Hello, this van life video was a lot of fun to produce, I hope you have fun watching it. If you’re hungry for more then check out this playlist… tinyurl.com/3mvt66mz BTW What was your favourite food item in this video? Ken 😎
Why did you take a couple weeks off? We rely on you uploading content every week at least. I live when I never plan on watching your videos and I waste 50 minutes watching something that really has no merit.Great stuff
@@Carguy0882 No offense but back off man. Check out his second channel ken Domik and he will explain it. Or keep up with him. He lets us know when he takes breaks and when hell be back.
I hope more people would subscribe. There are lots of channels today in UA-cam that are food/mukbang-related, but not all of them show the "self-care" like this. Others would just eat and eat for ASMR, but this shows the personal side of the vlogger. Camping/van life as me-time? Burning off unwanted calories after eating (as we all should)? What you see is what you get. More power to you, Ken.
Well to be honest, It’s very common for us Filipinos to eat full deep fried dishes for breakfast. It keeps us full and satisfied for a good few hours or so
Hi Ken, im From the Philippines, I grew up near a Jollibee from our house. Jollibee started out as an icecream parlor during the 70's but eventually ventured in to Burgers in the 80's...all of the food in the Jollibee stores in Canada and US and other parts of the world are being shipped from PH from the main commissary. the gravy is for the chicken and i suggest u use a spoon when eating with rice =) the burger steak and rice is a good combination, u should eat it together =) palabok can be for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...no worries when u feel trying it... the spaghetti is made for kids because of the sweetness and its common for us to cook spaghetti with hotdogs on it =)
additional info Filipinos ests rice for breakfast...with local sausage, or hotdogs, spam, corned beef, fried dried fish, of course with eggs and a lot of rice..this is to compensate the field work that most men do, Farming and hard labour, however. you have mentioned that Jollibee Ontario doesn't serve breakfast...well. maybe you can Email Jollibee regarding that matter... Try also looking for Filipino restaurants in the area and share your experience with us...try Adobo, Pork sisig, Lechon, barbecued chicken intestines, Midnught stew (aka pork blood stew), beef caldereta, Garlic rice...just use spoon when eating those.. =) anyhow, i love watching your "foodocumentaries"..so please keep it coming...stay safe!!!
I remember having Jollibees in Manhattan last year. The fried chicken was pretty good but the chicken sandwiches were to die for. The pineapple mango pie was tasty as well.
One thing that came to my mind about Jollibee opening up early is their catering to people who are working the overnight shifts possibly coming off work and looking for something to eat. To me it's smart because a lot of the other fast-food restaurants don't start serving stuff like that until 10:30 or 11 a.m.
@@MEPI_Properties_Projects nope? steve is speakin based on knowledge of this location which is true . when i worked midnights i didnt always want breakfast after work
I definitely see this being the case Plus when people come off overnight shift we don't really want breakfast despite the fact that it's morning I work the overnight and basically since you have lunch at work when you get home you kind of want something like dinner
Here in the Philippines we have breakfast items but for me the most interesting of those is the pancake sandwich which is the bun is basically replaced with pancake and it has egg and bacon it's really good
I had my first Jollibee meal in their first store in the Philippines just after the owners turned their Ice Cream House into Jollibee. The Ice Cream House was one of my favorite places back then and usually visited it every other month. I was very surprised when I discoveted that it was already a chicken house but ate there nevertheless. Fell in love with their chicken at first bite. Also with their Burger which was not yet popular to many Filipinos back then. 🙂
Jollibee looks soooo good, would love to try! None in my area. Too bad, chicken and the mango pie looks like heaven! Awesome vid, Ken! Hope you’re having fun in Vancouver! Stay safe! Happy anniversary to you and Carol! 💕💕😃😎
Every time I see a UA-camr eating Jollibee's, it makes me so sad that they're not in Ohio! Preferably the Cincinnati area. Everything they have looks so delicious. Come on Jollibee and open one in Cincinnati! I think you would take over KFC's overly salted chicken!
@@Twilliams60142 I figured out there is one in Plano Texas. Not a place I'd want to eat tho . I'm not a fast food person. When I googled it and saw they have fried chicken and spaghetti both it just made me think 🤔. Nahhh
Hi Ken! Been watching your videos for about a year now, thanks so much for making them! They've definitely helped me and I'm sure many other get through the pandemic and lockdown. Love these 24 hours van life videos. I'm from NY but have to get back to Canada and try all the awesome food you've had.
When i was stuck at home suffering from covid i used to watch your van camping all the time, now that im better it kinda feels good to see your videos again
Love the vids, as always! Just wanna say that breakfast doesn’t have to be eggs/waffles/cereal or whatever. We’re conditioned to think that, but literally any food will do. Check out what other countries have for breakfast….you’ll blow your mind 😝
Perfect timing for the pies, I believe a new Jolibee was just built and opened recently near me. I will definetly give it them a try. Coming from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada!
Some suggestions for future stealth camps: -Superstore/Save On Foods -IKEA -Humpty’s -IHOP -Smitty’s -Canadian Brewhouse -Symposium Cafe/Neabours (Lindsay Square Mall area) I also like the idea of doing one certain type of food (Italian, Indian etc) for 24 hours. Maybe try a couple different places and end up camping at one. Also, doing a “24 hours stealth camp at low/high rated restaurants”
This makes me so happy that you love Filipino food and was so excited for this stealth! Also the fact that you love the palabok which isn’t a super known dish!! I WISH you could try the breakfast at Jollibee! Omgg you would’ve enjoyed your stealth WAY MORE!! But I do reccoment If you can find a local Filipino spot, definitely make a video of trying common breakfast items!! (Tocino, Longanisa, corned beef & garlic rice! pan de sal etc!)
I tried JolliBees in New York in June. The Chicken Sandwich was very crispy and juicy. The fries were alright.Very busy out the door and down the sidewalk.I Love you and Carol. Thanks for the Awesome videos you share with us.They only had Chicken for meat no hamburgers.
Yay for Jollibee ! Of all the camping videos this one has me the most excited for ! Many people like fried chicken 🍗 and burgers 🍔 for breakfast so I think it’s so cool they open early ! Unfortunately we don’t have any Jollibee in Quebec but maybe one day I will get to try it’s on my bucket list anyway ! Thanks for doing this video Ken ! ❤️

