I kept looking at White Chocolate playing with his breakfast and not eating it, I was like give it to me, because it looked really awesome! Your creations are amazing, Desiree!
Just wanted to thank you for the tour of that galley and the idea of the color coded stuff sacks: brilliant!!! We will be implementing that idea in our icebox. Thanks for the great content.
Just reviewed some old key west vids, you worked so hard to get to Havana! I am a mess now after the sunset proposal..... I actually did the same on the western shores of Lake Michigan 18 years ago sitting on some steps after a day at the beach...Congrats to the A-team on all of the events that have lead you to these glorious times on Atticus ll and all that will be coming in the future, Stay safe and be happy as we share your adventures and dreams from our land locked existences around the world. We love you all!
I discovered your channel 3 weeks ago and have watched all the videos up to today. I am obsessed. Love your videos, your adventures and Jordan’s smiling “ can do attitude.
Great video guys! Appreciate the honest commentary on the challenges and rewards of the lifestyle. Glad you're out there living it and experiencing what the sea and nature brings your way.
Nicely done. If it was not for the fires and the smoke I would be out on the lake, maybe the river with one of my kyaks. liked the scenery. Looking forward to next week.
OMG! I think this is the best video(I have watched them all). The footage of the lighthouses and the surrounding area was fantastic. This has rekindled the dream. Thanks for the rejuvenation. Until our adventures cross...
He is skipping type C fun, which is the fun of doing nothing, having no objectives or obligations, and relaxing. Cruising is this type of fun. Sail when you want, anchor when you don't. No plan, no time constraints, and no worries. That is my type of fun. I just want to sit at anchor and do nothing.
Just a hint to clean your chain. Instead of wasting so much water and battery trying to wash the mud out with water, what I do is just pull the chain up until it starts to get muddy, then I just shake the anchor back and forth in the saltwater, using a pool with a hook on one edge. The back and forth movement of the chain in the water removes all the mud with no use of batteries. Once this section is clean, push the anchor up a little bit more, rinse and repeat. Works like a charm. :)
Jordan your Type A and B classification kept me thinking and resonates with me. Agree Type B is more rewarding after you overcome the obstacles. The fog you encountered was pretty engaging as you kept looking at the blips on the Radar. Have a good week ahead
You hit the nail on the head with the cruising life. It is much hader and much more rewarding than most people talk about. Its hard to take your 100k dollar boat out and some people would think we where crazy for doing it but its why we bought the boat.
This was a great video. I watch your channel pretty religiously. The part of this video where you start talking about type A fun and Type B fun and spending it with loved ones was such a true statement. I’m not a sailer yet but I find my fun in a lot of other adventures. This was an amazing outlook on the things we do with friends and family to find the things that make us feel alive and a rush. Thanks for sharing guys!!!
I was really pleased to hear your comments on the two types of fun. It looks like you now operate in the stretch zone instead of outside your comfort zone. Keep up the great work.
Loved the philosophizing over breakfast. And especially your thoughts Jordan while seeing parts of your Maine PB adventure. Look out Deserderata Jordan's catching up .. enJoy it all as far as possible.
Nice video! When under sail and engine off we don't worry about lobster pot buoys. Even if you run over they just fall off thanks to skeg rudder. That's why we try to sail in Maine whenever possible.
I wondered this. Has anyone else had any contradictory experience with motor off Lobster pot problems?? Great Set of episodes (I am behind but watching them in order) … I have been on shore in Maine, but the from the water perspective looks even better!
Fantastic summation about cruising and fear/stress at the end. This isn't discussed enough and it's so much a part of it. Thank you. I also totally agree with the type A and type B fun. It's absolutely true. Thank you both for that discussion.
Wow. Your drone shots are wonderful. And the music selection Desiree is perfect. You guys are the best of the best. Keep on keeping on. Little dude is so cute and easy going.
Hope you can have someone install an insulated door to the bottom of your refrigerator, like you saw on the other Pacific Seacraft. That would totally rock for you. Also, I agree with a second compressor or whatever it is called, for additional cooling, in case one fails. :)
Yes! We've had a similar talk about sailing in general, which we started after 25 years of marriage. The intense focus, facing of fear and challenges, has given us another way to come closer together as we learn and acquire experience. There is no other activity that wholly distracts us from our stressful lives.
