Just a tip if you install these tight enough to a metal surface they will not vibrate. I recommend you mount the aluminum light bady directly to a metal surface because it will extend the life of the led diodes. Heat is any led's arch enemy! When mounted directly to a metal surface your expanding the heat sink. Your lights will stay cooler hence extending the life of the diodes and will also keep the light output maximized while in use.
I've been looking for a set of lights for my Dodge truck. I have led lights (rope type) under the sides just above my running boards for night vision getting in and out when I open the doors. They look great but having to use double sided tap on things like this doesn't hold up in the weather. This is something I've been looking for to replace my existing ones. Fixing to install a flatbed and these would be great wired in to my running board lights to have visibility all the way around when I open my door and hitting that unlock button on the fob. Great video. I really like when people use something completely different than what something was made for and make it their own. 👍
Thanks Wolf! Yea, I totally used them for something they weren’t made for. I love them and the are sleek too! They are great for the price as well. Keep me posted once you install them. Thanks for watching and supporting!

So typically you’d just run the power to the battery if your using them as rock lights?
To the battery or a light switch controller

I love the way they came out and look on the Prospeed roof rack!
question, do these rock lights conflict with your awning?
do these point out to the ground or?
Nope, I cut the rubber base to angle them down. They've worked great and look good on the #Prospeedrack
