@@austyp78 i don't believe that she really thought that. It was her sense of 'self depreciating' humour. I think it takes a person who is really confident within themselves, to stand up there in front of thousands and let them laugh at you 😅
I remember taking my best friend to the airport, he was moving away and I knew we would never see each other again. I was so devastated, it was 2am and I stayed up all night, then suddenly I see the report on the news Sunday morning that Joan had passed away. Definitely a day I will never forget.
oh yeah come on stop with the grimness already. ten years without satire. and hundred years without science since einstein died and five hundred years without painting because da vinci died etc etc. joan would be the first to make fun of you because of how you are turning her into some superlative. life isn’t without its difficulties and we miss joan a lot nevertheless of course. but this irreplaceability lamenting and turning people into icons is just a symptom of our own traumatic clinging.
i miss her so much. the world has changed so much in the last 10 years, i miss hearing her talk and make jokes about it. she was even gone pre-trump world, so sad
September 2024: I sure wish Joan was still with us to give us her take on donOLd's presidential campaign - sh'e have us rolling yet be pointing out the truth!
She grew up in the 60s when women were considered sexy only if they were curvy. This is why she held the belief she was ugly all her life. As a modern curvy woman who grew up in the 80s and was told she's ugly for her curves, I find this very confusing.

No body really talks enough of how elegant this legend was ❤
"Oh grow up!!" My fave JR line 😂
Thank goodness for UA-cam get to enjoy this legend any time anywhere
Thanks for tuning in to enjoy!
Joan was just simply the best .
Her wardrobe was on point! I love that suit on her. The queen of the fashion police
Love Joan ❤️
I loved this Joan. The very peak of her career.
She would have her hands full of new material, had she been alive today. Legendary.
She would have provided some great comic relief!
It’s such a shame to me that Joan believed she was ugly. She was so beautiful and glamorous. Before the plastic surgery and everything 💜

@@austyp78 also, she was beautiful and oh so very glam 😁
Anyone would feel ugly in hollywood.
@@claylexander6171 i dunno... why else would she get so much plastic surgery in her later years.
@@claylexander6171 oh you're a black supremacist...
She had guts! And I love that. Especially back in the day when nobody else did
Yes, she did! Fearless 🙌
A certain part of comedy died the day Joan did! She was the only one and still is the only one RIP
Thank you for this! 😂 Joan, (in my mind) has always been my best friend no matter what!
You are so welcome!
She was the greatest!!!!!
We miss you!!!!!!!!
She was savage!!😂😂😂 I'm in tears😂😂😂
She spared no one, least of all herself!
“Grow up!” 😂❤
We so need people like Carlin and J Rivers these days.😢
The funniest woman to ever live ❤
No one could entertain like Joan Rivers. Quick wit, beautiful, intelligent and interesting
She was the Queen of comedy.
A great start! The world misses you!❤
I miss joan. She was hilarious and spot on the moment.
A legend. She makes me cry with laughter.
She does the un-obvious, obvious punch line that slams you with its impact.

I miss her. An Icon forever
Her outfit on the “Robert Klein Show” and it was a pure black suit with a large diamond chip on her shoulder. The literalness of it.
Joan was a legend!
Thank you for letting me know about this!
Ten years without satire.
😔
Trump, wokeness, pro-Palestine freaks , so much Joan missed out on
🥺

I miss her so much. She lives thru me tho when I see most women in the State of Maine. Joan would be glad she's in hell with fashion here
thank you so much.LOVEJOAN RIP!!!!!!!!!!
You’re welcome! Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
I have loved her since I was a child ❤ So funny 😁
Fearless Joan, simply brilliant!
Yes, she was both! Thanks for watching!
The bra on the floor joke I’d never heard before, she should have kept that one in rotation.
I remember one joke Joan Rivers told on GMA at the end of the show: Angelina Jolie's dress looks like a used tampon. Cracked me up!
i miss her so much. the world has changed so much in the last 10 years, i miss hearing her talk and make jokes about it. she was even gone pre-trump world, so sad
If she was here she would support trump
@@johncalderwood1 i think she would have initially but she may have changed her thoughts by now in the trump journey. fyi i’m not anti-trump
Wendy Williams stole her whole shtick 🎯💯 period! We miss you Joan
Yooooo she was hilarious 😂
Interesting to see her develop her delivery.
What would Joan Rivers have to say about current events 2024? I miss her. 🌹
Oh, you know she would have a LOT to say. We miss her unique voice.
Joan is high on my list of ii wish I was friends with this person.
😂😂❤❤❤ this is real comedy
Joan is a legend!
So many brilliant zingers - miss her fabulous sense of humour
She is missed!
Rest in Peace Joan. Making people smile is the highest calling in life. Hope you are reaping your rewards up in heaven. Missing you terribly ❤
What a legendddd
Always loved Joan
One of the greats!
Incredible compilation ❤❤❤
i love her
Her humor hasn’t change much honestly
Icon.
Miss her😢
Joan was sooooo ahead of her time 👏👏👏 this stuff she was saying in the first clip would have been jaw-droppingly controversial at the time ❤
Joan is a legend!
when I saw this thumbnail I couldn't remember who did this Joan impersonation lol
😂
The original 😂❤
Legend 👏
4 men and 1 woman... Madonna 😂😂😂
I loved her.
Legend 🙌
Self effacing humor is better than mean spirited sniping
I met my husband at a Toys 'R' Us.
His mother abandoned him there.
her jokes don't grow old (neither did she), love her spirit, yes she was mean but her delivery of the satire made it all just work... miss her.
She wasn't mean.
Humor for adults, late at night with a drink, and a cigarette.
All the kids should be in bed by then.
Next problem? 🍸🍸🍾
@@vir2ohso what problem?
My favourite all time top comedians
5) Jennifer Aniston
4) Lucille Ball
3)Bob Hope
2)Jim Carrey
1)Joan Rivers
Nice selection of comedy, right there!
Jennifer Anniston?!?!? 😂
@johncalderwood1 she isn't my favourite, but Aniston is funny
It's funny when you realize Cher's boyfriends like 25 LOL😂
I like her red top in the beginning
Those audiences had no sense of humour back then hahaha
0:58 😂😂😂
She was beautiful
Today marks 10 years 😢
Did she to MADONNA 😮😮😮 5:23
Whats the joke about wearing white at 1:44 ?
White = virginity
Virgins wear white in the West.
Can we talk!? 😢
September 2024: I sure wish Joan was still with us to give us her take on donOLd's presidential campaign - sh'e have us rolling yet be pointing out the truth!
You know she'd have plenty to say!
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel definitely borrowed from her personality and style of storytelling and stand up.
She died the day before my dad did.
:(
Without women, none of us would be here.
Joan sadly missed

Joan complained about her breasts a lot I wonder why she never got them enhanced. She could’ve pulled off a full b cup implants quite nicely
She didn't need them.
Because then she wouldn’t be able to make fun of them anymore
She didn’t believe in plastic surgery
Did she envy Madonna?
For the record that’s not a “j”
Bullshit