Great drone footage!! Soupy fog! Yikes! Dodging zombie bouys... Fun fun... Lifting fog.. Craft beer... Yeah captain voted :) lol little capt oso and white chocolate getting the dingy secure! Classic! Awesome breakfast yum! Shawn has deep thoughts.. Hehe
Hey the next time your in the area towards Tennants Harbor, make a stop at Port Clyde, its a quaint location. Check out the general sto-ah. The do well putting up with Summer Complaints (non-Mainers there just for the sum-ah),
Jordan, you're my hero. Although my water experience is daily. It's not near what you and Deserie do, you two inspire me always. I never give to you monetarily because my own boat and family requires all of my funds, but I do offer my prayers for your safety. And I hope you two can do this adventure in love and fun for your whole lives.
Desiree casually mentioned something that probably few picked up on and that's that "you hardly realize that you could lose your boat out here" in referring to the significant danger of of the plethora of lobster pot floats, especially in low visibility! Getting a float line wrapped around your prop while motoring could wind up the lobster pot so fast it would come up and hit the hull and wind up ripping the prop hardware out of the bottom of the boat leaving a hole that could sink your boat quickly! Of course the best defense is to avoid New England. Easy to do until you have actually tasted the lobstah! The next best is to put some really sharp line cutters on your prop shaft! Other than those, you have to go really slowly through the "mine fields", & avoid moving the boat in the fog or darkness.
Wicked! So many harbors with Craft brews here in Maine - certainly if you can hit Casco bay Portland is the meca of craft beer. Since you are in Georgetown Five Islands Lobster is certainly worth a trip in between refit work. Its BYOB and is some of the sweetest lobster I've ever had without butter. Safe travels!
Avid viewer , first time commenter ,,,, awsome video , I like that you bring reality into it ,, People gotta understand , its not fun all the time , with the risk comes reward , i will see you on the Seas in October , keep safe my friends
We loved Maine this summer and Tenants was a destination for us as well. Unfortunately every eatery was closed that day so we missed out on the Happy Clam! But we grabbed some lobsters and I made the lobster Mac and cheese from The Galley Pirates and it was amazing! Definitely a keeper recipe! I’m not sure if you are still in Maine but we had a great time in Snow Island and of course Dolphin Marine where they have the best fish chowder around!
Love these videos!!! You guys have really inspired me to live more, take chances and I am now dreaming of owning my own sailing boat and sail to the ends of the world to explore ! Just gotta find my own buddy to go with me
Sometimes it's the closing statements that totally make the video. I'm more of a 2nd type of fun kind of guy and feel like the moment you stop challenging yourself is the moment you start dying. At 54, I decided to get back on dirt bikes and see if I could learn those skills again. Tough learning (mentally and physically) curve but so rewarding to carve a quick turn or land a sketchy jump. Good for you both for getting though the bad and appreciating the good!
There are 2 types of fun:
1) its fun while you are doing it
2) it is fun to remember it
Batten down the hatches. Looks like you may be in for some weather.
Safe travels and good health.
I kept looking at White Chocolate playing with his breakfast and not eating it, I was like give it to me, because it looked really awesome! Your creations are amazing, Desiree!

Arial footage just splendid. And such a beautiful boat. I hope you appreciate her as not many are as handsome.
I discovered your channel 3 weeks ago and have watched all the videos up to today. I am obsessed. Love your videos, your adventures and Jordan’s smiling “ can do attitude.
You guys have seized the real meaning of life , you are awesome , thanks for sharing witth such honesty
Absolutely beautiful!!!
Glad to see your nephew out with you guys, “white chocolate”. 👍🏽
Cheers 🍻
8:44; wow!! That could have been bad.
Just THE BEST sailing channel! You know why (besides the great photography, drone work and editing)? Your humility.❤️ you guys.
