  • Tokyo Marui VSR-10 Pro Sniper Upgrade (Full Laylax)
    The very first upgrade of this sniper.
    I recorded it directly without any cuts (it is obviously edited though).
    I had never made any upgrade to any airsoft gun :)
    You can see the results of the configuration on the video attached at the end of this one
    -----------------------------

    i have a gspec with the 130 spring instead but wiht the same set up apart from the trigger. i have installed the components but i feel that when i push back the cylinder after i pulled it feels quite rough? is there any solution to that? is it because it is not lubed enough? I have added silicone oil to the parts and rubbed through with my hands. Please advise.

      Nakamura Shino maybe the problem there are the plastic/teflon rings that "hugh" the cylinder or what you say, the piston inside is not properly lubed. I think it would be important to guess which of those is causing the trouble so I would test them separately. In order check id the piston is the problem just leave it inside without the spring and move the cylinder so as the piston falls by its weight, it should go very soft and without stopping anywhere.
      In order to check out the rings of the stock rifle assemble it without the piston nor the spring and try moving and see how it feels

      @@berett848 ok will do the test separately but is there a way to install the spring (as in which end goes to the spring guide) i made the spring with the denser looped end at the spring guide

    • @berett848
      @berett848  4 роки тому

      Nakamura Shino yes, there is a way to set the spring. Laylax springs have more loops in one side than on the other one. The part where there are more loops goes in the spring guide and the other side to the piston

      @@berett848 i think my problem is the spring guide stopper. my stock one is rubbing against the cylinder spacing. without adding the trigger the bolt pull and push is super smooth. I have tried with just the piston in the cylinder and it moves up and down smooth and steady ( lubed ). I am considering maybe also getting the trigger set so it will solve the problem.

      Nakamura Shino aaaah yeah, maybe. when the spring is compressed maybe makes the stopper grind the cylinder guide. Do you know if the stopper has made a wear mark due to this grinding?

      Tienes bastante razón ... mi principal problema es que entré, como la mayoría, en este tema del rol de Sniper de carambola y a lo loco ... Ahora mismo, con lo que se, me habría decantado casi seguro por el SSG24 de Novritsch ... son 450$ ... y no hay que upgradear nada ...

    Will this fit in the laylax hop up unit?

      @berett848  5 років тому +1

      rustywalters80 laylax hopup unit for TM VSR10 is quite the same as the original one and, indeed it is supposed to be prepared to fit on a Vsr ... so I think so

    hello, do you by any chance know the Joule you were putting out with .3 grams? im looking to build a VSR-10 but can only output 2.3 joule with .30 grams on the chrono tests.
    Cheers

    • @berett848
      @berett848  Рік тому +1

      You're supposed to have the same energy, no matter the weight of the bbs. In order to increase the Joules you would have to set a stronger spring, or make the piston heavier.

    How much does it cost?what it's fps before and after?

    • @berett848
      @berett848  5 років тому

      Before the upgrade it was about 290 fps with .20 bbs now it is what you can see on the video: ~365 fps with .40 bbs (2.5J)
      The whole kit cost about 350€ I bought it on the internet in Japan so I had to pay customs on my country: +100€

    hello, I use the 170 in full laylax and 0.20 is 500 fps, I have a gas output problem or is it correct that no more fps? It's my first sniper and I have doubts thank you.

    • @berett848
      @berett848  5 років тому +1

      Carlos David Rodríguez Campos si con un muelle de 170 y bolas de 0.2 te da 500 fps de salida ... prueba con bolas de mas gramaje, seguro que los fps bajan (logicamente) pero la energia estoy casi seguro de que sera mas de 2.5 Julios (que es mas o menos la que tienes en tu rifle ahora mismo con bolas de 0.2). Lo se porque yo he tenido este problema de Joule Creep que se llama con este sniper y ahora mismo le tengo con un muelle de 130 dandome en torno a 2.4 Julios...

      @@carlosdavidrodriguezcampos8359 Las fugas de aire primero comprueba que no tengas en el cilindro; para eso, carga el muelle y con el dedo gordo taponando el nozzle dispara; espera 5 segundos y si al soltar el piston acaba su movimiento (se nota porque se oye) es que en el cilindro no hay fugas. Luego, para comprobar las fugas del hop up, que suele ser bastante tipico, haz lo mismo pero tapando el final del inner barrel. Si buscas por mi canal creo que tengo algún video al respecto.

    maybe learn to use GD m150 aps
    .. i got with this spring 190m/s .20g bbs
    im using 0.45 BLS =134m/s 3,8 J
    98m = 100% headshot
    (well mb03)

    • @berett848
      @berett848  5 років тому

      I had to change several times the spring as I had too much joule creep with .45 bbs. Now I have a SP150 (~430fps) with a piece of sp150 that works really really fine at about 450fps without joule creep (at least with bbs till .45g). Here it is forbidden to play with a gun that has an energy output of 3.8J. Maximum is 2.8 (550fps with .20g bbs)

      yes, I made several improvements (fix several air-leaks, better fit to the inner barrel, change some pieces on the hop-up...) since I record the video so as to prevent those fluctuations (among other stuff)
