Looking back, the Padres, were an excellent team with veteran players and strong young talent! Down 2 games to none, and had to win 3 in a row, which they did! Traditionally the Cubs would of been a better match, with the parks and all, but... give credit to the Padres, I finally did!

That was my first baseball season that I followed. I am a Mets fan and wanted the Cubs to lose. I was happy when Garvey smacked the game winner. However, it was a crushing upset for the Cubs who should have won the pennant.
