Glad you found it helpful, the last cell C5 is also measured between the C4 and + terminal. I simply subtracted what was left in the video to roughly know the voltage of it and save a little video time. Thanks for your comment!
Interesting, does this prove that the chargers do not provide any pack balancing and instead only monitor the individual cell voltages? Do DeWalt packs provide internal BMS balancing or is no effort made to keep the pack cells balanced?
I am not aware of any. It seems to only monitor and the tool detects the level. I have only worked on a few of these. Most have unbalanced cells over time. To be fair though this is always due to age and cell capacity is starting to change between the cells.