Your videos just keep getting better and better. Thank you so much. Cheers from locked-down Melbourne Oz
Great video guys! Appreciate the honest commentary on the challenges and rewards of the lifestyle. Glad you're out there living it and experiencing what the sea and nature brings your way.
The arial shot of your boat and the lighthouse isle was fantastic and my heart was racing high excitement. Thanks for the great videography.
Jordan. Great commentary on the A’s and B’s of fun. The B fun is always always superior.
lol "The Mainers are getting mad at us." You guys crack me up! ❤️
Stay safe in the weather that looks like it's headed your way.
Nicely done. If it was not for the fires and the smoke I would be out on the lake, maybe the river with one of my kyaks. liked the scenery. Looking forward to next week.
What a way to wake up on a Sat morning in Canada - beautiful buds x3
That was a magical episode - I so enjoyed it - from a landlocked London UK thanks for the experience . . . . . .
Gigantic like 👍. It feels like we are there with you.
Hey guys! Thanks for the shout out at the end. Glad to contribute in a small way to your adventures!
Gotta love a restaurant with a Beer Garden! Great shots in this video. Nice job guys!
OMG! I think this is the best video(I have watched them all). The footage of the lighthouses and the surrounding area was fantastic. This has rekindled the dream. Thanks for the rejuvenation.
Until our adventures cross...
Great philosophizing - true observations. Maine looks beautiful. Thanks for the video!
Brilliant, well done guys! Love how real you are!
Loved that narrative on type "a" and type "b" fun. A great way to think about seeking and living a fulfilling life!
Yeah, I’d kind of forgotten that I prefer type b fun.
Same, but at home.
It’s type I, II & III fun.
Just a hint to clean your chain. Instead of wasting so much water and battery trying to wash the mud out with water, what I do is just pull the chain up until it starts to get muddy, then I just shake the anchor back and forth in the saltwater, using a pool with a hook on one edge. Excellent video quality, editing and sound. I can not imagine it being done better.
Beautiful words at the end Jordan!
Jordan your Type A and B classification kept me thinking and resonates with me. Agree Type B is more rewarding after you overcome the obstacles. The fog you encountered was pretty engaging as you kept looking at the blips on the Radar. Have a good week ahead
Boy oh boy Jordan you're reaching pro level now every time you put that drone in the air. Just superb footage well done.
Yes, its really amazing! Those closing shots in this video sailing away from the lighthouse were spectacular!
yeah he's got me all inspired to go fly again
You hit the nail on the head with the cruising life. It is much hader and much more rewarding than most people talk about. Its hard to take your 100k dollar boat out and some people would think we where crazy for doing it but its why we bought the boat.
So very well put, Jordan.

The slow drone and ground scenes with calming music are masterful. Perfect job.
14:05 “I don’t really trust that” 😂. Smart lady, go with your instincts when it comes to strange foods 👍
Good episode. Love the two types of fun philosophy.
Very Nice video! Stay safe as Henri comes North
Beautiful episode! I'm so glad that nice woman straightened you out on the steamers.
I was really pleased to hear your comments on the two types of fun. It looks like you now operate in the stretch zone instead of outside your comfort zone. Keep up the great work.
You guys are living the dream.

Desiree you are absolutely right, "you could lose your boat out there".
Another great video! Love the “types of fun” as it applies to cruising, so true!
You guys are doing fine. Don’t let anybody tell you different.
Fun! The difference between being alive and living.
Love the Drone footage. You fly that thing like Pros x
Love the 2 types of fun part....it's so true!
Fantastic summation about cruising and fear/stress at the end. This isn't discussed enough and it's so much a part of it. Thank you. I also totally agree with the type A and type B fun. It's absolutely true. Thank you both for that discussion.
thanks again guys.
Love the type A and type B fun explanation. Great vid 👍👍👍
Jordan fixing to commit projecticide and eyeballing the sea craft with the mizzenmast…. 🤔 Great video!
I continue to be BLOWN AWAY by this channel every week. Wow, you guys are amazing. I am glad you exist.

Burrowing clams have a "neck," which is really a mouth that is the only part not protected by the hard shell, so it is protected by a leathery skin.
