I ended up watching Justified again so I just had to make another video focussing even more on the great scenes between Boyd and Raylan.

The love/hate friendship they had is next to none
“Don’t eulogize the past till the future gets it’s turn” Great characters, great actors but the writing shines above them all.
”You got ice cold water runnin’ through your veins.” and
”You make me pull and I'll put’ch down.” Are two of my favorite lines in the show.
@@batmanwins4584 I like the part where he shoots the merc in the back. As he's dying he says "You shot me in the back". Raylan answers "I'd have shot you in the front if you were running towards me."
Whoever wrote the dialogue on this series spun pure gold, and the delivery was pitch perfect
Elmore Leonard wrote the novels about Marshal Rayland Givens ... he wrote excellent realistic dialog that sticks in your memory.
These two had an amazing relationship, they were not friends, they were brothers
Olyphant and Goggins' performance in this series is STELLAR!!! Great writing - but the dialog between Raylan and Boyd is - well - just off the charts! The writing matches the performance!
The only show where the villain was equally the best friend. Justified is a masterpiece.
The Role has yet to be created, that Walton cannot kill.
Ive watched the series ending so many times i cant even count, its unbelievably satisfying. Missed this series every day since i finished it

Never heard much about Mr. Elmore Leonard until I watched the series Justified , the actors were all really great but his work on creating all these characters was friggen awesome . What a creative mind he must have had . Impressive series second to none .
Nick Searcy is the most underrated actor. Love his personality and attitude
I always love when Boyd tells Raylan his timing sucks. He says it multiple times I believe.
I miss this show so much.
Up there with the best ever. Boyd was the best anti-hero of all time.
And Raylan? Raylan was the best anti-villain. Mirror image bookends, these two. "Love your enemy," sayeth the Lord, and Lord, they did, as best they could, with all their hearts and souls.
I once heard someone say that in great stories, there are the following archetypes:
A good good guy
A bad good guy
A good bad guy, and
A bad bad guy
He was cool. Will these mafias come from bigger cities. Watch out for Boyd. He runs Kentucky.

Brothers always fight
Rarely in a show both the main character and the main antagonist are so nuanced and well written and played. And if you add the secondaries, Art, Tim, Ava, Winona, Dewey, Loretta,... what a great show.

This is a really well-made video, but I can't believe you didn't put in the "I'm Raylan Givens!" "No, I'm Raylan Givens!" moment, that was pure gold.

No matter what these two went through neither could kill the other and there was some sort of connection from growing up
Boyd's character is about as real as it gets; ups and downs, dichotomy between good and evil and how we move between the two. The effect of bad decisions and the effect of digging yourself deeper into your own hole. Great character development.
Probably my favorite series of all time even better that it has Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins who are two of my favorite actors
Love these two… their real like friendship, shines through.

My Goodness! That’s the most intense and powerful scenes ever put on film. Outstanding.
Good tribute! You caught a lot of good lines between Raylan & Boyd's verbal boxing match spanning throughout all seasons, without any important spoilers. It wouldnt be the same without the tension in the air every time they do a scene together, they dug coal together..
Raylan is a simple man whereas Boyd is anything but a simple man. He is as complicated & sophisticated as it gets.
Just wanting a LITTLE amnesia so I can watch the series all over again.

They were best friends after that, but Boyd stayed in Harlem & Raylan went to Quantico to train for the Marshalls.

Still waiting for a show to come on that can touch this. That can even get near to Justifed's scripts and vivid characters, badass scenes and sheer emotional power.
Supposedly Justified is coming back not sure who’s goin to be in it but if Boyd is left out that will be extremely disappointing
Find 'Rectify' !! Be patient, it's nothing like 'Justified'; but (IMHO) the BEST show I've ever watched.

