual as I think you need to sign out beforehand.
Wow, I just watched the Dehancer Pro video and it was absolutely amazing! The way it transformed the footage was just incredible. The colors were so vibrant and the details were brought out so beautifully. I've been using Dehancer Pro for a while now, but this video has really opened my eyes to just how powerful this tool can be. Hey Morty! While you're on the topic of film emulation, have you tried Filmbox by Video Village? It blew me away. I was never happy with the results from Dehancer, Dehancer always seemed muddy and washed out to me. Then I learned that Dehancer created their emulation using scans of photo prints on photo paper, something that real film would never do. Filmbox was created by scanning actual motion picture film, and it looks much more realistic. And even better, they have a free version called Filmbox Lite. I'd love to see you make a video comparing Dehancer versus Filmbox! Keep up the great work!

I recently downloaded the demo version and am excited to start playing with it! Curious how it compares with Magic Bullet Looks, which I've used for quite some time for heavier grades.
@@MortyFilms After experimenting with both, trying to keep the settings as similar as possible, I like the look of Dehancer way way more than Magic Bullet. On one hand, Magic Bullet I think is better if you want to go with a more "modern" look, as it's film prints are really limited compared to Dehancer. I prefer a more analogue filmic look though over "modern". Magic Bullet gives you tons and tons of more options and things you can add to the footage (flares, light leaks, color correction nodes, etc) but I think it actually gives you too many controls. Dehancer has a lot of control, but it feels manageable. I think I'm gonna go for it and pick up the full version.

Those and pretty much all other shots where shot on my RED Komodo and the Vazen 40mm 1.8x anamorphic. I’ve made a video about this combination: ua-cam.com/video/0qykpOjZfaY/v-deo.html The one exception is the shot where I specifically say “this was shot on my Sony a6300 and a [Helios 44-2]”