Tourist trap, just drove past it, line ups a mile long from both doors. For those unaware they switched burger suppliers in the 90's and its nowhere as good as it use to be. I take newbies to muskoka there, but I never stop myself.
Hot dogs. I've been to Jollibees but it was a long time ago. Had the Spaghetti and hot dog slices. The food is good. There a Jollibees in Los Angeles and it's very busy too. Glad you didn't get a ticket or towed. Thanks for doing this and bringing us along. Take care.
@KBDProductionsTV Just a recommendation but I truly believe a 24 hour timer counting up to or counting down will give something extra to these videos. Even if it's not entirely accurate it'll give viewers an idea and a kinda goal.

You've probably covered this in another video, but how did you get all of the bike shots? Obviously a 360 degree camera, but how did you get all of the angles? Fantastic work. Oh...the food was pretty epic too 😉
fun fact: jollibee is 24hrs on 90% of their branches here in the Philippines. so chickenjoy is available all day, everyday. i work nights and i eat chicken before i go home at 6am lol

Here in CA, Jollibee offers breakfast like garlic rice and beef tapa with egg, garlic rice and filipino sausage or longganisa and egg, garlic rice and corned beef with egg, all sooo delicious. Of course, hot coffee too.
Not everyone lives by conventional hours, what about night shift workers? To be able to get a burger or some chicken at 7am at the end of shift would be fab
So true. I work third shift and unless I want to wait until lunch, which is when I should be relaxing before sleep, I tend to only be able to get breakfast at most places. So wherever I can order dinner for breakfast is a friend to me.
Good videos bro! Jollibee is one of the best! Btw, what camera are you using during your bike ride? So cool! Shadows show a monopod you’re holding? I’m confuse. Enlighten me please? 😃
That was jollibee smorgasbord! Thanks. I would break it down into 3 doable meals, on different days. My first Jollibee experience was in Seattle, a 3 hr drive. Jollibee just opened a new location in Vancouver, but waiting for the 4-6 hr lineups to die down. Can't wait to get my jollibee fix.
I'm wondering what's the best thing to order if you're going for the first time (I'm asking because there's a location opening in downtown Los Angeles sometime soon, and I've never been there before).
I've never been there but have watched many videos of people going there. From what I've seen you've gotta tried their fried chicken, if you like spicy get it spicy. Get the gravy, it's a must. Also the mango pies, and the spaghetti seem to be winners. The nearest Jollibee to me is states away so I won't be trying anytime soon, sure wish I could!
Try "Chef George" in Scarborough. They serve traditional Filipino breakfast and lunch, like beef tapa and runny eggs over garlic rice. Also try the longanisa sweet sausage.
Just recently found your channel. You wonder why people watch your channel at wierd hours. Personally one of the reasons is many times I can't sleep because of chronic pain, so I like to watch videos and yours are entertaining. Keep having fun! 🙂
Bought two car trays to use on trips, and then covid hit. We finally took our first car trip since before covid and we got to use our trays. They really came in handy, and were worth the money, made eating in the car much easier.
Jollibe's break item consist of garlic fried rice sunny side up egg and a choice of diffrent meat, which are tapa( marinated beef), tocino(sweet pork almost like a jerky but 100 times better) and hot dog or conred beef. They also have pancae and a version of mc muffin....And also here in the Philippines we have tuna pie, choco pie, ube macapuno pie.....
The ube cheese pie was my favorite, sad that it was a limited offer only (Philippines). Love you showed your exercise cause eating definitely takes in A LOT of calories, and showing you need to burn the calories is a good reality check
First time I had Jollibee was in Manila, Philippines (had to try it and see what the hype was all about) and it was good!. I always had the Mcd's apple pie with vanilla ice cream and it was soooo good! Maybe try the Mango Pie with ice cream also!? :P
Not every culture eats the same thing for breakfast. Why would you expect a restaurant based in the Philippines to serve pancakes, a McMuffin or eggs bene?
Jolibee does have a breakfast menu, but its only in the Philippines and other countries, not in Canada. They serve filipino style breakfast items, like garlic rice with meats. Im from the philippines i would know.
The only things that looked good to me was the double burger and the fried chicken and the mango pie. Noise problem? Earplugs, Ken. I use them and sleep like a baby and still hear my phone alarm.
My first visit was in Rancho Cucamonga in S.Cal. They open at 8:00 and Yes I got 8 pcs.chicken and rice and gravy spaghetti and Mango and Ube pie. Cost was $20.00 Love Jollibee 😋