Between the Nicy Augistine thing and Helping Wynona return the money she stole , we can leave out all the people he killed ,it was hard to tell which one was the biggest criminal. The most realistic part of the show was Ralyans willingness to kill unforgivingly without a conscience because of a star.
More than once he could have wounded and then arrested instead of killing. Justified ?
By whom I would like to ask .
1st Rylan never really broke the law just turned a blind eye to it being broken. He didn't shoot Nickey, and he didn't steal the money. As Art said Raylan was a bad Marshall but a good lawman. When it came down to it, he was never able to kill an unarmed person.
2. All of his shootings were justified. Anytime someone is posing a threat to your life, you have the legal right to put that person down. Where do you suggest shooting someone to wound them in a real life situation? The leg? There are many arteries in the leg that, when ruptured, can lead to someone bleeding out in seconds to minutes. YOU ALWAYS AIM FOR CENTER MASS because it is the largest target meaning a far greater chance you hit the target and less chance that you hit an innocent bystander and less chance that the threat will be able to return fire or pose a risk.

Number 1 , I do like the show
But the business at hand , Rayan was a screw up , that's why Art knocked him out . He was Always doing questionable shit , like helping Wynonna put back the money she stole. It is that him turning s blind eye again . You see turning a blind eye is a piss poor excuse . Just like the 3 officers who are on trial for not stopping the murder of George Floyd . They think they are getting off, but them admitting the asked him to stop but did not physically stoping there fellow officer proves their guilt . Which is the bigger crime the $20 counterfeit bill the man probably did not know was bad or the murder of a handcuffed man ?
There are good cops and bad cops . Raylan was somewhere in between , but his actions should have had him behind bars with his buddy Boyd .
When you take an oath to protect the Constitution and up hold the law you dont get to pick or choose .
It went from protect and serve to the thin blue line everything went down the toilet . There was enough corruption before now the police are a gang and cover each others dirty tracks . I have seen it all just in my small town, from cops selling drugs out of their patrol cars to murder . They have played the bullshit card for too long , now it's time to pay the piper . WE THE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH . They have broke our trust to the point it cant be fixed . I say get rid of them all , I wouldn't call them if my life depended on them , I'm sure someone would just turn a blind eye .

You are mixing fantasy with reality so, with that, I will separate the two in my following responses.
1. Art didn't knock Raylan out he blacked his eye but didn't even knock him to the ground.
2. He replaced money that was in lock-up with no one to claim ownership of it in the Winona situation. The major point being that he was righting a wrong.
3. Nicky had sent men that put a gun to the belly of the mother of his unborn child. Yet he still refrained from shooting him in cold blood and simply let what happened happen. He even told Sammy that had Nicky turned himself in that he would not have let that happen. What would you do to a man that threatened your family?
3. George Floyd did not deserve to die that day. However, a counterfeit bill was not his only crime. He was drunk, high on meth, and had cocaine in his possession. He was getting behind the wheel of a vehicle while intoxicated, which could have very easily resulted in the death of an innocent person. He was far from a Saint being that he had been arrested for holding a gun to a pregnant woman's belly robbing her and pistol-whipping her to get drug money. Again he should not have died that day, and the police officers are facing the consequences of their actions as they should, but he did deserve to be arrested for getting behind the wheel while intoxicated. I have had family die because of some stupid person driving while high, and they walked away without a scratch.
4. As far as the cops you saw dealing, did you report the officers that you saw dealing drugs did you continue to do so make an issue of it did you record it happening to have evidence? Did you go to the news stations about it? You have a responsibility to clean up your neighborhood.
5. Get rid of cops and see just how much crime rates go up. Gangs already run large areas of certain cities and kill far more people than police now remove the only force pushing back against them.
6. I will be just fine with no cops because I live in a rural area. It takes the nearest cops 15 minutes to get to my house, so they are nothing more than a cleanup crew. I am also armed, and I don't shoot to wound. Also, with the price of ammo going up, I don't give warning shots either. As Raylan told Boyd, if you make me pull, I'll put you down!

@James Olivito, it isn't my fantasy; it is just fantasy; it is a tv show. He was caught on both things. It was a tv show dude; it was meant to make him more relatable. Legally speaking, was he wrong; yes, I'm not arguing that point. Morally speaking, he put the money that he never stole back, showing that he knew it was wrong. And he did what he had to do to ensure the safety of his family, which I can fault no man for doing. If a gang member threatened your family and you killed him, you would want me on your jury because you are walking on that.
