I'm from New Orleans and we have a huge French, Creole, Haitian influence and although we didn't make "kremas", the homemade eggnogs I grew up drinking were a lot similar, strong, and thick like them. We have eggnog daiquiris too. Me and a bunch of kids I grew up with also called our aunt's Tatis! I love the blend of culture!

My mom made Kremas for the first time and had me try it yesterday. IT ALMOST KNOCKED ME OUT OF MY SEAT BECAUSE IT WAS SO STRONG WITH THE RUM AND SPICES! 😂 Like you could literally see the spices at the bottom of the glass. I don't usually drink alcohol so I had her add a LOT of milk to my glass and even then it was still really strong. Tasty, but really strong lmao.
