*TATA* s' are on a different league . They run almost everything . Its a software company , Its also a Salt , Sugar , Tea and Coffee company , Then its also an automobile manufacturer , then its also into Steel Iron Gold and Coal business. Then its to Construction . Oh no then they are into Hotels , Airlines. 😂 Its not a corporation. Its a coglomerate.

India is not poor, india is a rich country with lot of poor people top 1% of india owns more than 40% wealth

@@sanaysurana7885thats the same for all countries 😂😂😂 its worse in usa just 500 people own 95 percent pf the wealth same like in china too its the same jere this is a basic calculation....
Suppose ur family runs a business of turnover 1 crore per yr that does nt means he gets 1 crore everywhere...he might take a salary of just 5 lakh and profit of 3%....,how many people working 20 people whose salary are also covered in that....like wise the valuation depends much on the shares and equities on bigger entities...think if ur dad becomes bankrupt ur valuation drops to zero...just see byjus condn now...

Sorry India has one of the world's largest middle class population. The theory of indians are poor is propagated by Western nations and their biased media. Simple as that.

Reliance is into retails so they have huge assets where as tcs is a tech company and TATA is the most reliable brand in India so public sentiment does the major work especially in a country with largest population if you add all Tata businesses it is by far largest group as a whole.

Wish you covered Essar group as well. They arent as big as they once were mostly because some major asset sales and keeping their businesses private but in the mid to late 2000s they had about 70-100bn in assets. About 15bn in steel, 13bn in refining, 12bn in vodafone stake, 5bn in semi developed steel and mining assets, 2-3 bn in gas, about 2-5bn in oil and exploration rights and rest is mostly stake in other allied business or close family ventures. Since most werent listed they never were appropriately valued but by pure asset size alone they wouldve been well in the f500 list as well.

You can't compare an oil to retail company Mcap to IT company's mcap Of course IT company would be valued higher relative to its fundamentals because it is high growth and high margin buisness. You also can't compare Reliance to its peers because it's a conglomerate with diversified buisness that has high growth potential like it's subsidiary JIO, RR etc... you need to understand the nuances.

*Reliance and TCS is one branch of many companies of parent company lol and you need to figure out valuation of all of them which makes them bigger, not as you are calculating one branch valuation. The net revenue of Reliance Industries (RIL) for FY23 went past $100 billion mark for the first time ever, aided by strong shows put up by its Oil to Chemicals (O2C) and retail segments.*
    *Reliance Revenue*
    (US$130 billion) in (2024)
    *Total assets*
    (US$220 billion) (2024)
    *Net income*
    (US$9.9 billion) (2024)
